  1. One issue that I see with this list is that you've got half of your firepower tied up in Brath, which makes him a very tempting first target.
  2. Yeah, that's pretty much a recipe for disaster. The A-Wings can also take 33% more damage than Interceptors without upgrades, and interceptors' lack of shields makes them more vulnerable to crits. A better setup might have been to do leader-wingmen pairs, and put them closer together for the initial pass.
  3. This has been my go-to list lately: Col. Vessery + VI + HLC Echo + VI + ACD Gamma Squadron Pilot + 2xFlechette Torps The bomber is the bait, and supplies Vessery's target lock. Echo flanks, and Vessery goes for the range 3 shots.
  4. An X-Wing expansion will probably help, too. Plus it'll give you more named pilots.
  5. This, although I've found that his ability is more of a nice to have than anything else. Being able to pound ships with four attack dice at range three that also denies the extra defense die is strong.

    Out of print?

They'll get here when they get here. Just like every other release.
  7. You should check out FFG's Upcoming page, where you can find out the current status of releases, both for new ships and for reprints.
  8. Yes, he does. That means that even though he can perform an action while he has a stress token, he cannot perform red maneuvers.
  9. 1. Crits just count as a shield hit. 2. Yes, you can change target locks. 3. Yes. 4. Yes, they do.
  10. An interesting idea, although I suspect that it would make for a long weekend of gaming.
  11. That leaves the Republic stuff. The Empire doesn't use it for two reasons: because they've developed better military gear and the heavy Clone Wars stuff have high operational costs and while great for war is not nearly as practical for policing the galaxy as a ton of TIE fighters are. Plus, as the Empire cycles the ARC-170s, V-19 Torrents and Alpha-3s out of service they're not just dumping them on crates with "insurgents steal me" on them. Well, at least since Vader started force choking the guys doing it...
  12. Wrong Darth I didn't pick his username. If it was Emperor Palpatine this thread would have melted down on Page 2 and would have been immediately followed by a thread on how to delete forum accounts. Well, he would've used Force Lightning, to teach any pesky young Jedi wannabes the true power of the Force
  13. Wait...Millenium Falcon has a turret slot? It has a 360-degree firing arc
  14. Focus fire is your key here. Concentrate on one ship until its dead. If you try and spread out your damage, you're just playing to that list's strength. You may want to try a list with two defenders + HLC, or a defender + HLC and Echo + VI + ACD. Add in some fodder (TIE Fighters or a TIE Bomber) as your bait. Note that if he flies Han or Wedge, Echo will have a harder time.
  15. Of course, you realize that you're forced to buy the TIE Phantom to get the ACD card, right? There was nothing mean about packaging C3P0 in the Tantive IV; either it's worth spending the money or it's not. FFG isn't forcing you to do anything. You could check out CSI or MM and get them cheaper, or find a place that sells the cards individually. Guessing 0 evades doesn't result in automatic anything.
  16. And they are likely to have different cards/captains/pilots/etc. than the core set, similar to X-Wing.
  17. I'm looking forward to blasting the Imperial March while moving my imperial ships.
  18. Actually, my 65" is the Panasonic flagship from three years ago (TC-P65VT30). Dang, has it been 3 years already? I have the same exact model, I got it on sale a couple years ago from amazon with free shipping. Off-topic, but it's worth getting it color calibrated, or at least using the "standard" cal settings here: http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showpost.php?s=6d942ccee4356b3b5fd527792d3beee9&p=6128&postcount=6 Edit: And yeah, it's almost as good as the last-Gen Kuro. The very very last Panasonic flagship finally beat out the Kuro black levels, and then they went and stopped making plasma TVs. I know what you mean. Yeah, I definitely got it calibrated when we first bought it -- no point in buying an expensive TV and not getting the most out of it .
