Summary of OP:  There are ships in this game that I haven't figured out how to use.  Thus, they are universally bad, no matter what tournament results or other players might say.  Also, FFG failed to make every single pilot card identical in power level, despite the fact that there are over 100 individual pilots.

I'm not sure I see the point of Etahn in the list. He will make the autoblaster shots get crits which can then be canceled by defensive dice. With autoblasters you want regular hits (booms) because they can't be canceled.

Edit: Also on a side note: why is the list called Corran's Golden Corral but does not include corran?

P.S. If you end up using this list a lot I think you should still call it Corran's Golden Corral just to confuse the crap out of people

Spending/acquiring a target lock is not an action and thus can be used as many times as you want or can in a turn.

If Fire control systems read: "After you perform an attack, you may perform a free target lock action." Then you're interpretation would be correct because you can only perform a specific action once in a turn.

When you perform a target lock action, you acquire a target lock. There are other ways in this game to acquire a target lock that don't require a target lock action.

Here's an example using a turn with corran horn and fire control systems:

    1. Corran executes his maneuver.
    2. For his action, Corran uses the target lock action against an enemy ship.
    3. During combat, corran attacks the target locked ship and spends his target lock to modify dice.
    4. After the attack resolves, corran can acquire a target lock on the ship he just attacked
    5. at the end of the round corran can chose to make his second attack. Let's assume he spent his target lock again.
    6. After his second attack resolves, corran can acquire another target lock on the ship. (assuming the ship has not been destroyed by now.)

Corran only used the target lock action once. but FCS allows him to keep acquiring a target lock at the end of every attack.

While no one can refute that boba's ability is cool. It also telegraphs your strategy that you'll want to be in range one of your opponents ships. You're opponent will probably try to minimize this ability as much as possible. Add to the fact two ship builds probably will not be forgotten once scum hits, how often will you have 3 or 4 enemies at range 1? Predator and lone wolf are still good options for boba because most likely you'll use it enough to justify the points. I'd take that over EPT's and crew that require actions to activate (Recon specialist, Marksman, ect.) because most likely you'll either bump with boba to get into range 1 or you'll get blocked and be denighed your actions anyway.

Hey quit stealing my build.  I won a Store Championship a few week ago with that exact build.  Two end game nightmares that your opponent has to deal with.  There are no good choices to kill.  Most people go after Corran first, and then realize that Chewy may be harder to kill.

Every now and then I'll see an interaction between two cards either on my own or on the forums that I never thought about before.

For me it was that munitions failsafe works with Hot Shot Blaster. I haven't tested scum yet and it might be too pricy of an upgrade but maybe being able to munitions failsafe it might make it more worthwhile.

Not sure if anyone else posted this yet but Guri might be a decent platform for advanced proton torpedoes.

Is there any card interactions you've recently come across that many probably haven't thought of yet?

Spending/acquiring a target lock is not an action and thus can be used as many times as you want or can in a turn.

If Fire control systems read: "After you perform an attack, you may perform a free target lock action." Then you're interpretation would be correct because you can only perform a specific action once in a turn.

I like those syck lists ideas. Not sure if the cannons will be cost effective (paying 2 points extra to get them on sycks seems fair but psychologically rubs me the wrong way sometimes.) I just came up with this list using a lot of the synergistic options the syck brings

Torkhil Mux (At the end of the Activation phase, choose 1 enemy ship at Range 1-2. Until the end of the Combat phase, treat that ship's pilot skill value as "0".) (19)

Tansarii Point Veteran wth predator, title (cannon) HLC (29)

Tansarii Point Veteran wth predator, title (cannon) HLC (29)

Serissu (When another friendly ship at Range 1 is defending, he may reroll 1 defense dice.) With stealth device. (23)

So basically if you fly it right you can get an opponent down to 0 PS (suck it phantoms) If you focus the TPV's they'll get a 4 attack, focused attack with 2 rerolls. There's no easy choice to target for your opponent. Serissu is tough to hit and he makes the other 3 tough to hit.
