I mean, is it the force friday announcement if they dated it for yesterday?

and you have to think what was actually useful previously to consider it power creep. comparing new stuff to old stuff that was never used to begin with isn't power creep.

In my area we have played tournaments using these maps printed on vinyl. We all get them from the same source, so the community usually accepts them. I've used them at one of our regionals, but it all depends on the TO.

ok, hear me out, the rSentries will probably see very little play in skirmish; however, if we go to campaign, you have to think of attachments to groups. getting 4 shots of arc blasters, or adding the +1 damage from combat veterans. sure, they get the -1 damage but when they make 4 attacks, and with their pierce 2, if you are facing black dice heros, their output will be pretty good.

I'm actually really happy about the riot troopers! I think that for 5 points, they are a pretty decent buy and their damage output should be decent for their price point. I almost wish I could bring them into mercs for my trandoshan strain list XD. I really want to see the elite version of the cards though! I think the elite sentry droids are going to have huge changes since they are 10 for 2.
If I recall correctly, the elite clawdite adds a yellow die to its attack pool, which will actually make the senator version a very potent support that also has the spy trait, not to mention the increased likelihood to use the streetrat assassination.
I think that drokkatta will be a big hit, we haven't seen anything with a decent blast 2 on a reasonably costed and effective figure.
Jerrod will need to be used with finesse, but he is someone I would send off by himself to fight over some objective, say a shield generator or a stash on jabba's. As a person who loves to use eRGs, the auto surge block really adds to his effective health, and I think he will be able to stick around longer that people think. He also has a really large effective attack range of 8 spaces away, which is just shy of ahsoka and luke at 9. I think he will go really well with ahsoka and davith to make some sneaky melee oriented spies.
Ko-tun will be a decent support/sniper. I think that if white dice become more prevalent, then her stocks will rise, much as sorin's are rising with all the new droids and vehicles that are coming out.
Overall, I'm really exited for this wave. You will still see alot of hunters, and spies have been pretty good since blaise, but they are going to get even more toys to play with, making them a top contender. If spies are running around, I don't know if we will see some troopers to hit them, or if their days are done.

could chewie now slam twice in 1 activation since he isn't using an action for the first slam?

Quite honestly, I like the grid based movement and snappiness that IA has. This Game looks cool and all, but I don't see myself getting it.

coordinated attack is once per group per round sadly, so no four attacks.

I really like the eISBs. I know people like to throw flak at them, but I believe that in the right hands they are very strong. They take some practice to play well, but once you get them down they can rock.

Another thing you want to consider when getting expansions if you are playing as the imperial, is the imperial class decks. It's a joke between my friends that the twin shadow's class deck is called "un-inspiring leadership". I've liked the classes from all of the other expansions, but heavies are a pretty solid six point group to bring.

I still don't think Boba Fett is going to be one of the fixes. I just don't. That being said, I don't much care for the blister pack announcement so much as the unit announcement for what is in the box. I want to know what all of those units do and its hurts me to just speculate without no news or idea what they actually do :(.
-
Make gideon and 3po only able to focus rebel units. boom, done.
-
One thing about playing without command decks though is that it guarantees 3 damage on the force choke, and luke doesn't get his super strong command card. SoS makes luke the beast that he is; without it, he is strong, but goes down to tier 2 imo.

Yea, they really hit the royal guards hard, as they needed to in the early days. If you have played them nowadays you know how absolutely swingey a RY attack roll with no rerolls can be. They are still usable, but very niche. The officers needed the change TBH.
If they were to change the sabs again, I would take away overload and give them 2 surges for pierce 2 and one surge for blast 2.

21 minutes ago, Fightwookies said:Boba and IG-88 both came in blister packs. The fix for IG came in the jawa pack. That seems to be an example of a pack affecting something from another pack
But Ig-88 is a Core box character. He is wave 1. Expansions are all based on what comes in the expansion + wave 1 units. Vader is wave 1, same with Han.

4 hours ago, HoodieDM said:The good thing too Alexander75 is that they already did this with IG-88 and Focus on the Kill upgrade card that came with him from the Jawa exp pack. Rumor is (besides Vader) we will get two other iconic chars from Wave 1-3 with similar Skirmish Upgrades. Hopefully that inc Han Solo and Boba Fett!

I don't think it will be a boba fett fix sadly. He desperately needs it, but there has never been expansion that has affected other expansions (yet). Maybe some tiles here or there, but nothing outside of that. Since Boba is from twin shadows, they would have to set a new precedent.

Has there been any discussion on what people think the emperor's command card is? Personally, if it isn't called "unlimited power!" I will be very disappointed; I think it should buff his lightning ability and give the primary targets effects to the adjacent target as well.
-
I'll be honest, I used to never care about when the articles came out or had any hype for when the articles "should" come out. I went about my day, checked the boards every so often, but then this thread popped up and I check every Friday and Tuesday like a fiend and find only disappointment. Curse you guys and your predictions

If there is a keyword to it that leads to a condition, you can't use it (e.g. blast, cleave, focus, stun, weaken, bleed, hidden). Anything else can be used so long as you have a valid shot. So things like military efficiency, kayne somos's squad command, verena's fighting knife (in skirmish) and recover can all be used even if the attack doesn't have accuracy or the attack was dodged.

that sounds oddly familiar, as if I myself have run that...

6 hours ago, Fightwookies said:Assault for vehicles seems like a must. An upgrade similar to Beast tamer would be interesting. It could grant accuracy/assault to all vehicles, and also exhaust to have one vehicle perform a move at the start of an activation.
An AT-ST that can move and attack twice might still be worth 14 or 15
if it were an upgrade similar to beast tamer, then you could still put attachments on vehicles, which would be awesome! but I fear that I would do work for jet troopers, which don't need much help right now.

Which heroes are you playing against? When I did AO they had mak and shyla. Shyla had her 4 xp for cleave 3, so I got the 4xp power to shields, which came in super handy for not having everything die in one cleave hit.
