  1. Reading ALL of the rules IS the spirit of the game. You're the Imperial Overlord, you know what it is behind that door, you know your facilitys defense system and you know what reinforcements are on the way, and you plan accordingly
  2. What are the restrictions on Hired Guns in campaign? I think the rules says you can't any more groups of a type then there are deployment cards in the base game, right? Can i buy two packs of Hired Guns and use both as open groups?
  3. Can't remember if I confuse this mission with another, but I belive part of this mission is that the heroes have to escape through a narrow corridor that could be blocked quite easily. The Nexu is great for that

  10. A new main campaign and more grunt trooper. What I miss form Descent is the huge varaiety of critter to throw at the rebels in large number. In Star Wars we get a maximum of 3 troopers per card and they are so far the only three unit group. Also more heroes and items cards. Need more stuff to fill into the main campaign

  12. Never noticed the side missions in the core had different time periods. I guess that just shows that the developer have pretty long plans for this game
  13. What's important to remember is that her devices are cheap, versatile and does not cost an action. She is fast with a speed of 5 and will probably not be needing to spend her strain on moving. I would bet that she has class cars to allow her to create more devices and pass them from a distance. Her devices are just one part of her, she also has her actions for attack and moving around grabbing objectives whihc we don't know how good she'll be at yet
  14. It also seems highyl impractical to have a vibrating bayonet on your gun, can't beed good for your accuracy. I guess that Biv have to path just like other heroes, one of those focusing on his C&P ability. Perhaps another of his abilities is to add a mod slot to a ranged weapon?
  15. Edit: read your post wrong. Hmm, I dont really like this method, seems redundant. I believe the rules as are, are quite fine
  16. We just finished the Rebel Sabotourmission: We absolutely steam rolled the IP. This our first side mission with threat level 2. By the second turn we had the sabours freed, by the third they were wailing at the door with about 2dmg per attack, then the door got knocked down the Ip could do nothing to stop us from smashing the terminal in there. The sabotours seem pretty cheap and very good at what they do.

  18. Regarding melee weapons. Has anyone ever used the fist weapons? All those weapons without slots seems unpopulor among the heroes.
  19. If it doesnt say LOS is required, LOS is not required Simple as that. It is not unreasonable that you are able to throw a grenade around a corner
