  1. Looking to provide my players with a clone wars era ship that's been derelict since the war. Does anyone know of an existing list of ships that have been started out
  2. Right, I suppose it is feasible, in that it is physically possible. The walkways are attached to and hanging from the ceilings it would take an awfully lot of well timed damage to the hangers to cause them all to collapse. Not to mention that a whole lot of metal walkways would then be falling onto the slaves below. There are basically 4 buildings. Each has around 25 guards at any given time. Did I describe their wandering patrols well enough for you to understand why I am not giving a specific number?
  3. So I feel like a running shove would be Athletics not Coordination, though I can see the argument for Agility not Brawn. Throwing a grenade would be Agility - Ranged light. Is that what you are going to do? What are you doing in the other group, (At the slave quarters)?
  4. Thats about the gist of it. And yes a DP would be needed to introduce a conveniently placed alley. We'll resolve it with a single check. Each of you will need to declare a desired skill and result. I'll then tell you your difficulty.
  5. Check points with a stationary pair of guards. All the guards are on the walkways above. It was a slave shift change you used and you are on the ground level. Each section of the warehouse is large enough for a couple hundred slaves and has a few dozen guards that seem to be moving around enough to keep their numbers from being easily counted. likely over a hundred on patrol now, given the number of warehouses and slaves. Several times you see the guards speak into comm links in their helmets.
  6. S'zish and Khaine, Taking advantage of the advice the ithorians gave you, you sneak your way into the central area. With only a bit of difficulty you pass the heavily patrolled ring and you realize that the large buildings (intended for an entire population of ithorians) are mostly empty. You carefully make your way to the main tower. The upper levels of the tower have docking platforms jutting out and a few ships can be seen, presumably awaiting their turn to depart. Directly above the main tower you see a massive construction of durasteel and plastcrete. You soon realize that they are massive doors built from the wreckage of the battle 4 years ago. They appear to be the only means of egress from the Herdship forcefield dome. After taking a moment to catch your breath and assess the situation, you have to quickly duck back behind cover as you hear a group approaching. Peaking from around an abandoned dumpster you see that it is a group of storm troopers escorting an Imperial Officer of some rank. The imperial cadre stop perhaps 50 meters from you at a door to the central tower, when it opens and a pair of Zygerrians leave. “Administrator-Reagent Zage,” the officer says in a high pitched nasally voice stopping the pair of Zygerrians “Have you found your missing dock master? I am instructed to ensure that this facility continues operation, surely you do not want my report to include a frivolous personnel concern?” “I assure you sub lieutenant” The taller of the Zygerrians responds “There is nothing to be concerned about” The groups pass, the imperials heading into the tower and the Zygerrians walking towards a collection of speeder cars. The Zyggerians speak with each other in hushed tones that are hard to discern until they are closer and at the cars. The leader, Zage, says to the other as a conclusion to their quiet discussion. “And send someone to check the brothel, he doesn’t normally enjoy that sort of entertainment but maybe he is passed out with some toy.” He then steps into a car and speeds away. The other Zygerrian scowls and turns back to the tower heading toward the doors. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tox, Worm and Mrash have made their way into the warehouses that the population of slaves are housed in between shifts. On their way here, they had to sneak past the main work operations. Snaking conveyor belts move rubble from the mine in front of hundreds of slaves who are sorting through the crushed stone, picking out individual specks of blue and moving them to awaiting carts. The conditions at the housing are no better. The massive rooms are patrolled from above on balconies by the Zygerrian guards. Below the slaves are allowed to mill about and interact with each other but any large groupings are quickly dispersed by electro whips. You are in the largest warehouse. The entrance was guarded but you were able to sneak through when a shift changed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tell me how you guys proceed. Also you should specify your immediate term goals for me please.
  7. Well now I feel even worse about it. Tell you what I'd be happy to keep playing but the expectation of post responding within a day like we started off with just can't keep up. If I were to be realistic I don't think I'd get a chance to log in and type something up more than once a week. Though I suppose that's what the pace has been these last months. So I guess there's that, I'll offer to keep running but if you want something that is more consistent or faster-paced this game may not be for you anymore.
  8. Hey guys, I think its time I admit that the game has ended. I had a lot of fun but it I can't log in as often as I used to and when I do have time I am prioritizing other things first. I don't want to string this out for no reason. Sorry if this is a disappointment to you, it is to me as well.
  9. You can combine stealth ranks from one character and the Agility score from another. Then whoever is the primary can add any of their other bonuses from equipment or talents.
  10. Taking advantage of the advice the ithorians gave you, you sneak your way into the central area. Having passed the heavily patrolled ring you realize that the large buildings (intended for an entire population of ithorians) are mostly empty. You carefully make your way to the mail tower. The upper levels of the tower have docking platforms jutting out from it and a few ships can be seen awaiting their turn to depart. Directly above the main tower you see a massive construction of durasteel and plastcrete. You soon realize that they are massive doors built from the wreckage of the battle 4 years ago. They appear to be the only means of egress from the Herdship forcefield dome. Now that you have accessed the central hub undetected, consider your next act while we wait for the other group to post their check result.
  11. Someone in the group heading to the central hub needs to make a stealth check or a mechanics check. Mechanics only if you are trying to navigate the maze of passageways inside the ship. Going to be a hard difficulty Someone from the group heading to the slave quarters needs to make a stealth or deception check. Deception only if you're trying to pretend to be slaves again. Going to be a average difficulty. I only want one person rolling from each group so figure out who is primary and who is helping.
  12. I hope you haven't interpreted any of my posts as a negative telling you that a plan won't work. Broadly speaking, any plan you want to implement or investigate will require you to expose yourselves to risk. But so far I haven't heard anything that is impossible.
  13. You set a grenade to have a delay timer. In order to figure out how exactly to do that you would need to interact with the core engineering within the herdship. You have to run the risk of exposing yourselves.
  14. It has been a long time since any of these Ithorians have been allowed to move freely about the city but several of them tell you that the interior of the ship is riddled with passageways and mechanical workings that surround the main engines. More detail than that is not available from the slaves though. Someone could try and make a charm check to draw a memory out of one of the escaped slaves. They are rather traumatized though so it is not a simple manner. (+2eD+1eS) Sure that's an average mechanics check but since you are improvising the parts add a setback. And you know, explosives, so I'll flip a DP and upgrade that. (1eD+1eC+1eS) They are traumatized and disorganized. Without preparing them as a group ahead of time, getting one to do this will require a daunting Leadership check. Modified farther depending on other factors. If the shield actually fails then, rocks fall and everyone dies. Tribute to rpg aside, your character would know that the shield is integral to the functioning of the ship. That the shield is functioning means that the herdship's main power plant is working. The ancillary power provided by the reactors on the towers are only to keep the debris from falling through and to preserve the vegetation's photosynthesis.
  15. Alright folks. I regret that I have been less that 100% focused on this game these last few weeks. I have been busy and distracted by other things. But it also seems like the general level of interest has waned dramatically since the fight in the cargo hold. Just to be clear I am waiting for one of your characters to do something. You made a clean getaway from the first foray into the hub, so I don't want to take that away by having someone attack you. It would be best if there was consensus on where the party was headed but if you are tired of waiting then jump the gun and tell me what your character does to get this moving again.
