  1. Honestly, the only thing I have a problem with is their refund policy. You have to pay in advance and cannot get your money back if you cancel after a week before the event. $25 is a lot of money to not give back. I could understand if the store was going to be out of money because of your cancellation, but it isn't The event is not going to run un-filled. There is a waiting list. This means the store will charge someone else on the waiting list an additional $25 dollars and then have your $25 for nothing. No services were rendered. It already blows when you have to cancel for something you were really looking forward to but that is just salt on the wound. Not giving a refund is either a way to rack up a little bit more $$$ or just a penalty for something sh*tty happening in your life. Either way, it sucks...
  2. I love my Salvation with Xi7, but it's the diciest ship in the game. One concentrate fire can range 0-8 damage, and unfortunately I've seen a lot more zeroes than eights... Raymus doesn't make it on board because he is too busy on my Assault Frigate making it an unstoppable killing machine. Also, while tempting, never choose your Salvation as your advanced gunnery ship. It just goes down too easy when focused on and gives your opponent a ton of points. In my experience, the Salvation loves to slink behind a bigger, more "threatening" ship and pot shot into the battle.
  3. You may want to rethink that strategy. 9 times out of 10 I would be willing to trade a point of damage on one of my fighters for a point of damage on your Star Destroyer. It can definitely be worth it in particular situations but I wouldn't do it often.
  4. For Rebels, 44 points of Awings (4 squads) can't be beat. Speed 5 helps them tie up anything, counter gives them a little more punch, and that black die (75% hit) can really put a hurt on ships if left unchecked.
  5. Can you show a nav command, take it as a token (for Wulf purposes), and spend the token the same turn you took it so you can engine tech?
  6. I love the Salvation... But because I am a gambler. It is the diciest ship in the game. I once rolled 8 damage on a concentrate fire, and I've rolled 0 damage... More than once.
  7. That's what I thought. Seems a little counterintuitive but it is what it is. Thanks!
  8. How do fighters factor into a ship collision? Say you try to make a speed two manuever. The ship you overlap has fighters touching it so you would overlap the fighters too. When you slow down to speed one due to collision rules you do not overlap any of the fighters. Do they move at all? Or, say there are fighters all over the front of a VSD. The VSD tries a speed one manuever but collides so is forced to speed 0 and not move at all. Do the fighters that the VSD drove through to collide move at all? Thanks!
  9. Looking at the Wave 2 preview, it doesn't look like there will be any repeat cards from Wave 1. Xi7 coming in just the Neb B is just cruel...
  10. Unfortunately, right now the only Rebel ship that can take Ion cannons is the CR90B.
  11. Admiral Screed easily wants the Dominator. It shores up the range weaknesses of the VSDI quite nicely and also helps protect your sides and rear. 4 attack dice at a flanking Corvette is nothing to sneeze at. As a Rebel player, I would rather see Warlord across the table instead of Dominator any day of the week.
  12. If you look at the old spoilers of the game, the VSD had two anti squad dice and the Neb B had 3. The cards very well could be inaccurate.
  13. I find Dodanna's Pride one of the best upgrades in the game. Either your opponent rightfully fears it and diverts an abundance of resources to your little Vette or you are getting crit backstage time and again. For just 4 points more, Leading Shots almost guarantees you will land a shield ignoring crit on every shot. Clocking in at a total of 49 points this ship is a steal. Don't leave home without it
