I also find the lightsaber a bit weird. It is better than the starter staff and has much better surge abilities so the balanced hilt is a very good upgrade. It's a weird combo with Diala's precise strike. +3pierce and "remove on defence die" often has the same effect. Again Vader or other 2die enemies its's good, but otherwise I guess you should see it as it allows you to save strain from not using precise strike, but using the +3pierce instead. thestag > AFAIK the saber only has 1 upgrade slot

and just to clarify, if Fenn uses the ability on himself, he can use the movement point at any time during his activasion
-
The ruling is fairly straightforward, it seems weird that a shot at one target can hurt a target in the opposite direction, but that's that.

Hoe about the T-21 from tier2 to Fenn? You're almost guarenteed a surge for Stun would go well with suppressive fire.

Imperial activations in the campaign game

Starkiller? That has to be the absolutely worst name given to any character in any media. The Death Star gets a pass because it was named 40years ago, but Starkiller? Seriously?

I think we should have a discussion for each hero and as I'm currently playing Fenn in a campaign I'll begin the one for him. What is his strengths? What is his weaknesses? What are some good builds? What should he focus on? From the get go he has easy access to blast making him good at taking out stormtroopers. He can focus on this and upgrade it to do extra damage/stun but he can also be build quite tanky with adrenalin rush and take cover. Weapon Expert and Superior Positioning would also allow him to deal some good ranged damage and with Tactical Movement he can be as fast as Jyn. My plan was to first take Tactical Movement as extra movement is always useful, then I plan to get trench fighter (with spread barrel) and adrenalin rush to be able to deal some good close quarter damage regardless of weapon. Later I would take either rebel elite or suppressive fighter to take better advantage on Havoc Shot. How are you playing the Veteran Fighter ?

Havent had a game where allies have been deployed so my comment might be useless. I imagine that allies really will shine when you gain abilities and items that reduces their cost. Isn't there a supply card that allows you to deploy a free ally?
-
That's it. I'm only going to paly the Campaign game so I figure I am better of just being the expansion and not worrying about packs

How the hell did you manage to deal that much damage in two turns Fizz?

Jyn Odan Trick Shot: Counting Spaces and Quick Draw

You still count range from Jyns position. Quickdraw activatws at the beginning of a figures activation, no requirements as to having LOS -
Dark Obsession = Dark Results for group!!
Hatting replied to cubsfan4life's topic in Imperial Assault Campaign
The general strategy seems to be that you do not slow down, Vader must move every possible time. Protect him units with cloaking devices or assault armor, but be carefull not to allow the rebels to cleave/blast dmg him too easily -

Well, Vader required you to have him unlocked. Btw, which side mission do you have to win to deploy the Royal Guard Champ? None till the expansion? -

It's true you gotta watch your threat level and not bring too expensive units, but one should also remember that the IP is allowed to study the mission and the it's events before starting. Often during a mission you gain substantial amounts of threat allowing you to drop a high threat surprise that otherwise wouldnt be viable. Behind every door, Darth Vader might be waiting. -

Royal Guard's are just straight up awesome. Never really a bad pick. Decent dmg and STUN, oh glorious stun. In any mission the hero's are under pressure, stun is the way to go. For a single attackt you deny an entire action for the heroes. The Regular trooper are also great. A full squad of these do quite heavy damage, either spread out or on a single hero, all by your choice. Their ability to reroll makes them a consistent 3dmg per head. That said, I really hope FFG soon will release more groups. The option right now are good and all, but feels kinda limited. Especially with the class cards. Tech supp only works on droids and the trooper only are only viable on Stormtroopers -
I belive the missions are more balanced around 4 heroes, I recal to have read some missions are tilted in one way or the other when playing with just two heroes
-
Squad Training is an ability on the figure that is attacking, it is not granted by another figure like the Royal Guard Protector ability. Therefore, as the ability say, "You maye reroll 1 attack die"

Jyn and Trick Shot Upgrade

According to RRG: Without having the Trick Shot card on me I revcall that it only says that you trace LOS from another square, thus you would still count accuracy from your location -

We will continue to allow reach being used on objects and doors because that is the simplest solution, regardlass of what the RAW say. Interacting will always require the player to be on/adjecent to the object -
What is the best combo on Rebels for a campaign
Hatting replied to HansHoekstra's topic in Imperial Assault Campaign
Was about to comment on how Mak's ability to gain 2 pierce when attack was causing me several problems, when I decided to look him up first, there I discovered that he actually needs to out of line of sight to the figure he is attacking, **** rebels have been playing me wrong! -
How does the size of the e-web help?
-
No, in IA large figures doesnt not shrink unless using a special ability like the Nexus Pounce ability. This makes large figures somewhat more cumbersome to move around
