I'm going to my first tournament tomorrow. It's only a small shop one with 8 people, but I'd still like to get at least one win. I've made two squads that I like but I can't decide which to use. I do have some info on 3 squads I might face: VCX-100 with TLT, Ray, Ghost Attack Shuttle with Phantom ARC-170 with Gunner and R3-A2 Upsilon Shuttle (Kylo Ren) with General Hux and Swarm Leader 2 Defenders with TIE/x7 Parratani with Manaroo swapped out in favour of Old Teroch These are my two builds: My feeling about the Rebel list: Lots of Autothrusters for the double TLT VCX-100 Good regen against the TLTs and lower damage ships Can handle stress pretty well Has four 3 die attacks to try to burn through tokens Doesn't care about General Hux/Kylo Ren Either X-Wing can be burned down by the Swarm Leader Upsilon Shuttle. I'm not sure I can burn through loads of tokens with just 3 die attacks. My feeling about the Imperial list: Soontir and OL are good at finishing off Defenders and Protectorats OL is good at getting through loads of tokens The tractor beam helps me kill quickly due to -1 agility or can force a token use The tractor beam can often stop a ship shooting by sticking it on an asteroid I out PS most of the ships, including Soontir beating Fenn Rau due to me having 99 points and him 100 The greatest concerns for this list are: Soontir could die to General Hux and he has a problem with all the stress the opposing lists pump out, dodging the ARC-170 is tricky when it can double stress me out it's backside. OL is pretty squishy against the TLTs and Swarm Leader Upsilon Shuttle. Any thoughts on which would seem better?

From all I have read controlling 4 heroes seems like the best from a balance perspective. The trouble is that means dealing with a lot of cards in total for all the heroes which sounds like it would get overwhelming, especially to someone who isn't a dedicated gamer. On the other hand controlling two makes them very powerful and extremely mobile. As a compromise between the two extremes using 3 heroes seems fairly attractive. The +3 health is nice but isn't a huge change. The double activation makes one hero very fast, but if they sprint off the other two single activation heroes will be left behind. Has anyone played the campaign with 3 heroes and can offer their thoughts about it?
