  1. That's the way I've planned to run dash except with nein numb and using the points to give wedge R3A2, gives dash a little more movement options if something is getting in his bubble and wedge makes getting in the bubble Very unappealing
  2. I think, pilot skill being equal, a fat Han has an advantage over dash. Han could routinely find himself in Dash's bubble and offers consistent damage to go with superior damage mitigation.
  3. I'm looking forward to running predator and recon specialist on a pair after S&V comes out. Until then got my 2nd firespray for the same reason you did plus vet instincts.
  4. I saw Nathan at worlds Corran Horn list but I disliked the lack of ps9 so I came up with this Wedge Antilles 29 R3A2 2 Engine Upgrade 4 Jake Farrel 24 Chaandaran refit -2 A wing test pilot 0 Push the limit 3 Outmaneuver 3 Biggs Darklighter 25 Bandit squadron 12 The idea is to setup for a joust like a standard Biggs list and then break Jake off with a long bank or k turn to stay behind the other side. I've had a couple thoughts including possibly dropping wedge to to Luke plus Vi and r2d2 for better late game performance and using the two points to make jake tycho but I like wedge for the extra firepower. I'm a little worried about how this list will deal with bloated decimators but I love it for phantoms and dash. The tourney I'll be running it in is 75 minutes so I like my chances against fat Han and swarms as well. All feedback and suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks! Edit: I've been told that many folks in my meta run swarms, does this list have enough to deal with swarms? Or should I drop engine upgrades on wedge to give him predator and upgrade my bandit to a tala?
  5. The thought occurred to me that I could also swap wedge with porkins using vi, cracken doesn't really do anything in this list aside from being a fire magnet. I could upgrade him to a rookie for more hull and attack
  6. This is awesome, I'm going to show it to my friends who are new to the game. although there is no list for "Four Blues" I'm assuming its 4 blues with advance sensors correct?
  7. The list is much less effective when you forget about tactician entirely
  8. The list has floated through my mind several times but I'm not sure how i feel about that combo of only three ships, Corran is elusive but I'm not sure the rest of the list punishes your foe enough for focusing on him
  9. I'm getting ready for my first tourney on the 18th and I don't even have a list nailed down yet! Right now I'm leaning towards the following Wedge Antilles 29 R3a2 2 Blue squadron 22 B wing e/2 1 Tactician 2 Blue squadron 22 B wing e/2 1 Tactician 2 Airen Cracken 19 I like the lists jousting capabilities and I think the stress in it along with the wedges high Ps will let me deal with phantoms and fat dashs. While I usually like to take a mobile ship like corran for the rebels or sootir/whisper for the imps I'm guessing ill see a number of decimator/rebel captives and I think those wont be terribly problematic for this list. I am worried about the overall firepower of the list at only 11 red die and the lack of a good late game option. I'd love some feedback
  10. I was going to suggest the same. I feel gunnner and predator are sort of redundant on the decimator. One is definitely a must though! Just not both. Maybe drop gunner for rebel captive and jerrijod?
  11. I see the merits of including control elements in standard lists, particularly stress. The full rebel control list has looked interesting too. A friend of mine will sometimes play Ys with r3a2 and ion turret, its frustrating to go against. To me though they still seem vulnerable to phantoms and thier ilk though
  12. Those are all awesome questions id love to hear an answer to
  13. Cracken is the one im unsure about, I like him, but whenever I play him he dies super fast, I rarely run anything other than VI or hill upgrade on him. With that list you could actually make it really hard for your opponent to hit anything. I'd consider swapping cracken with maybe a loaded green squadron or Jake Farrell.
  14. Autoblasters I thought could be useful on an interceptor type ship that has the ability to get in close but out of arc.
  15. Seems fun and durable. It's tough to beat tarn with R7 for late game though
  16. Double falcon builds get me, I usually run four ship rebel lead by wedge and if I don't get my attack vector right it's brutal. For imps I run kath with whisper or Soontir and some ties, that goes even worse.
  17. VI VS EU is really the big thing with this list. Really don't know which one is better tbh. Determination once removed 5 crits from me and has never removed less then one. But with VI on RAC I would have a sure-thing phantom killer plus possibility of EU being more valuable if I come up against a high PS list. You said that you like Gunner on Whisper, I do to with FCS but what would you remove in order to add it? There's another advantage to VI RAC, you shoot before your own whisper. I've been running a Kenkirk/Whisper list and rebel captive is a serious issue for me. Determination is so good though
  18. I've been using Doug Kinneys drunken shark with the two blocks of ties, I found it's a ton of fun. It takes a little practice though, like any swarm to learn some of the necessary maneuvering.
  19. Probably going to keep it simple, I'm on a tighter budget so 1-2 most wanted and 1-2 starviper for now.
  20. I definitely like this idea, gotta include some offense on the decimator from experience unless you're playing Chirnaeu. Gunner becomes an auto if you run determination, which isn't a bad combo anyway.
  21. I think secondary weapons are functioning just fine as is right now. FFG has done a great job balancing them within the rules that they have laid out. I see people take HLCs with mixed results pretty regularly which is a good thing. HLC is not the reason fat dash is so good, the hlc makes it worth all that action economy, but if dash were a normal 3 dice ship people probably wouldn't pony up for outrider +hlc. Ion cannons seem to work ok as well. I never manage to find points for them but I know people who will use spare points and give ions to their Bs and defenders to help them at range 3, trading potential damage for higher probability of hitting, which is a great game mechanism IMO. Autoblaster could maybe use a buff, I don't see it used much even after the rules buff. The turrets would certainly benefit from this since none of them can hit range 3 right now anyway it would be fun to throw 6 dice with an ion hog y wing, but like I said the ships are already gaining attacks when they get turrets. And ordinance is probably beyond saving anyway. An interesting idea from the OP but I think secondary weapons are functioning just fine right now.
  22. My birthdays at the end of January, when the imperial epic got announced I told my folks I wanted the CR90. This was like three days ago. Apparently they got express shipping cuz I got a CR90 today. Totally surprised and thrilled
  23. I think it was Nathan the kid at worlds who ran a list of Biggs with hull, corran with r2d2 ptl fcs and shield upgrade and 2 talas if I recall
  24. From my experience any information gotten by bothans is generally useless
  25. Well, in that case you need to chill out a bit and stop taking little plastic toy games so seriously. His point was that its infuriating to see people make claims and not attempt to back them up or use small sample sizes and anecdotal evidence. It's a fair assessment of most arguments.Completely unrelated to the first paragraph. I don't like the idea of giving xs barrel roll, you wanna keep it different from the b wing. But with respect to the tie advnced fix, giving them expert handling for free would be hilarious
