My game had been complete Pathfinder Beravor with staff and axe Gimli with the 12 point defense instruction guardian card and then completely hunter. I use Gimli to sweep bad guys and Beravor to do the exploring and about 2/3 of the skill checks. Since she has access to the one card that can bring Gimli along to her space if she gets too far ahead.

I really like the cards that disrupt reaping. It can really throw a monkey wrench into the strategy of just reaping as long as your opponent doesn't have a creature that will devastate your gameplay.

I've found that sometimes Elusive actually worked against some of my creatures with examples being Collector Worm and Groke with Into the Fray.

In the campfire screen in the left lower corner is "Items". If you select it will show the Hero items. On top of the screen is a button "Group" for the group items, the Trinkets.

This certainly makes you sound like a jovial fellow.  I bet you're the hit of all the holiday parties.
There is no game on the face of this earth in which you will not, from time to time, be steamrolled. I wouldn't dare to imply that it should be 'fun' when you're getting lit up, but it's a game and sometime learning how to lose with dignity is part of life.
In this case, maybe there are more sides of the situation than just "Restringuntus is a terrible design choice."
If I see Restringuntus in a deck list, I'm trying real hard not to have a bingo hand that leaves me without options.  I can't always control it, but you do the best you can.  RG and FFG both have emphasized that part of the flavor of this game is the "Whoa! You could do that?" feeling.  Restringuntus, like him or not, contributes to that swingy flavor.  When he 'hits', he can dominate a game.  When he misses and someone's built their plan around him, he can be a big miss.
And, I seriously hope that, if you're willing to make comments like this, that you would naturally NEVER feel good about playing a particularly strong combo or card that makes you dominate a game.  After all, you don't want the other person to have a bad experience.

First thing I do after starting a game is looking up opponents deck so I know what sort of shenanigans I can expect, same as looking over the deck card at a tournament. It's not that weird that he would be able to know already. What baffles me how the guy thinks that deck would be cheating. I mean, who on earth would voluntarily add a Dexter to a cheat deck? (not to mention not have a bait and switch in shadows.)

Neutron shark is one of my favourites in my best deck. The ability to destroy artefacts and/or priority targets depending on the situation at the cost of one of your own creatures (often the shark itself) is great for a discard. It helps me thin out the deck, destroy artefacts that could be hard to deal with and is a play/reap/fight card and is fairly versatile. And you can end the effect by killing the shark itself.

I feel like Key Abduction is a great card that gets overlooked often. It has a ton of great options for use. You can bounce all of your opponents Mars cards back to their hand forcing them to play them again. You can reorganized your battle line/heal Yixix Dominators and such. Pair it with a hunting witch and you can get some fast aember. Save all your small guys from the Ammonia Clouds or the EMP Blast you need to play. And then sometimes you get to forge a key.

That. Or use lash to get 9 aember instead of 6. Bonus points is you use poltergeist to pop it on the Dis turn

I went to a pick your poison tournament (bring 2 decks and your opponent decides which one you play) I brought my best deck that looks really scary cause it had great cards and synergies that were easy to see, and then brought my best deck that looks way less scary but is still very good and almost everyone picked the second deck so I always picked my opponents deck that deck #2 would have an easier time with. Ended up playing 75% of my matches with deck #2 and it did great.
I always try to play at least 2-3 ganes with a new deck before deciding if I like it or not. Ended up getting really surprised with a deck with 3 full moons and 2 untamed creatures that had no phase shifts and it did surprisingly better than I thought it would.

My wife's deck uses Vespilon Theorist and other cards that archive the top of her library, which are helpful with manipulating Dextre around.

In my opinion Dextre is a middling card at best. I feel like he's useful sometimes but I usually would prefer any other Logos card. That changed when I opened my fist deck with a Neutron Shark. Now Dextre has this amazing use as the last card that I destroy with Neutron Shark to stop its effect. The risk of blowing up my useful cards even after I clear my opponents board is gone because when I destroy Dextre he goes to the top of my deck then gets discarded and stops the effect!
I just think it's so cool that even a card that feels out of place can sometimes do amazing stuff in the right situation and deck.
Anybody else have cards they thought would stink but the right deck made them shine?

    Worst Cards:
I would add Sacrificial Alter, because many do not seem to have 'human' cards.
I would also add biomatrix backup given the recent resolution.
    Epic Quest seem too difficult.
And Whispering Reliquary never excited me.

    Best Cards:
Bait and switch - its one of the best cards to punish an opponent with too much amber.
Shadow Self - Most power creatures are the weakest and tend to get killed.  Taunt does not protect against direct damage, but this does.
Arise - Nothing like getting a giant hand of creatures to play from your discard.
Mimic  - Its very versatile and very good.

I think its hard in this game.

You do not draw and keep the two chains.  If you had 5 cards in your hand you would not draw and lose one chain.

I think there are other cards in the set that would make the wording on this easier.

AutoCannon - "Deals one damage to each creature that enters play"
If you have two autocannons you would obviously deal two damage

Pile of skulls - Each time an enemy creature is destroyed during your turn a friendly creature may capture 1 amber.
If you have two of these it would obviously let you capture 2

Jehu the Beaurocrat - Each time you declare sanctum as your active house, gain 2 amber
If you had two of those, you would obviously gain 4 amber.

Customs Office - Your opponent must pay you one amber to play an artifact.  Having two of these  again would make your opponent pay 2 to play an artifact

I am curious why witch of the wild would be an exception to this logic...
I wouldn't be surprised if it was ruled differently, but if it was, I think we would certainly need a reason why.

I don't think you can choose an undamaged creature, c.f. a ruling on protectrix. She can't heal an undamaged creature solely to give it invulnerability. I think this is like fighting with no targets, if there's no damage you just can't heal.
But, note that nothing stops you healing enemies...
