Or, they can be destroyed before they're ever launched.

While the Gozanti will undoubtedly make it in at some point, I fail to see why launching fighters from a ship mid game would be great. This topic has come up several times, and I don't think anyone has really been able to supply a satisfactory answer. The ROI just doesn't seem to be there.

I could definitely see X-Wing Wave 4 and 5 ships, along with the shuttle showing up in Wave 3.

If you have Netflix, block out your weekend and watch all of the Clone Wars animated. It was all great. Even the movie was decent, but the series was better. The first 3 season weren't totally linear either. You might consider using this guide for viewing order in the first 3 seasons and the animated movie. http://dauntlessmedia.net/starwars/clone-wars/episode-timeline.html Rebels have also been good so far, but I have only seen first first season. Star Wars Clone Wars - Season 1-5 [blu-ray] [Region Free] https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00APGRMX2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_LB5swb93ZQKWP Is that all I need? You'll want Season 6 as well. It goes by the name of The Lost Missions.

I haven't gotten the new core set yet, but I will on my next order.

Seems like Wave II street date is 11/20/2015
DarthSidious replied to JediJF's topic in Star Wars: Armada
How is this any different than any previous release for Armada or X-Wing? The Upcoming page states On the Boat usually takes four to six weeks. That they had an event with everything already ready 1 month ago? FFG has had stuff at GenCon a month or more before general releases. Relax. -

Yeah, but it wouldn't be an FFG release without people getting their panties in a twist. -

First Order Tie Fighters Paint Scheme
DarthSidious replied to BigBearCDN's topic in Star Wars: Armada
It's possible that the red is for special forces pilots. -
I've never had a problem with CSI.

Yeah, the Bay of e or trading are probably your best bets.

At this point, I've stopped unbagging the stands and keep them in a separate ziploc bag. You never know when one's going to break, or when the need to experiment with basing (e.g., with magnets) will come on, and it's nice to know you've got some spares. Ditto with excess cardboard. Also handy if a buddy loses something, and needs a replacement.

There is at least one existing thread on this subject.

Movement dial upgrade kits appear to be real — coming in January
DarthSidious replied to Danthrax's topic in X-Wing
I don't. I have a ton of lists with X-Wings, A-Wings, Tie Fighters, Tie Advanced, ect... But no one ship that's in even 75% of my lists. Ditto. It's the same with the acrylic tokens and movement templates: they look nice, but I'd rather spend my money on ships. -

Looks like they got some inspiration from Armada. -
Nice!

Alms for an ex-leper?

Next time, name it Alderaan. They'll never find it then.

They are probably not to scale, given that the individual fighters would probably be too small to manipulate if they were.

New trailer for Rebels: Interdictors are canon now :-)
DarthSidious replied to Kodiak3d's topic in Star Wars: Armada
Isn't that the Imperial Assault Carrier that X-wing is getting? https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/x-wing/products/imperial-assault-carrier/ No that ship was flying with the Ghost, making it look like something carrying more Rebels. Kind of bullet-shaped, lower-left, with engines and wings. Almost like the assault frigate without the lower tanks. Gozantis as we know them more or less debuted with Rebels. They only had fleeting glances in the prequel movies, and not even in this configuration! They also show up in episodes of The Clone Wars. -

I hate to sound so cynical but if that were actually the case they REALLY SHOULD NOT HAVE previewed all the ships and told us all that they would be arriving before Christmas! The perpetual over-promise and under-delivering of the product release dates tends to breed a lot of negative emotions from people. I have been a strong proponent of FFG truncating their preview schedule for this very reason because we all get hyped up for a release around Christmas, but by the time it eventually arrives in February all the initial excitement is gone. TBH if it does arrive before Christmas I think I will just about fall out of my chair, I will be happy but I'm certainly not counting on it happening Given that it is still only October 7th, we still have time for them to get Wave 8 here before December 25th. I am thinking Q1/16 myself, but the holidays would be fine, too.

What have you done with the original packaging
DarthSidious replied to Space Cadet's topic in X-Wing
Recycling, mostly. I gave a few to a friend who is using them with his Plano cases. -
Flying a four HLC-Scyk formation with Serissu is still fun. Four HLCs generate a lot of damage.

unOfficial: SW Armada Wave 2 SOON!
DarthSidious replied to Enquiringnewt's topic in Star Wars: Armada
I'd be skeptical that X-Wing Wave be will be out in November. Probably Q1 '16.
