  1. In case you guys were wondering, FFG customer service rocks. I had a missing piece in my Tantive IV set, emailed them about it, and they sent it out free with no questions in under 48 hours. This may not be the right place for this post, but who cares, I wanted to make sure everyone knows that you're covered when you buy products from these guys. Great job FFG, I'm gonna keep buying. Anyone else have a good experience with these guys?
  2. I definitely get that this was a later addition to the book, and I can see them not shoehorning it in. It just seems odd that its first appearance in a book is to go into an adventure instead of a rules expansion. You say it's also on the GM screen? I may have to pick that up. What section did it replace from the EotE screen?
  3. The AoR book just dropped, and I realize it's been written for a while now. However, the Arda I adventure specifically calls out that it provides "new rules" for mass combat. This seems like quite an oversight to leave out of the core book. Did I miss this rule set somewhere in the core? Are they planning to release these rules in a subsequent expansion? I haven't seen FFG leave rules out on purpose just to sell books, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. I never run prewritten adventures, so it would be wasteful for me to buy this whole book just for one page on rules that should be in a core or supplement somewhere. Anyone find this rule in the core or have any insight?
  4. All excellent suggestions. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. A lot of these things hadn't even occurred to me.
  5. The spirit of this game is to always say yes, but I find that I have a lot of trouble with this when it come to one of my players. He plays a slicer. Worse, he plays an over optimized slicer with 5 Intellect and 4 Computers plus Slicer talents to minimize difficulties and remove setback dice. And he insists that the whole galaxy should be set up like Watch_Dogs. He wants to slice enemy ships and vent their oxygen to space in a single round. I've explained to him that Star Wars technology is usually analog and that systems are disconnected from each other because it's all meant to last for centuries and be easily repaired because the galaxy is so huge and dirty and dangerous, but he isn't getting it. I also don't want to crush his character or turn this into a battle of wills. How have some other GMs handled this issue?
