Sure, the rebels do steal imperial stuff. But they can't possibly steal everything.
It's frankly absurd that the rebels always have a technological edge in everything over the empire.

Some titles that are Punisher analogues of the TIE Defender titles perhaps.

Punisher/IT - You must have at least 2 empty upgrade slots. When performing a green maneuver, recover 1 shield. -3 points
Punisher/P - After you perform a primary weapon attack, you may gain a focus token and then perform an attack with a secondary weapon. 0 Points

Punisher/P - When you declare the target of your attack, you may acquire a target lock on the defender. When you receive a blue target lock token, assign a focus token to this ship. 0 Points

Ya know if you grow up things might not go over your head so much. What they are doing is making imps **** so they can shift tournament players to buy the new hotness. Imps were very hot, now scum is, rebs will likely be next. A lot of tournament players buy what they need not complete sets. I own all three factions and nerfs never deter me from buying what I want. I don't play tournaments and I don't care what they nerf I play it the way it was written on my tables, unless like the scyk it was a wording that always should have been. Thanks for trying to look cute though it was worth a laugh.

That's pretty disgusting. That ruins the experience for those who watch, and more importantly those who play and compete.

I understand 5 of the 18 careers don't have access to signature abilities yet, but in the meantime there are still plenty of ways to advance your character.

Skills, signature abilities, and the cost of buying a new specialization tree are determined by your starting career. The game is so open otherwise I don't think a little structure hurts things.

I wouldn't do it, I wouldn't allow it if I were GMing for this way lies madness and anarchy - and if I did allow it somehow, I'd still enforce the two per character, 1 per tree rule, but  it probably wont break the game.

You just described the bottom talent in Armorer.
You can commit Force die to give your armor the Cortosis quality at the cost of some strain each round.
This applies to ALL of your soak, Brawn + Armor.

Armorer is an amazing Specialization, everything in the tree is useful. That's the only drawback, your friends will be picking and choosing and you'll still be in your first tree while they might be starting a third.

Guardians have Armor Master through Armorer in Keeping the Peace.

Armorer also offers Guardians a chance to build an effective Brawn based character. And the new lightsaber construction rules in Endless Vigil can also benefit Brawn characters that want to use Double Sabers.

I keep buying all the Source and Destiny books and I have not been disappointed. I have used content from all of them in the game I run for my friends.

If the GM wants to create Docking Clamps that could work too. I would definitely make each one take up a hard point on the ship, and for that, removing 4 guns off of a Gozanti seems like a fair compromise.
Even docking clamps have to take up some internal structure. That way it could carry a max of 4 ships, whether they had silhouette 2 or 3.

Unless they exist in a book and I am missing it?

The Imperial Gozanti does not have those 4 side laser batteries anyway, it has docking clamps and the top and bottom turrets. It is less of an assault ship and more of a transport.

The Gozanti fits the bill for your players, but it is slow. If you want it to be more than a cargo ship or fighter-transport, modify it into the Imperial Gozanti:

    +1 speed, +1 Handling
Increase the rear shields by 1 and remove 1 hard point
    +25% price

Remove the 4 port and starboard laser batteries, (gaining 4 hard points) and replace them with a total of 2 Retrofitted Hangar Bays.
Upgrade the Dorsal and Ventral turrets into stronger lasers. The Imperial Gozanti seems to have fewer but stronger weapons.

This is assuming you give your players a chance to steal it. Might be impossible to purchase it through normal channels.

*edit: I meant +1 handling, got them backwards. The Imperial Gozanti has a much stronger Engine and that should be reflected in the handling.

Maybe for individual skills. GMs can always design their own pieces of gear.

    0. Or rather, null. You cannot buy characteristic increases (Brawn, Agility, Intellect, Cunning, Willpower, or Presence) after character creation. The only way to increase your characteristics after CharGen is by purchasing ranks in the Dedication talent, which is typically a bottom-tier talent in most Specializations.

    The Wayfarer Class Medium Transport:

It has the largest encumbrance of any Medium Freighter currently available in the books at a whopping 850.
    It's price is a measly 120,000 credits.
It has a fair passenger compliment of 6.
It's Sil 5, meaning a hanger can be hooked right in.
It has the second highest hardpoint amount of any Medium Freighter (though this is shared by a few others)
It is located right in the Core Rulebook.
It just looks unique and interesting in my opinion.

And here is the inner layout of the ship itself, definitely enough room for a shuttle and more (Headhunters not included )

As for published adventures I would love for about 6 complete ones in deep world cities like Nar Shaddaa and Coruscant. They could include some extra playable races and gear in adventure books, like how playable Sathari are featured in Chronicles of the Gatekeeper.
