I agree with Blail for the most part. Maybe they're just previewing too early but as i've said before most people don't even have yt2400's rebel aces or vt49's in hand but here we are with the curtain blown off of the next wave. I would not have objected at all had Scum and Villany been q1 15

I've been thinking about using Luke as a flanker with one of the following setups Luke +r2d2 Luke+r7+ lone wolf Luke+r7+predator Luke+r5p9+lone wolf The idea with R7 is that since you essentially get a defensive focus you can keep taking target locks offensively and use them defensively to further frustrate your opponent. Next time i play i'll be using him with wedge+stay on target roark garnet +ion cannon bandit/tala depending on lukes point cost or maybe bandit and giving wedge r4-d6. presumably ill start with luke with r2d2 I'm really looking forward to using that list, its thematic with elements of Rogue Squadron which is what i've wanted since i've started this game and I think it can at least hold its own against falcons and phantoms

Ran a couple games with Wedge 29 Engine upgrade 4 Kracken 19 Vet instincts 1 Corran horn 35 Dagger squadron 12 It was supposed to be an anti phantom list, krackens veteran instincts let horn barrel roll to a better place if need be. I've changed it up a bunch since including removing the E wing all together. I'm looking forward to the yt2400 I'll be running wedge with stay on target, maybe horn will make it in as his wingman

Inertial dampeners is an illegal upgrade, so not fittable in interceptors.It must be the other upgrade: "AUTOTH---", presumably "autothrusters" or something like that. that was my second guess. The dampners show a ship that can fire a direction other than forward getting hit from behind.

based on art alone in guessing the card got interceptors is inertial dampners.My biggest concern is that ffg is releasing too fast. Most of us don't have aces or the new big ships in hand and what seven more just got previewed?

Elite pilot talent, unique rebel only. Adds an additional elite pilot talent (he's a voice in the pilots head) discard obi wan and gain a focus token. So it lets Luke and other elite rebels take him. Doesn't prevent them from doing other elite pilot stuff. Maybe make it require ps5 or higher so you don't have green a wings taking it.

Fixed forward ion turret. Gives the y wing 5 attack but only three can count as hits. On a more serious note I'm curious to see what the new z95s look like. I routinely play all four zs which probably makes it the only ship besides the tie fighter and b wing that I use more than two versions of. Maybe they'll run renamed reprints?

Since fire control system is being discussed here I'd like to add a question about it. Can a ship with a stress token acquire a target lock through fire control system?

It would still have to be fighter based and packaged the same but yes. Star trek didn't seem interesting to me, but something similar to x wing based on modern military fighters would be awesome, a 40k variant would sell me as well, starfox would also get my attention. The packaging was just as important to me as the star wars, I didn't wanna mess around with booster packs or un built/painted models.

Thank you. though I believe that Prequel ships should be a separate game. Totally different time frame. Just my humble opinion. It's twenty years! The technology in Star Wars has been the same for at least 1000 years (see Knights of the Old Republic), as if 20 makes any difference. I have always suspected that the start of a new hope represented an incredible time of technological advancement for military technology.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the switch many of us have made. There's definitely a rotation to the models for availability so pick em up when you can. People have mentioned it before but Barnes and noble sometimes has back stock or is slower to sell out of a product.

It let's you move before everyone else, really nice for blocking and k turns.

Depends on what you want to do with the lost, although I am with many others that mauler does a great job as flanker. You can also run dark curse and/or night beast are my favorites for their survivability

If armada came out first id be jumping to x wing, I really like the small fighter l/squadron oriented aspect of x wing, that's what drew me in and will probably keep me here.
