    I agree with the chewbacca shot but thats it  the little knick finn gave him was nothing, and toying with her is fine he should have still been able to crush her when needed

    Yeah, I totally did not see any of that in the movie.  There was no explanation about why he didn't like Han, no explanation why he was with Snoke, and the thing with Vader didn't make a whole lot of sense.  "show me again?"  That would imply that Vader showed him something at some point to justify his bad actions, which would completely invalidate Vader's redemption.

    But it's all there.

     

    Ren's interactions with Han show why he didn't like him. He wants to embrace the Dark Side completely, his connections to family hold him back from that. We're literally told this in the movie.

    He wants to show that he's competent and makes assumptions about what he's capable of that end up falling short.

    We don't need to know what he means by, "show me again," his remarks and the fact that he dresses like Vader (even emulating his helmet / voice modulator for cosmetic reasons, only to be called out on it) tell us what we need to know about how he perceives Vader.

    Ren is with Snoke for training and as a guide to the Dark Side, their interactions make this really clear.

     

    I get why people are disappointed with aspects of TFA, but Ren is very well executed from a character perspective. We get more nuance and substance in a couple of his scenes than we did with Anakin across the three prequels. Yes, he's immature, emo, and falls short of his potential. He's supposed to.

    I think Ben Solo/Kylo Ren is by far the best and most interesting character of TFA. Adam Driver has the perfect look for him and plays him perfectly.

     

    I believe he is a interesting but bad character. He was trained by luke and from what the jedi are all bout this likey started at a early age. He then abandoned the light side (mostly) and is being trained by snoke who we are led to believe is quite powerful also. Yet this guy who was trained by what are most likely the 2 strongest force wielder currently in the galaxy cant defeat a girl who either A) has force amnesia or B) just figured out she had it. That bothers the hell out of me. Yes i know he got shoot by chewbacca yes he was not at 100% but him at 60% should have been enough to crush her. That being said i did enjoy the movie  and will always be a die hard star wars fan. Oh and another thing i thought was stupid was how Poe dameron shoots down 10 fighters in 10 seconds (give or take)  i dont have a problem wiht him being a great it jst makes it seem like he is heads and tails better than everyone else except maybe lando since he flew through the death star. Isnt ankakin supposed to be the greates pilot ever? jw

    Always seems like there are new jedi comming out with fancy eenhancements. And there are way more jedi than sith. Didn't the sith annihilate almost all of them? The way it's portrayed in this game you would think the jedi executed order 66.

    With that being said I don't think the jedi are OP. But why can't the sith have enhancements as good as trust your feelings. Or soresu or makshi training? They practice too. Or a old Bens spirit. (They could make it old Banes spirit)

    Then the sheer number of jedi

    2x (soon to be 3) Yodas

    2x Lukes (so on to be 3)

    If I have 2 security checkpoint enhancements does that mean all my units commuted to the force would have edge 2? Or does it not compile? Also if I attack and objective with the executor and my opponent plays the even card confronting terror, and I have other units not in the battle could I just resolve the damage against the executor and have nothing happen or does it have to go on units not that aren't the exeutor? (Executor undamaged of course)

    I made a thread a little while ago saying the rebels seemed so much better. I was wrong. I bought the tie bomber to add to my collection and now the only thing for the imps I don't have is the shuttle but the tie bomber is fantastic. It literally turned every game I've played with it on to a victory except for one close loss. Cluster missles on advanced proton torpedos nothing but a very lucky e wing at range three through a asteroid has a chance. I now like the imperials.

    I might add that the problem for imperials is a problem of choice. The stylistic benefits of imperial ships are choice. They have tools that give options. If used poorly, those choices can get you killed. If you choose evade instead of barrel rolling out of arc, you made a mistake that might get you killed.

    Rebels in general have fewer choice giving tools as far as getting out of danger go; however, they have more choices for buffing type effects.

    plenty of the rebel ships can barrel roll and boost too. And with the new rebel aces coming out soon I can only imagine them getting better

    My gf flies imperials exclusively & kicks my tail about 50% of the time. She doesn't typically play swarms either but more elite lists. My god does she make excellent use of advanceds & interceptors! I think our last two non epic games she actually had fewer ships than I & I don't zwarm.

    I need to consult your girlfriend asap if she has this down. She clearly knows something I'm clueless about

    The lack of shielding sucks too but I'm not gonna complain about that as I have overcame it enough but the imperials don't have anything that equates to a R2. Lol I've seen (in tournament) a all interceptor list and all of them got a critical damage withing the 3rd turn. Also you can get a Z95 for the same price as a academy tie. Maybe it's one more id have to look but I think that's a little messed up

    The swarm lets you fly into your oponent's teeth, which is something the tougher rebel ships can also do, so if your games are jousts then swarm imps will fly like rebels. So if you favor thst tactic, yes Rebels are better at it.

    Imps are meant to be slippery. Use an anchor, like a firespray or shuttle, then flank with a mix of whatever else, defenders, phantoms, tie mini swarm...

    The two factions fly very different, take time to learn the imps before you rage quit them.

    I will admit the games I win that are not swarm usually involve at least one defender. That's a great ship.

    It takes more than a minute to play the game...  and you definitely can't play 5 games in just a minute unless your just that horrible at the game

    I didn't mean 1 through 4 mins I meant I only win 1 out of 4 games with the imperials

    I've been playing this game for a minute now and it really seems like the rebels are simply better. Superior shields almost all around. 360 degree arcs with the falcon. Astromechs. Every time I play imperial I get smoked by them I have a 1-4 win rate as imperial and I'm not lacking content. I have everything but the tie bomber and shuttle. The only time I win is when I just do a tie swarm with howlrunner and in my eyes is the only thing they have going for them and that's what everyone runs in tournaments Maybe I'm just missing some huge part of the game. But basically I'm only going to play rebels from now on.
