In the game I run I decide what is canon.

(Star Destroyers are crewed by Gungan forced-labor, I just decided that right now.)

Vulf got a reaction from bradknowles in Do holocrons benefit non-Force sensitives?
You just need a force sensitive to activate a holocron. The force program inside can probably communicate normally with anyone in earshot.

The holocrons featured in the Force and Destiny Beginner game and Chronicles of the Gatekeeper are AI, in some cases the stored personalities of a jedi. They take the form of holograms that talk to the entire group, even droids. Any relevant skills can be passed on, but if it knows specific force-techniques, probably not available to non-force users.

But of course, GMs get final say.

My game has a Zeltron in it. The Inquisitor hounding the group!

    Also made a TIE-Advanced.

I'd prefer if they left it mysterious. We don't need any new revelations about how midichlorian radiation bombards the crystals and alters their hue...

Vulf got a reaction from lecudas in Cybernetics question....
If it increases your characteristic permanently, then yeah, you get that stat all the time.

Keep in mind some restrictions for raising stats though, such as only your starting Brawn gives you + wound threshold. Increases after character creation do not.
The armor augment that increases Brawn specifically says it does not increase your soak.
The Cybernetic arms and legs that increase Brawn do increase your soak, of course.

Cybernetics can increase a skill or characteristic one step beyond the normal limits. The cap for characteristics becomes 7, adding more cybernetics will not increase it further.

Ion grenades become a lot more threatening to your group, as they can temporarily disable cybernetics. Hitting a PC with one every now and then keeps the tension up in combat.

I had to make custom stats for a TIE Advanced so my Inquisitor could fly in style.

As presented in the X-wing miniature game, they are as nimble as a TIE-Fighter but with the durability, shields, and hyperdrive of an X-wing.
They use concussion missiles instead of proton torpedoes. I also gave them 1 open hardpoint as they are less spartan than a typical TIE.

I meant for my players to have a challenging encounter when they fled the imperial facility they were being kept as prisoners in...

    And then they stole it...

They would not since the two shotos are separate sources, so you could concentrate on maxing the defense on one saber and maxing the offense on the other.

This guy is definitely right. You should ABSOLUTELY NOT increase attributes with experience post character creation. It pretty much fracks up the whole game system.

The game works great the way it is.

It's the way you use powers that makes them good or bad.

Obviously it's good when you use them to break your bonds.

The Force will set you free.

Not tryna rain on your parade, but do not do this.

You will obliterate any chance of game balance.

This isn't a  system where the heroes are maxed out every stat, and allowing this will essentially be running your game in Cheat Mode.

If you listen to no other advice, listen to this.

A tip, I guess; Keep track of special characters, you might be able to get some more use out of them.

That dark side user that was drawn to the planet in the beginner adventure:

    That smuggler they meet:

    Chronicles of the Gatekeeper spoilers:

Long story short, my players never got in a fight with the super assassin Jedi-killing droids I designed, talked their way out of it.
Then one of my players lost an arm to a vibro-knife wielding minion. Rolled a freaking 103 on the crit table.

    This game is great.
