I own one of everything with exceptions of: alliance rangers, captain terro, ISB inf. I have two of those guys My storage solutions would make people cry... I put as many of my painted minis in individual wooden slots, but some aren't so lucky, they get put in plastic bags... together. I also don't sleeve my stuff. I put all my tiles in the hoth box, I put all skirmish related content and some of my other minis in the jabba's box, and everything campaign related goes in the core box, along with the majority of my miniatures.

To be fair, most people in this universe take a shot to the shoulder and die! This makes boba extra special

We are due for another harmful condition if we wish to return to the original ratio!

Replacement tokens, tiles & cards due to loss/damage.

Those are excellent! i've been using my for close to a year now. they just feel fantastic! -
I think that their choice of release characters for rebels is currently fine. Usually a box set will have 1-2 named people per faction. Hera and Chopper are great choices as they often don't go on ground missions, well chopper does but I think he is good to pair with Hera and there are still plenty of the ghost crew to choose from. The inquisitor would have made a great boxed villian, but there are still plenty of other choices.

BT-1 and 0-0-0 preview is up
MadFuhrer replied to Rogue Dakotan's topic in Star Wars: Imperial Assault
you are comparing a 6 cost figure to a 9 cost group; not quite equal footing. it is best to compare him to regular stormtroopers who are the same price point. I still think it is a fair comparison as you have 9 health to 10 health, possible 3 attacks vs possible three attacks, the stormtroopers will get rerolls probably. and, it WILL take 3 attacks to kill the stormtroopers, where bt-1 can go down in 2 attacks in the current "meta". he is an interesting figure no doubt, but I will wait to see him in game to call him OP. -
It's FRIDAY!!!!! Who will we see spoiled today??
MadFuhrer replied to FSD's topic in Star Wars: Imperial Assault
don't forget that BT-1 can also use maximum firepower! also, his minimum range is 3, with a max range of 10. you can be pretty confident in a 5-6 range shot. -
I would greatly argue that eISBs are solid units and that they should atleast be in the viable tier. They give you access to spy cards and with 6 health on a white die they often take 2 attacks to kill. their surges are amazing, and if you are smart about it can get 3 attacks out of two figures a round!

I've played a three activation list before at a tournament. went 2-1. Practice with it. I've said it before that you can make anything work if you try hard enough at it.

Are royal guards useful?
MadFuhrer replied to SummonMoreZiggurats's topic in Imperial Assault Skirmish
I won a local tournament and have been doing fairly well in a vassal tournament that is currently running with a set of eRGs. If you like something, find a way to make it work. -
If you buy the game and you enjoy what there is now, is it really a waste? If it is good currently and you enjoy it, will you regret what you already have because of the new stuff that comes out? Don't decide to buy into this game looking at the future unless you plan on being a hyper competitive skirmisher. Look at what there is now and decide if the price suites your taste. This game is extremely modable and can tailor to your tastes. Currently the content is great, and that is all that should matter right now.

Imperial Deck Advice - Tech Superiority
MadFuhrer replied to VryMadHatter's topic in Imperial Assault Campaign
When I played tech support (during my first ever campaign) it was a blast... once I got some xp. I never picked up tech support because the only droids were probe droids at the time. I picked up cloaking device to start, because two dice defenses with a chance to dodge are completely awesome. then I picked up arc blasters because the ability to AoE stun was too good to pass up. at some point they will fail their strength check! Then I picked up superior augments. the rebels were rightfully scared of basic troops with all the attached goodies. I think my last pickup was jetpacks, just so I could get one more attachment. I loved the deck. It is a slow starter, but can really pick up! -
Let's talk about the Jedi Bantha (New Luke)
MadFuhrer replied to Inquisitorsz's topic in Imperial Assault Skirmish
BT-1, but yes, I have also thought of that combination. Looks fun on paper, but the odds of rolling max damage are slim. -
Did you buy IA to play Campaign or Skirmish? POLL
MadFuhrer replied to FrogTrigger's topic in Star Wars: Imperial Assault
I bought in entirely for campaign. for me, skirmish was an afterthought. It is what I end up playing mostly at this point, but I bought for campaign. -

MadFuhrer replied to Inquisitorsz's topic in Imperial Assault Skirmish
they are one of my favorite units, but i haven't been playing them much recently. so many good new toys to play with. in theory they would be good, but the auto surge block really hurts. -
RGC is a fantastic unit. One of my favorites! also I love the 4 sets of regular storms. people underestimate how much damage they can do!

Star Wars: Imperial Assault - Twin Shadows Expansion
MadFuhrer replied to themattman's topic in Imperial Assault Campaign
FFG is pretty aware of which of their product sells and are good about keeping things in stock, or atleast, reprinting. If things are selling for more than their MSRP, just wait for the reprint. I know it can be hard, but hang in there, it will come around. -
4 preview cards, Chopper, Hera, Jawa and IG88 fix

OMG explosive armaments on bt-1. That... that is scary to think about! -
4 preview cards, Chopper, Hera, Jawa and IG88 fix
MadFuhrer replied to KnightHammer's topic in Star Wars: Imperial Assault
how does this limit his movement? if anything you could think of him as a 7 movement 1 attack figure. that in itself isn't shabby especially since you can pick 2 of your dice. it also allows you to get off more of your assault attacks. I'm just sad that he can't bring other attachments with him. I will miss the recover though. -
Covenant video: IG-88 gets a fix
MadFuhrer replied to Leveton's topic in Star Wars: Imperial Assault
I like what they did with him tbh, but I wish that it wasn't an attachment as that locks out other attachments for him. -
I disagree, an urgnaut by itself can contest two terminals because the junk droid contests control for them. then your opponents have to waste an attack on the junk droid or not get their command card.

The agenda set with hera is a mistake I think. That is the tuskan raider agenda set. From what we see i think the jawa and hera look good for their points, but i'm anxious to see how BT-1 pans out. Who would be a good to compare him to from new releases? I think the self focus is a little over the top and that he will be a bargain for his points.

I mean, the goal of every class deck is either to wound all the heros or slow them down enough. HC just makes it a neon sign of which players the imp needs to target.
