  1. Don’t know. They announced it was available, so I would expect it to be up on their store already, but I can’t imagine it sold out in one day, no matter how popular it might be.
  2. Pre-ordered Prophecy of Kings from miniature market back when it was announced and just got a shipping notice for it today. Should have it early next week.
  3. Thanks. yeah, that is pretty much everything but an outright official announcement. Awesome! (And finally) Just hope it’s better than the first one
  4. Do we? I know there was a lot of speculation about that when Genesys launched, but I haven’t heard anything more about it since (and, in fact, have heard that Genesys is practically dead). I’d love to hear otherwise. As would I. Getting different fleets of miniatures for each race would be awesome.
  5. for me a "miniatures game" is any game that has miniatures. But that isn't a exclusive to other descriptors. My favorite game is a miniatures board game, warhammer and X-Wing are miniature war games. To me, the distinction is Boardgame vs Wargame. And for me what makes the distinction is whether you create your own army list from a pool of options, or have set forces (or very limited forces, and there are certainly games that blur the line). Imperial Assault was interesting because it could be both. The default way of playing was more like a dungeon-crawl, RPG board game, but it could also be played as a wargame.
  6. So it has been announced that the Star Wars miniatures games are all being moved from FFG to Atomic Mass Games. I am of mixed feeling about this because I was hoping FFG's recent development of the TI universe in different areas would lead to a miniatures game set in the universe. Now, I have to assume that is considerably less likely. What do you guys think? More games set in TI more or less likely now?
  7. As am I. A book series is a good indication that the setting is expanding.
  8. Indeed. Do we know anything about the novel? When it is set? What it’s actually about?
  9. Looks good. I would pay for a printed copy of this. The Titans, Empyrean, and Nomad all appeal to me. I like that they seem to be developing the setting more. Hopefully we’ll see more games in the setting and maybe a full RPG in the future.
  10. Is there anything to back that up? I have a couple of guys that are insisting “predict an outcome” includes things like “player A will not be elected”.
  11. What constitutes an “outcome” when you have to guess the outcome of a vote?
