It's better to try and add upgrades that you can always use and don't take up an action use. Such as advanced sensors or Predator.
I usually prefer more ships over upgrades as well, though you can get some nice combos going with the named pilots, which once again can be used without requiring an action, like Etahn or howlrunner etc.

So just wondering what people's layouts are for their plano tackle boxes.
Currently using 1 tray for rebel mini, 1 for imperial mini, 1 for templates and bases, base tokens and the other for upgrade cards.
Looking for a better layout if possible.

It's ig88Ds pilot ability that allows the hard turn - it's in the very first post bud
Ahh, so it is, I got distracted by all the pretty pictures, thought it might have been related to pilot ability. But couldn't see any reference to the card, nor was I able to see anything on google.

Here's my custom printed mat. I combined a few high dpi pics together on Photoshop and had the final result printed on vinyl by bannerbuzz.com.au. I'm very happy with the result. Just took it to my FLGS for a tournament and everyone thought it was very nice!

Hmm, in the last example you were doing a hard 3 turn, with a 180 degree turn at the end.
Could you please explain this, as I thought the s loop was just the 3 bank?

Nope.
Cards that have a bullet point on them can only be used in one instance,
Eg.
Luke in his. X-wing, so can't use him as crew in your same list.

Sounds familiar to my game the other day involving Mr. Fel.
First round, cpt. Yorr and fell roll all hits and kill Biggs.
Then ended up with 2 damaged blues vs full health Fel.
3 crits rolled to hit against him, all blanks, 2 direct hits and a minor hull breach. We laughed so hard at that.
If your going out, might as well go out in a bang eh.

Never give up, you never know how bad the other person may be doing, they might be thinking about giving up too.
Also being a dice game. You might roll very well and them all blanks, might not happen. But would make a great ending.
