"If we are going to take him with the least we could do is give a working blaster. There will be more Krath."
-
Osfmor's first instinct was to go for his blaster. He did get his hand on the blaster but thought better of it once Kanti started talking to the Twi'lek.

" Lets get to the speeder again and hope we do not encounter any more Krath. " Osfmor gets a good feeling about his new "assignment".
-
Osfmor was a bit surprised by his orders but the captain knows his stuff. He looks over his new partners trying to size them up. Well they did help with the crowd so they can't be all that bad.
" I believe we may be able to each other. I can show you where the speeder is. But remember once we get out of the city we need to look for people to help."
-
The advantage is that a trusted noble has come to help calm the crowd as well.
-
Osfmor addressed the crowd himself. "Citizens please calm down. The Security Force will handle the situation ."
He frowned as he could not calm the crowd down.

Osfmor is not really good with social skills but can I make a charm roll to help with the crowd?
-
"This is not working." Osfmor thought to himself. " The captain is good at his job but not really good with people. I am not better but something has to be done to calm these people."
-
I think it's a PC slot next.
Jnrschulz, if you're reading this, we can either introduce your character in another short encounter or in the adventure's next 'episode'. Up to you.
I can do the next encounter. Looks like Osfmor left to help the civilians before this encounter.

Sorry I have been out for awhile. Was having a very bad internet outage at home. When it finally got sorted out I got sick for a week. Now both my internet and health are back. I will catch up on the story and see where I can get back in.

Osfmor made his way to the spaceport. Looks like most of the ships took off but that does not mean that they made off planet. Looking around he spotted a couple of security speeders. Time to find more security forces and mount a defense. Wait who are those people coming this way Krath? He draws his blaster. Can I make a perception roll?
-
Just a FYI most of my posting will be at night and on the weekend (mostly Sunday).

One question, is Osfmor with the group, or are the five other players in one group with him starting alone? I only ask because if he's a Naboo militiaman it would be sort of strange for him to try to flee the planet with us foreigners...
That would depend on jnr, but one possibility is that Osfmor could be more useful outside the city, so he doesn't get captured and/or killed.
So, jnrschulz, perhaps you could tell us your thoughts on this?
I could see him joining the group during the invasion to help them fight the Krath. As for getting off planet, he could leave Naboo because of revenge on the Krath, rescuing members of the government taken by the Krath or just he feels that is at odds with the culture since he is a soldier in a peaceful society.
-
Osfmor tries to make sense of the messages coming across the com. He hears reports of the royal family being escorted the their ships. Suddenly it goes quiet and that means one thing, communications have been jammed. He takes a quick look to the sky to see if he can see any of the ships escaping but can only see the Chaos Fighters and troop transports.
He goes for his blaster but hesitates. The training of the Security Forces did not cover invasion.
"I need to find a speeder." he thinks to himself "I should check the spaceport."

Hey, jnrschulz, I was browsing through the sheets for the other characters and noticed you have the wrong stats for your blaster pistol. It should be damage 6, critical 3. Unless it's some special blaster pistol that is worse in those ways but still as expensive!
Thanks. Must of looked at the wrong numbers.

I don't mind some overlap. The Infiltrator version would likely be Nautolan. But the Warden or Aggressor would likely be a Nikto. I may go over Marauder again too.
But speaking of overlap what are people picturing as their role in the party?
Osfmor being part of Naboo Security would fill mostly a combat role. He will have some training in medicine, survival and stealth as well. Working on his background a bit. He sees himself kind of like the Operative from Serenity. He believes in the peaceful nature of the Naboo culture but realizes he must do things to protect the way of life that sometimes involves violence.

I would be interested. Thinking a bout being a member of the Naboo Security Force.
Edit:
Just a reminder, we're using the F&D method for choosing bonuses, so you don't have to worry about adjusting duty numbers and you just pick one of the options, as mentioned in my above post. So, if you want the extra 1000 credits, you should have an extra 5 XP to work with as well.
Got it. Spent my 5 xp.

The list of items for Free RPG Day is now up at
and it does not include anything from FFG. Therefore it looks as if the answer is no.
The FUDGE dice from Q-workshop look pretty cool, it would be nice if they did some Star Wars dice, but I'm pretty sure FFG can't sublicense.
The EOTE free rpg day module was announced in April last year. So I think that list is what is confirmed so far.

The name change and other changes to the released pdf were allegedly due to the cannot provide pdfs of game material clause in the contract.
FFG have a lot of loopholes to jump through and most likely consult lawyers about every step of the way. Star Wars is more constrained compared to what the 40k license allows them to do.
Meh, art through adversity I say. I'd take physical print over pdf any day.
I believe the pdf was changed into promotional material on the website that still requires the beginner game or core rulebook to play.
The PDF and the physical print both could be played without the core rules or beginner game. It contained the basic rules and an adventure.
I started playing the game the free rules instead of getting the Beta or beginner game. Liked it so much bought the EOTE core rules and play bi-weekly on Google+.

Osfmor waves at the Twi'Lek to come over by him. "Part of my duty is to protect the people of this Planet. I will take care of this man. So let's get going".
