  1. The 6 aember on my oponent's card in quiz 1 threw me off!

That and it reminded me of those old MTG quizes in Inquest magazines. You would Always die next turn and you usualy had to do something special in one turn.

Yeah that thing is pretty darn safe. Put in a Grey Monk for +1 armor to everyone and it get's even more invulnerable.

Stuf like this is why I like Gateway to Dis...

They are pretty good. Even if they do not have complex combos the decks are balanced in a way that it's rare you don't have good stuff to do, no matter what your opponent is doing as opposed to some other decks that can be killers or useless depending on draw order or what the opponent has. I'd say starter decks are on the strong side of the spectrum.

Yeah, and they got lots of creatures too. (Think about 20) I haven't gotten them to the table yet, not because I don't like them, but because I got some funky decks I'm trying first: Like the Mars/shadows/logos one that has a maveric Gateway to Dis in Logos. And the other one  with oath of poverty and 7 artifacts. (sacrifice artifcats to get 2 aember) I swear some of these decks are almost theme decks.

  4. Stuff good decks have:

Lots of creatures (more creature-more reap-more aember)

Cards that get rid of one or, preferably, lots of cards

But you gotta have something that can remove aember from your opponents pool and/or something to stop them forging keys.

If you don't have that last part, if your opponent gets ahead in aember and keys it's almost over and done. Also: the feeling you get from having 10+ creatures out that can kill everything and reap tons of aember, only to realise there's nothing they can do to stop your opponent from turning his 6 aember into key nr.3 on his next turn, isn't a good feeling.

Dis and Shadow are the ones who are best at doing the last 2.

For a 3d House I'd pic Sanctum, because their creatures are harder to remove and they got some interesting ways to get hold of aember.

Not analogous to the card and rules we are talking about with Phase Shift. A better analogy would be this answer from mom, “You may have one cookie today.” When dad and grandma repeat this allowance, it doesn’t change mom’s pronouncement, they are just reinforcing it.

    How about combat pheromones?

You have 1 brobnar creature, 3 mars creatures, 1 mars artifact  and two combat pheromones (all ready). How many cards can you use that turn (when you choose brobnar)?

    1, 3 or all?

Once I get a response from my official rules submission, I will post it for all to see. Until then, I maintain that an ambiguity exists, and a legitimate argument can be made for both interpretations of the rule. That's all I'm trying to do. I'm not trying to say "my" way is the correct one. I want to be wrong. But I cannot ignore the fact that it could be read both ways, and should be clarified.

That pic should have been the end of this discussion.

No, having three of these in your hand would not enable you to play three non-Logos cards. The card specifically says you can play one. If you were to play it again, you can still only play one.

EACH card says you can play one.  Each card resolves seperatly.

    It's like this;

Kid asks: "Mom, can I take a cookie?" Mom says "Yes". Kid takes a cookie. Then:

Kid asks: "Dad, can I take a cookie?" Dad says "Yes". Kid takes a cookie. Then:

Kid asks: "Grandma, can I take a cookie?" Grandma says "Yes". Kid takes a cookie.

In the end how many cookies did the kid take? THREE.
