  1. How I build Oicunn is like this:

    Oicunn (60 total)

    -Mara Jade

    -Ysanne Isard

    -Dauntless

    -Daredevil

    -Engine Upgrade

    -Seismic Charges

    Rexler Brath (40 total)

    Predator

I find that Rexler with Predator is worth his weight in gold already, no need to gild the lilly. With Oicunn decked out this way you can bump twice, then drop your bomb the next turn and force them to fly through it. If you want you can drop Mara and the charges for other things, but that's how I run him.

  2.

How do those options make all that happen? I will admit I am not 100% sure on the intricacies of using him. Can you deal a second damage if you do not move? Like for example, I move up and bump a higher PS ship, causing 1 damage. Then because the higher PS ship has chosen a short maneuver, it cannot move at all. Then next turn I chose a 1 bank and cannot complete my move so I do not move. Do I cause a second damage? If so I might have totally changed my mind about Oicunn!

You bump, trigger the dauntless title to perform an action and choose Daredevil, come in at an angle so the 1 hard can't be completed and therefore bump again. If they bump you due to their maneuvre, drop the proton bomb and they pretty much have to fly through it if you line it up right.

  3. Rexler Brath (40)

    -Predator

    "Echo" (35)

    -Veteran's Instincts

    -Advanced Cloaking Device

    Tempest Squadron Pilot (25)

    -Proton Rockets

I use the advanced as a suicide boat, murdering an HVT then exploding spectacularly, leaving Rexler and Echo to clean up the rest like the bosses they are.

  4. Hey everyone, I was lucky enough to get one of each of the new ships from a friend that went to GenCon, and I was looking to throw together a list featuring each to pit against each other.

For the loyal sons of the Empire I have:

    Captain Oicunn  (42)

    - Daredevil (3)

    -Seismic Charges (2)

    -Mara Jade (3)

    -Ysanne Isard (4)

    -Engine upgrade (4)

    -Dauntless (2)

    Whisper (32)

    -Tactician (2)

    -Fire Control System (2)

    -Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

The scum of the Rebellion have dredged up:

    Dash Rendar (36)

    -Outrider (5)

    -Heavy laser Cannon (7)

    -Lando Calrissian (3)

    -Lone Wolf (2)

    - Experimental interface (3)

    Ibtisam (28)

    -Sensor Jammer (4)

    -Ion Cannon (3)

    -Flechette Torpedo (2)

    -Push the Limits (3)

    -Engine Upgrade (4)

I figure two- two ship builds would be a simple yet effective way to demonstrate the abilities of the new ships, any thoughts of the balance of these two squads though?

  5. 34 points for that defender, 35 if he has an ept

    TIE Phantom, PS 7 Ept.

When Decloaking, you may use the 1 or 3 straight template. If you do, roll an attack die. on a hit or crit receive an ion token.

  6.

Pfew, "when defending, friendly ships at range 1 gain 1 agility if you could be targeted instead". Hello.

Biggs at the heart of a Tala swarm, while carrying R2-F2, EI and a Stealth Device for 4 focused evades himself?

Expose now reads "Action: gain one attack".

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. :P.

People would hate Biggs even more I think :D

Think of it this way though. everything that Biggs already does is preserved while not forcing the opponent into it. As far as swarms go Biggs has no ept nor the ability to equip 2 modifications so you'd have 3 focused at best. Honestly Him and 5 tala's are not something i'd be worried about flying anyways. However this way I'd have the option to blow that cocky Z-95 pilot that thinks he's safe behind his 5 extra shields out of the air, at the cost of letting it have an extra defense die.

  7. I would change Biggs' ability to something like this: all defending allied ships get +1 evade dice if Biggs is also a legal target of the attack.

It makes it still keeps him as the defensive heart of a formation without forcing everyone to shoot at him. More of a 'Oh, you wanna shoot at Wedge? Good luck getting through that focused 3 dice'.

  8. I'd say it wouldn't be op if worded like this ' when defending, the first time you roll more evades than the attacker rolled hits, gain an evade token.'

that way its a once per round ability and still rewards a good early round.

  9. So what I'm looking at for this list is:

    Rexler Brath (37)

    -Predator (3)

    (40)

    Echo (30)

    -Veteran's Instincts (1)

    -Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

    (35)

Leaving me with 25 points left. I'm leaning toward a Royal Guard Pilot with PTL, but idk. What would you guys do with this list? (I'd like to fly one or the other named pilots at least if you're gonna recommend dropping them)

  10. it was a two versus two game, 200 points on either side of the table. one half of the opponent was a 7 tie swarm. The other was kath and a couple of royal guards. Our gallant heroes had a few Blue Squadrons with Fire control systems, with Grey Leader at the helm. Their allies were a pair of X-wings, an A-wing, and the Jedi Kyle Katarn. Right off the bat Horton Salm from downtown drops Mauler Mithel with a proton torp, but the battle was far from over. the B-wings were vanquished by concentrated fire from the interceptors and the X-wings fared only slightly better against the ravages of the swarm, but they do not die alone.

Outnumbered and outgunned, Horton and Kyle made a last ditch attack, Putting the bounty hunter, the interceptors, and nearly the entire swarm down before falling to a lack of green dice.
