  1. Honestly, I wonder if they could pull off a multi-mini model (that was fun to type.) Have a stat sheet that is 3 hull, 3 attack, 3 agility. The model ability is: "You may never expose a damage card. Decrease your attack value by 1 for every damage card on this ship." Basically something to show it's firepower decaying as parts of the swarm are killed off. Probably unnecessarily complicated, but maybe they can find a fun way to do it.
  2. I'm not really big on the prequels, but I am genuinely happy for the 10% of the forums that got exactly what they've wanted for years. Other than that, I'm actually very curious how they're going to do the CIS ships. They're the only faction I agree with having more than 8 ships on the board, as they take mass produced to a whole new level even the Empire didn't compete with.
  3. I took it as distance. Basically taking the normal and safe route is 20 parsecs. Any less distance has to be made up for bold flying through the maelstrom.

  5. I'd have to try it out, but losing a shot is a tough price to pay when you throw 4 dice.
  6. What about doubling down on Coordinate and taking Pattern analyzer instead of any crew? There's a lot of red on that dial, getting coordinate or even a focus to hit harder may pay off more.
  7. Just tried flying the Major Striden version of the squad I mentioned above (but trading Fire Control System for Advanced Optics and Collision Detector.) Had two games against the same Nym+Miranda squad, and I'm pretty happy with it. Major Striden's ability to coordinate at the same PS as the Silencers was fantastic. It effectively acted as either Advanced Sensors or Push the Limit on most turns, and turns when I couldn't coordinate (rare) I would regain my focus. Fire Control System didn't seem as appropriate because it was so much harder to keep the same target in arc from turn to turn. Death Troopers didn't come into play all that often, but it's a great way to shut down Expertise so I've decided to keep it. Note that I'm pretty out of practice, and it was on TTS instead of in person. So not necessarily the best data point, but it's something.

It's weaknesses are completely different than the silencers too (namely, it doesn't care about bombs.) *edit: Also realizing that using Major Striden, dropping Advanced Optics, and changing Tactician to Death Troopers may be a more interesting way to do things.   10. Sorry, my feedback got left off. I love the pilots you suggested, I really really do. Not a fan of your non title upgrades as much though. They just don't quite sit right, and I can't put my finger on it.
  11. Apologies for any typos, my laptop is out of commission right now. I brought up a fix a while ago for B wings, but I think when the forums changed over to Asmodee it got lost. It seems very applicable to the punisher though. Semi-Active Radar System System - 0 pts When attacking with a torpedo, you may add a hit result when attacking a large ship. Additionally, if attacking a ship with 1 agility or lower, you may convert a result to a crit.

It also has tame instances of many of the fundamental things: - A turret - Ion - Stress management (PTL and R2 Astromech) - Prediction and area denial (Snap Shot) - Sustained target damage (FCS) - A named pilot with a skill - Initiative bid - Multiple actions
