Very good point, C3P0 will also function nicely with Flight Instructor, since C3 kicking in before modifying dice then FI can reroll either for a natural evade or eye

I feel sometimes the games become repetitive since we all fly according to what the guy is running but what if you could only initially see the pilot cards. Disclaimer: I've yet to try this but I was thinking of a new game style to add some exciting twists and turns as I was driving home - At the start of the game all squad cards except pilot cards are facedown, so you get a general idea but can't plan specifically. - Each player is allowed to checked their cards as often as they like (very often is recommended) but cannot use the EPT, Weapon, Mod, etc unless it is declared and revealed. Once revealed cards cannot be flipped face down thus like actions if you missed it you lost it. (Note revealed shield card counts a shield token) Thus the owner can either reveal all his cards in the beginning or save them and use them one by one for surprise effect but risk missing its use. That way when the Bomber gets a lock on you, you'll have no idea if its an assault missile or proton torpedo. Granted I could see this favoring named pilots w/ more upgrades, but with cards like predator the meta is moving in that direction anyway, and if both pilots are aware of the format beforehand then theres no excuse. Of course I'd only play this with people I know won't cheat. let me know what you think...

I fly 3 Blues w/ adv sensors and I love it, just last sat I was flying vs an 8 tie swarm draw them in the tightly packed asteroid field and won because of it. (Not an easy victory since he downed a blue very quickly) Everyone has already said most of their uses, except a very specific case of the moving to block a high priority target. Time and time again I use it BR to block Soontir/Vader who are weak w/o their actions/PtL they fall quickly to the other Bs (usually at range 1)

I've got two 1374s and all the large ships fit perfectly fine in their 3750s trays, I've even cut all the clamshells so nothing moves. I could send pm pics if you want? Those are the plano 3750s, 3 of which comes with the 732, you may consider the 1374 it has 4 of these trays but it a simpler design.

Hey guys, I've yet to run the Transport but hopefully this week, before I do I wanted to ask what the advantage of using engine booster? It takes 1 energy to move 1 forward but couldn't you just choose 1 larger forward movement and gain 1 less energy anyway and you won't get blocked by ships in your way... so what point I missing? thanks in advance and Happy Hunting

Your not paying 19 points just to boost, give him an Ion Turret and he's golden, thats the same price as a Dagger Sq, or +1 point than a Red Sq. and one less than Grey Sq w/ Turret all same PS While none of them have ability, (its very underrated) With 5 Health and two aglity he takes as much as an X-Wing Everytime I run my list I use him I like the HWK, but to be honest, usually in formats above 100 pts only. It's really hard to put a semi-costly support ship in most 100 pt lists for me. While it's totally dependent on how you make your build I used run Roark w/ Ion Turret and 3 B Wings it's an excellent anti-rebel list as he with Ion he neutralizes enemy non-turreted Y/B-Wings. Its not a perfect list and nor am I the perfect player but I'm currently 20-4 with 2 Store champions and another 4th place with it. His ability has time and time again been the defining point on whether I destroy a ship before return fire. Not for everyone sure but not a waste

It's a nice idea but it's a tough asking price, 1) FFG seems like they are slow and steady with X-wing, not really taking big risks in both quantities and products. 2) As Aminar pointed out most people have the basics already so its really only for the new kids but $150 asking price will send them running theres a reason why the core is relatively cheaper its too lure you in, and lure you in it does. Though I'm not against the idea, maybe if they released 2 Ties & X Wing with all new pilots upgrades, either acrylic tokens/templates/dice or whatever and charged either the same or slightly higher would be great but I don't see it happening. Its gonna be marketable for everyone **** ninjaed

Guys after the reading what the OP wrote I gotta say he's completely right. I mean after all how dare FFG for marketing the way they do. Shameless the way that they allow us to know the contents of each and every expansion allowing us to make an accurate cost/benefit decision of ever purchase is sicking. It is also so annoying that they designed a game that the mini's/cards aren't actually needed in most if not all cases. The nerve How dare they twist our arms! I urge the OP to sell his collection to me at a terrible loss to expose worthless resale value (thus proving how they really screwed us) to open the eyes of all us victims of FFG's propaganda. - apparently a rich fat cat 1%er (actually if I have 2 transports does that make me a .001%er?) who would have thought that it was star wars that made me a 1%er ........seriously though....no.... just no OP..not even close

Arrrrrghhh my ebay buyer hasn't paid me yet, but Friday is payday. Now that your getting a collection together have you considered storage? You seemed like a BF man but in the meantime while you get back on your feet I think a got a couple of Plano 3750/3700s that I could empty out for you.
