  1. Cunning only works with a commander's unique command cards. So Krennic or Kallus alone can only benefit on 3 rounds. Together they can get Cunning every round.
  2. With HQ Uplink the unit gives an order to itself, so it doesn't trigger the bonus from Ace Up His Sleeve.
  3. I actually think he's not great at tying up force users, even with Face Me. Pretty much every force user will have Force Push, and there's nothing stopping them from just pushing him away. I actually think Face Me isn't great for shutting down enemy units, but it's awesome for keeping Kallus alive once he's in a place where he wants to be (assuming there are enemy units there as well). Both of these commanders seem pretty cool, but I don't think we can make any real evaluation of them until we see their Flaw cards, not to mention the rest of their command cards.
  4. It definitely looks like Bolster and Direct will be on them, yes.
  5. Yes, but that's made clear by the Melee range icon (or lack thereof), and explained in the rules for melee attacks.
  6. It does seem that FFG could have avoided some confusion by just listing the maximum range for any weapon that doesn't have a minimum range, and listing two numbers would just be an indicator that the weapon has a minimum range. So an E-11 would just say 3 instead of 1-3, but an HH-12 would still say 2-4. After all, nobody says a DLT-19 is a "range 1-to-4 weapon," they just say "range 4."
  7. The first part may have been true before he was in Legion, but saying that he should not be in Legion is in no way a fact. This is also in no way a fact, this is your opinion on how Veers should have been implemented. Fun (actual) fact: if you use the word should, it is automatically not a fact. I don't think she would work as an operative. Operatives (so far) are individuals who operate outside of the normal command structure, or at least don't specifically command other people, and are generally combat heavy or spies, neither of which apply to Pryce. Governor Pryce is, well, a Governor, ie. someone who is in direct command of a lot of people, including members of the military. Also, she directly (poorly) commands attacks on the Lothal Rebels towards the end of Rebels. I don't think she would work well as a full Commander, but Field Commander seems like a decent spot to put her, especially as vehicles were always involved in her combat actions. She would also be a good fit for the ITT, but she could also come with the Imperial Patrol Transport if we ever get that.
  8. I agree that ion tokens should be limited to 1. And I also agree that the weapons themselves need something to make them more attractive in general. Maybe give Ion an effect against non-vehicles/droids? Maybe they could be Suppressive against non-vehicles/droids? Or maybe they still give Ion tokens, but the token does something different on non-vehicles/droids? Like maybe the defender can spend it while the unit with the token is attacking to force them to reroll some dice. I think if they were always useful, no matter what your opponent was using, people wouldn't mind as much that they weren't guaranteed success against vehicles.
  9. I haven't personally used it, but I think Snowtroopers with the T-7 Ion might be viable now. The cost has been decreased 14 points from what it was at launch and the range has been increased to 3. With Steady, they can Recover>Move>Shoot every round. If Snowtroopers ever get a Captain like the Stormtrooper Captain, they could also equip Offensive Push and be unable to be Suppressed ever, with a free aim every round (so that's unlikely to happen lol).
  10. I'm assuming you mean PT and not ST? Regardless, we have known since GenCon (which was 4 months ago) that after the Specialist packs the next 4 releases were going to be for the OT factions. They told us that two of them would be characters (Lando and Kallus), and several people predicted that the other two things would be new heavies. It has been almost two years since the last OT heavies were released, and we will definitely be past the two year mark when they actually get released. Whereas the PT heavies just came out this year, 10 of the last 12 releases have been for PT, and the next 2 will also be PT. But I get it. I'm pretty much exclusively a CIS player (I have Imperials and a bit of Rebels, but CIS got me back into this game after being out for about a year). There's still a ton of stuff CIS and GAR need to catch up. But FFG/AMG can't just drop all the Rebel and Imperial players for two years while the PT factions catch up.
  11. To be fair Maul's probe droids need three of them, and it seems that they now are just putting that same sprue in with any unit that needs more than 1 flight stand. STAPs only need two stands but they come with the same 4-stand sprue.
  12. Let me preface this by saying I am not a Boba Fett fanboy. He's...fine. But people forget that Darth Vader had to hire him and a mess of other bounty hunters to do something he could not: track the Millenium Falcon. And of those bounty hunters, not only was Boba the only one to actually succeed, he immediately and accurately predicted how Han would evade the Empire, figured out where he was going, and got himself and the Empire there before Han and company, and all with the good guys being none the wiser.
  13. Presumably they wanted a Rebel closed transport to match the Imperial Troop Transport that we are presumably also getting. Because otherwise pretty much anything else would have been better received lol.
  14. I would recommend fluorescent paint in addition to @54NCH32's technique. Vallejo and Scale75 make some really good ones.
  15. Asmodee won't even help customers with missing parts anymore. There's no way they are spending money to monitor what game shops are doing with the stuff they sent them.
  16. LAATs are possible (especially since the A-A5 is 4 meters longer*), but the MTT (the transport tank from The Phantom Menace) is 4 times as long as an AAT. CIS could get the NR-N99 as an open transport, but I'm not sure if they have a canon closed transport that is within the correct scale. *Side note: is this the first unit in the game that will have to be massively scaled down? At 21.4 meters long, it's more than twice the length of the AAT.
  17. Tell that to every single online retailer that exists. There have been many, many examples recently of bot scalpers snatching up the majority of a release of a product. Because how would someone prove they're a real person to a web store, in a way that couldn't be faked by a bot? And all online retailers limited the new consoles to 1 per person, and yet scalpers got the vast majority of them. And even if they were somehow able to limit these to 1 per real person, they still would have been scalped, probably at about the same rate that they currently are.
  18. Also that was my point. People were saying that Ahsoka killing people who were actively trying to kill her was darkside. I was pointing out that there are many examples of Jedi doing exactly that.
  19. Leia may have killed Jabba, but Luke tells her to blow up the barge. Jabba was already dead, and the barge likely still had many sentients on board, why blow it up? They could have just flown away on the skiff and left it there.
  20. Then bot scalpers would have snatched them all up and flipped them on ebay for huge profits.
  21. Honestly, how could they have done this better? And despite some stores' shady practices, I guarantee more people who wanted one of these got them for the normal $15 price (or cheaper) than if they had been released at Star Wars Celebration as was originally planned.
  22. One of my local stores is raffling at least one of them off to raise money for a charity, which I think is a pretty great way to handle it.
  23. Still sad that Alex didn't get to make the move, but this definitely improves my outlook for the future of Legion.
