Cheers,
Totally worth it though

If oicunn bumps into an enemy ship and lands on a rock doing so, can you use dauntless to do an an action?
And if so, I you used daredevil, thus landing on the rock again, would you roll a 2nd time for damage to self?
-
I'd have to agree with the above

Read this http://teamcovenant.com/immaterium/2015/03/12/a-closer-look-at-drea-renthal/
Great article.

Would you like some cheese with that whine?
-
The only thing is, how do you know if any of the other models from the bbbbz will fire at you, you might let 1 damage through and then no one else shoots at you, thus you have wasted the token.
Obviously if there is only 1 possible target fine, but that not always the case.
Anyway, Good Luck.

I was thinking of trying out
IG88-B(50 points): veteran instincts, advanced sensors , Autothrusters, HLC, dampeners, title
IG88-C(50 points): veteran instincts, advanced sensors , autothrusters, HLC, dampners, title

I just thought that they did it that way as otherwise the possible combos would make them in balanced.
Eg kir kanos with PTL.
Yes please

Firstly, the farlander points cost is actually 40
I like vi on Wes to make sure you can strip tokens, you could always add the stress bot, or the other one that allows you to TL and boost at range 1-2?
I also chuck in Jan with an ion cannon turret for a bit of control.
Hasn't lost yet, except for the first game in which I let Corran live to the end, came down to jan and Corran with 1 hp and 3 shields thanks to R2d2.
-
I like farlander with Hlc and opportunist.
Jan with ion cannon turret
Wes with VI
-
And let's not forget Garven
-
I just wonder if you'd want to be using expose after Biggs pops, which I imagine should be turn 2-3
whilst the extra red is nice, I'm not sure if you'd get much use out of it as you'd be only 1 green then, without all the shields of a B-wing
Worth a try though

To me, I read it as, if you can't attach, you can't use FA. It says instead of making any attack.
If you can't make any attack, you can't do something instead of it.

^^ that's what I was wondering

I did notice the different icons, though in the discription it just calls it an astromech.
Thanks you'll, confirmed my suspicions
-
Hi, was just wondering if rebels could use any of the astromechs that aren't scum only?

what about something like this:
Wes Janson
VI
R3-A2
Engine Upgrade
Keyan Farlander
Opportunist 4
HLC
Bandit
Bandit
Wes would move after phantoms, can strip tokens and cause stress, then farlander can roll 5 dice at it, if necessary.
or alternatively
Wes Janson
VI
Keyan Farlander
Opportunist
HLC
Jan Ors
Ion Cannon Turret

And they always will until Imps have ships that profit from Stress. (and beside Soontir there is none). And debris tokens are still relegated for casual play only. Disappointing. Would have been nice to have that added level of planning.
That people actually ask for them, shows me that there also (beside the fun part) might be an intention to use this in their advantage (which would favor more or less just one faction at the moment) and FFG sees that too...
Im pretty confident we will not see a legal use of Debris in tournaments until much much later...
That is one reason, but I think the big one is that they are not provided in the Core Set, and that would mean that people wishing to play in tournaments have to buy a specific expension beyond the core set, whether they intend to use the Outrider and Decimator or not, which seems to be against the ethos.
How is this any different than having to buy a certain expansion for certain cards?

^^ ditto

So that's 3 actions the first time and then 2 every other turn?
So about 8 game turns then?
-
Howdy,
Just after a bit of help for an up coming tournament of 120 points.
I'm not quite sure on the best way to run things as I usally play 100 pts and its not ideal to just tack on another 20 point unit.
So I have both rebels and imperials and at least one of evey model.
Preference towards rebels, so just wondering what everyone else was running.
Cheers

That's why you use, Yet another X-wing squad builder

Yeah, ignore that rule. Alex Davy himself allowed Paul Heaver to remove his YT-1300 model from its pegs temporarily during the final match of Worlds 2014. (If that video is still online, you can see for yourself.) Your local tournament organizer will allow it when necessary.

Correct, as long as the final position of the ship hS the entirety of the base inside the play area, you are fine.
Another question to add perhaps though, if you attempt to barrel roll and it would take you off the board, do you have to complete the move? Or would it be the same as landing on a rock when trying to barrel roll?
