  3. Reporting a great trade with Card Knight.
  4. I've got one more idea. Besides my first one. I know Grand Admiral Thrawn is in wave 6, here's my version 1. Commander slot. Grand Admiral Thrawn : Your opponent plays with their command dials face up. Cost 35-40pts 2. Officer Slot: Tactician Officer : Bow Rapid Decompression. Blowing a front hatch on the ship reverses the ship one speed straight backwards before the movement phase. Your ship suffers 1 face down damage and exhaust this card. Cost 12pts 3. Officer Slot: Tactician Officer : Port or Starboard Rapid Decompression. Blowing a side hatch moves this ship within distance 1 left or right of its current position before the movement phase. Your ship suffers 1 face down damage and exhaust this card. Cost 12pts 4. Ordnance Slot: Sonic Mine Despencer : Replaces arch attack, place 1 objective token per squadron attack dice at that range. Sonic mine despencer shoots one blue dice to each squadron within distance 1. Mine Despencer can be destroyed. Hull 1. Hits count as one damage and criticals count as two damage. Cost 12pts
  5. With these new objectives...... let the bidding for initiative begin.
  6. After the Vancouver Regionals in which I ran an Interdictor Suppression with NK-7s and Intel, I have changed my tune. What a bad *** combo. I normally ran a 4 Glad/Demo with Rogues build. Thats all over with. Not knowing what the next wave gives me. I know that the NK-7s and Intel to strip those braces and evades away and having Demo then finish, ohh I feel like a fat kid locked in a candy store overnight. (oh ya I am fat old kid!) Naboobo2000
  7. LOOKING for : 2016 Worlds Acrylic Objective Tokens 2016 Worlds Speed Dials Alt Art Boba Fett Pm me for proper trade. Naboobo2000
  8. There was talk about Wave 5 play testing and Wave 6. I got into a conversation with a member of FFG and talked about what card to create if you won. I asked if the last Worlds winner had there card created. I was told that the card is not even in the works yet. If thats the case then Wave 5 and 6 are done and wave 7 is in the works. Also overheard people talking about shield dials... What uses that many shields???
  9. Grand Admiral Thrawn Commander "Your opponent plays the entire game with their command tokens face up."
  10. My first experience with traveling with my Armada stuff was this years Gencon. I took all my stuff in large dice bags and placed them in my travel murse (satchel). I carried it on the plane so only I touched it. Only problem I had was set up at the Con. Putting everything in bags then dumping them out one table over sucked. This year at Worlds, I'll bring my Dice tray with my stuff. Now between games I can put the stuff in the tray and walk it around. Naboobo2000 Chris Shaffer
  11. Oh ok..... You openly challenge me knowing I work every weekend.. Nice. Let's see. I choose to work. Why so I can go to other tournaments. Overdawg is a great player and great person.. Why do I know that because I played him.
  12. See you keep quoting from the third paragraph that as nothing to do with Gencon. Thank you for proving my point about being prepared. You are prepared and you win... Du!
  13. You should play Rebels for a time. You will understand better I think then. To be fair you are also biased. You are saying that everyone outside of the top 3 at GenCon was not prepared for Demolisher and that is why they were beaten. Was none of your 5 matches good? What the heck are you talking about? Only Rebels fly against Demo? I flew against Demo at Gencon and was prepared and adjusted for it while in play. I flew against Demo last night without mine and wasn't concerned. Please don't presume that you know what happened at Gencon or what my thoughts are. In my comment above where did I mention that people outside of top 3 where not prepared? I have the upmost respect for all the competitors at Gencon or any other Tournament or even Local game nights and would never disrespect any other player or attempt to troll them on any forum. Naboobo2000 Chris Shaffer Instead of being defensive, maybe you should consider what I am saying. You are saying that people who lose to Demo are not prepared for Demo here let me quote you. Your words. You used Demo and beat people WITH Demo. Thus they were not prepared for it. Your. Words. The people in the Top 3 all Had Demo. ALL. So everyone else must not of been prepared because they lost to player who used Demo. Once again, Your. Words. I play both sides, I can handle Demo. Yet it does not mean that it is not the strongest ship upgrade in the game. It is used more than TRC's, more than Motti, more than any other card. Tell me how is that not powerful? Go on. Play the other side, see how they have to deal with Demolisher. Be upset, be agitated, whatever you want but I am not criticising your opponent, in fact I know one of them and knows he is one of the best players out there. I am criticising your words. See you don't have a clue..... Not one... Your attempt to troll is sad. My last game of day 1 was a 3 glad demo build with lots of fighters.. I lost my demo to fighters and triple tap... My opponent set it up perfectly. While that was happening I set up the two counters and dropped Demo and another Glad.. Where did I say anything about players at Gencon not being prepared. Oh I know you read paragraph 1 and 3 and thought I was talking about the same thing... Your attempt to troll does not effect me in the slightest.. My words. If my opinion effects you we can talk in person.

  15. First of all I would also say thank you to FFG and crew for a wonderful tournament. We at Armada have a wonderful community of players around the area that showed up, played well and had a great time including myself. This was my undefeated list. I tied with second place with tournaments points but lost out with Margin Of Victory. Glad 1 Admiral Monferrat Engine Techs Assault Proton Torpedoes Demolisher Glad 1 Admiral Screed Assault Proton Torpedoes 2 x Glad 1 Assault Proton Torpedoes Mauler Mithel Bossk IG-88 3 x Aggressors I know "you don't have Ordnance Experts". Basically my strategy was simple. Imperial box with my Glads. Force them to in my kill zone and burn their fighter activations with mine. My movement is the most critical thing. My only game that I could not get my opponent into my area was Brian Schmidt. He did a masterful job of staying just outside my black die range. My last game was Intel sweep and this was my only aggressive game I played. I charged straight out at speed three with Demo and two other glads. My Commander ship started at 2 and then went 3 after collecting the first token. Demo killed the cr-90 that was collecting tokens and another cr-90 then drove up the MC80s butt. The other three ships boxed the conga line. My fighters lost the fighter war but did their job by locking up fighters and bombers. Had a wonderfull time. Met some Super Great Friends that I hope to meet up again next year. Naboobo2000 Chris Shaffer
  16. Yes the talk of Nerf was in the air at Gencon. This is my take. Out of my 5 games at Gencon I used Demo with double tap twice. Did I overly use him? Nope. Did I use him as bait? Yes. Did I use 3 other Gladiators? Yes. Did they pump out the damage more then Demo? Oh yell ya.. Demo is OP? no. He is easy to move in close and hit. He has all the same defense and HP as the other Glads. Lets Nerf those also right. Just because people like the Empire and do well at Regionals or Gencon we are thinking about this. I bet people now will start talking about Nerf-in Tractor beams or TRC's. In reality the players that are getting beat with Demo are not prepared to handle him. Thats the single thing we are talking about. I went against a 3 Glad List one was Demo and a ton of fighters. I played one wrong move and let Demo beat me up. But I still took him out in the course of 1 round. I was prepared. ARE YOU! Oh I did that after loosing my Demo... For the Dev who is thinking about this... Watch some games and ask yourself is the opponent prepared for a possible Demo list or did they mix up their strategy for Demo.. I change up on the fly and I am super flexible about how I play. 17. The Aces are winning the battle, but the ships are now in range... The blood bath begins.
  18. This is truly a battle of which squadrons are going to die first. Round three will see someone's ship fire, but who first.
  19. Screed pops off 2 damage + a crit. Needing to roll off more dice is not needed. Any misses are tossed for Screed. I only need a few damage and Screed picks up the rest.

  21. Found a problem with my favorite builder. If I have an upgrade card not with a ship I can't use it. Like a promo or an award card. Thanks Naboobo
