1. People have had well over 72 hours to see the movie. All the hushing and spoiler bashing bs needs to stop because anyone who cares enough about the movie being spoiled should've seen it by now.
2. The interaction between Han and Leia may have been a bit dull to some people, but it is far from worthless. They build up on the hope of returning Kylo and rekindling the family relationship they once had, hence the whole "bring him home" aspect of it all. But... Han is a gambler and that's how he's always lived his life. When he stepped on that bridge to convince Kylo to come home, he took a gamble and, ironically, his luck had finally run out when he decides to take that gamble on his son. You can even see Han was quite hesitant before approaching him and waited until he was at an advantageous point (one on one on the bridge) to confront him, and it all backfired and the dice came up cold. On a side note, I did love the Wookiee rage from Chewie. No prolonged lamentation or seconds spared of mourning or disbelief, just "RRRRAAAAAA!!!!!" Pew Pew! Dead stormtroopers, boom goes the station. Golden moment right there.
3. Favorite parts of the movie: -BB-8 giving Finn the blowtorch thumbs up -Stormtrooper Daniel Craig getting mind tricked by Rey -All the Mark Hamill hype only for him to be in the movie for 30 seconds -The mysticism of the new characters and settings -Daisy Ridley's calves
4. If I've read the OP and article correctly, FFG's umbrella head (ANA) will be limiting distribution of sales to five distributors and managing operations from their headquarters in Minnesota. This means that companies like Miniature Market and CoolStuffInc might not be able to sell things at 33% off anymore through the online outlet.
5. My bets: TFA Falcon TFA Kylo's Suttle Empire TIE Hunter Rebel/Scum Scurrg H-6 Scum Dunelizard/Kimoglia
6. I'm sure if Corran players really want the insurance against Wampa, they will take a Hull Upgrade but why bother when you can EU Corran and arc dodge or get into double tap murder range? And you even addressed the fact that Wampa relies heavily on synergy with other combo pieces for consistency and/or luck. Corran also has a way higher PS and his offensive power can toast things before they become a threat in the coming turns. Wampa is a cool trick, but I doubt that he'll be the Corran-bane of this meta.
7. Mynock Swarm: When ship's template or base overlaps this obstacle, roll 1 attack die. On a Hit or Crit, deal one face up damage card to the ship. Wording is all fuzzy but basically Mynocks will wreck you and ignore your shields.
8. Warden + TLT + Advanced Slam + Tactician x3
9. Simplest answer: E-Wing Refit E-Wing only You cannot equip this card if your pilot skill is 5 or greater. This card has a negative squad point value -5 Torpedo slot, Astromech Slot Optional flavor text: We're sorry we over-cost the generic E-Wings.
10. I've easily spent ~$1,600 MSRP, but most likely closer to $1,000 hard cash (because of discounts and MtG trade ins)... I'm not addicted. I swear.

Gunner or K4

K4 and Expert Handling was always an amusing combo for me.
12. I've been hopping back and forth from MtG and X-Wing lately, and one thing I love about Magic is the multiple formats that have different metas and approaches to the game as a whole. Maybe it will be possible to incorporate that into X-Wing? Legacy: This one will include ALL expansions. Everything from Wave 1 to infinity and beyond. All models, cards, upgrades. This would probably be the most competitive and available format so people can bring their all of their stuff and go crazy on the spot, which we are currently doing. Legends: This would be all non-TFA-related releases. This includes all the OT, EU and Rebels stuff that we'll see. No T-70s, no FOs, no Kylo shuttle or revamped Falcon when those inevitably hit the shelves. This excludes all upgrades in TFA stuff too. Unless upgrades that were printed in a TFA product were also printed in another Legends expansion, then those upgrades are off limits. The Force Awakens: This would only be TFA product. And I think this would be interesting since it offers a clean slate for competitiveness where FFG and players can build more carefully and mind the mistakes and brokenness from our current competitive pool. The same rule for excluding upgrades Legends-only applies in this format as well. So this format wouldn't have access to PtL, Predator, VI, etc. I just think it would be interesting to shake things up with multiple formats that limit our cardpools since we see things usually gravitate to the popular, older tricks or the newest, best thing while other things like FOs and Red Squadron Veterans end up on the shelf. Problems I foresee: -Outrage over people not being able to use all of their stuff: First off, not everything is competitively viable anyway (looking at you, Expose and non-Corran E-Wings). Second, that is why the Legacy format is probably going to be the most available and popular, simply because we're in it already. -Damage decks: The standard is that everyone is going to upgrade to the newest deck come next year, which should be held true for all formats anyway. -Warped format: TFA would suffer the most out of the gates. The T-70 was likely designed with current X-Wing (T-65) upgrades in mind. Not to mention the extremely limited pool it has for now. However, it will be interesting to see how future releases affect the format as it ages. -Confusion: Bryan and I show up with Han, Jake and Brobots to a TFA tournament. At this point, I would say that we're just SOL and should've read the event description. If multiple formats becomes a thing, there should be an established, definitive and well known rule set that the community understands and that TOs make it clear as day that the tournament will be following said format. I think X-Wing needs some kind of limiter, or at least offer multiple formats, so that you don't see super-juiced Soontir or Fat Turrets or TLT spam everywhere you go. Sure, you might see it in Legacy and Legends, but it would be refreshing to attend a TFA-only tournament where FOs and 70s are battling it out. Would you like to see multiple formats? Why or why not?
13. Honestly, it really wouldn't feel like the forums without JBR around.
14. I think it looks badass. It would be even more badass if those are actually doors/coverings for missiles galore towards the center of the ship.
15. I really like the TLT cover for Poe, except I'm using dual Adv.SLAM TLTs Wardens instead of Y's. I like closing the TLT donut hole with Ks.
16. Bought a US infantry Tamiya kit and mounted the M2 on my Decimator with a Space Marine bit I found in my spare tray. Personally, I think the gun looks more fitting than its stock itty-bitty turrets. I also nicknamed her the "Deuce Goose". Still need to paint it up and higlight the details, but I've been busy lately.
17. For Empire, I'd recommend getting your hands on the Interceptor expansion and Imperial Aces. From there, you should look into getting the TIE Fighter Expansion and TIE Advanced Expansion so you could test out the waters with Imperial pilots.
18. R2-D2 + BB8 = the most annoying flying machine!
19. How other people see your Raiders. ↑ How you see your Raiders. ↓ Just sayin'. (This is just for the forum btw, you will not see random pictures of your ships floating around on the internet.) I am in awe of your legit photoshop skills!!!
20. I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell in love with the Raider when it was finally in our hands. So, post your pictures of your beloved, wedge-shaped slice of Imperial might! Album: https://flic.kr/s/aHskhMhpqV Against my own financial advice, I ended up buying 3 at a discounted price, 2 of them from locals with the exception of the TIE Adv. cards and standard playables (sorry, ObiWanka). But what can I say? Owning 3 of these devilishly slick looking beasts is awesome. Not to mention that they'll look daunting when I'm fielding all three of them in an upcoming 2,400 point game. Feel free to post your Raiders, in action, docked on your shelf, or (props to whomever has it) hanging from the ceiling, vigilantly watching over their sector of the Empire.
21. Wow. If people start running orange pegs/bases on their 4x TLT Y-Wings list I'm quitting X-Wing.
22. Buy everything. You'll end up buying everything anyway.
