  1. Except for the super falcon part, I love this Corran. I put Engine on mine as well. R7 is a fantastic droid. What do you usually run with this Corran setup?2 Blues and a bandit. To be honest, the super falcon is better. I wasn't intending it to come off as critical of the squad, but instead indicative of my own personal hatred for super Falcons.Don't worry, I wasn't thinking of it as a criticism! I'm just wondering what else to put Corran Horn in since the Super Falcon gets a boring to play against. I've been looking for builds to accompany Corran to possibly find something better than the SF.So far, to accompany a <40 point Corran, I've come up with: -3x Green Squadron Pilots + Refit + PtL -5x Bandit Squadron Pilots -2x Blue Squadron Pilots + FCS, 1 Bandit Squadron Pilot -Airen CrCken + Swarm Tactics, x4 Bandit Squadron Pilots I've yet to find a suitable list that runs Corran and Biggs together, since Corran is usually better off as a lone gunner/flanker from my hours spent flying him.
  2. Wow... Is all I can say. The colors really bring out the life to the model.

  4. Why stop at 6 Tacticians? Omicron Group Pilot (21) + Tactician (2) + Tactician (2) Omicron Group Pilot (21) + Tactician (2) + Tactician (2) Omicron Group Pilot (21) + Tactician (2) + Tactician (2) Omicron Group Pilot (21) + Tactician (2) + Tactician (2) 100 Total
  5. Etahn requires a little bit of build around for him to really shine. If he's herding a Z-Swarm, or a pair of B-Wings with Cracken, or in an EBXZ build, he just laughs at Imperials when they chew up their hull with crits. He really shines in escalation and larger matches since his ability is a force multiplier that requires more ships to be on the table. As for Corran, I would say his synergy comes through his setup. He's either the number one gun or a flanker to the main force. But you either live or die by the upgrades you put on him. Want him to survive? Corran + R2-D2 + VI + Adv. Sensors. Want him as an offensive hit and runner? Corran + R7 Astromech + VI + FCS. Want the best of both? Corran + R2 Astromech + PtL + Advanced Sensors. Whatever the case, with an E-Wing dial it shouldn't take three turns to get back into the fight. It's either really bad flying on your opponent's part or extremely superb flying on your part.
  6. I think the best way to setup Corran is at 40 points with VI, FCS and R7. It adds a lot of flexibility for a 40 point fighter that can double tap. Typically, I run him along Han because the duo provide a high-power double threat in which the opponent has to choose carefully which one to deal with first. Usually, Corran gets two double taps off before getting toasted, but during those turns, Han is chewing up the rest of the force. And, sometimes, Corran becomes the all star and sweeps up games (especially against Imps). I plan on testing two 40 point Corran lists. One with a 5 Z-95 Swarm and another with 3 Green Squadron PtL + Refitted A-Wings. I'm guessing Corran will carry the weight once more, but the added numbers may be a more efficient game plan against the meta than a Super Falcon.
  7. As ugly as they may be, I would say they are the most powerful Rebel ship second only to Falcons.
  8. Corran + VI + FCS + R7 with a Han Super Falcon build is my go to tournament setup. The double tap effect can really mop up a ship in a single turn.
  9. Depends on the kind of build or faction I play: Han build: 2 ships Rebels: 3-4 ships Rebel Swarm: 5-8 ships Imperials: 3 ships Imperial swarm: 6-8 ships
  10. Buy three more and play 4 naked Sigma Squadron Pilots.
  11. I would rather take Wedge over Luke but that's because I've never really been a fan of Luke. My usually XX set up is Wedge with Swarm Tactics and Tarn Mison with R7 because if you're flying in formation shooting first is always great.
  12. What if Aces and W5 are on the same boat...
  13. I don't play those games, what does that look like. http://www.gigaventure.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/4270650404_4bc28d3800_m.jpg The visor on his helmet was etched.
  14. I was planning on doing an Emille from Halo Reach helmet etch for my Firespray.
  15. You think so? Hmm...I'll have to try it out. I value the hitting better than the getting out of arcs (with the barrel roll and boost combo) so I think that Predator gives you a 4/8 chance to get a hit of some type from the red dice in lieu of Evading and Focus'ing for a 2/8 chance to turn an eye to a hit. I was thinking the same way, but PtL offers more survivability to your Greens. If they aren't threatened by any firing arcs you can Focus + TL, and if you're on the run you can Focus + Evade to survive multiple firing arcs. Even boosting + another action is extremely good. Their dial is also really good at clearing stress so the stress token won't even matter.
  16. PTL would be better on Greens instead of Predator.
  17. Hard = Limp Bank = Half chub Straight = Full chub
  18. Unfortunately, A's can't barrel roll (which makes little sense to me flavor-wise). But I feel like its pretty established that PTL will be a much better EPT than Predator. This solves the survivability issue while still being able to remain an offensive fighter with Focus or TL'ing. However, the PS issue is still a problem. My initial deployment plan is to keep the Greens at least range 2 away from each other so that they can zero in on a target and Corran can either sit back and gun for fun or keep up with the Greens and run and gun. Man, talking about this list makes me feel like Dr. Suess.
  19. D'oh... I completely forgot about PTL... I'm definitely going to give that a try instead! I think that is reserved for a Corran Horn + 5 Zs build.
  20. Always be sure to have a healthy supplement of vegetables when you have your evening meals! I brainstormed up a post-aces list that utilizes Corran and the high agility and non-unique Green Squadron EPTs pilots for a high-speed, run and gun list: Corran Horn (35) Veteran Instincts (1) Fire Control System (2) R7 Astromech (2) Green Squadron Pilot (19) Predator (3) Chardaan Refit (-2) x3 I typically run a Han Super Falcon in place of the Green Squadron pilots, but maybe having three highly agile bodies capable of blocking will shed some light on Corran so he can go for the kills. Predator on the A-Wings should make them a little more reliable for hitting their targets and I feel like the FCS+R7 combo offers more synergy and effectiveness with Corran rather than R2-D2. The biggest problems I see with the list is survivability and pilot skill. Three PS3 A-Wings will probably be gunned down quickly and with both ships having only 2 Hull, they all have a good chance of being toasted by a single Direct Hit! I'm hoping the agility and amazing dials on A's and E's will counter those drawbacks, good flying should keep them out of enemy arcs as well. What do you guys think?
  21. I have quite a few: -When you tell your friends you spent your evade token to avoid a potentially terrible relationship. -When you feel like you spent a focus token to change your eyeballs to evades when driving on the 91 (terrible freeway, truly the armpit of freeways in SoCal). -When you chuck something at a friend because he was in your firing arc. -When you chuck something at a friend even though he was outside of your firing arc. -When you use a B-Wing model as your rearview mirror ornament instead of the rosaries your grandma gave you. -When you feel like you turn your hits to crits when you score a deal on something or find the perfect parking spot at school. I play way too much X-Wing...
  22. Wow, I kinda wanna buy it, chop it up into pieces and use it as epic terrain.
