This is undoubtedly true.  At lease, that is, until Tauntauns develop opposable thumbs to carry the football, or learn to trim their nails so they can kick the soccer ball without popping it.  If either of these events occur, I forsee an immediate resurgence in the fortunes of the sports in question.

Now that it’s possible to collect full size armies using nothing but Hoth models, there’s no reason not to. Since tauntauns are out, I expect Legion to soon be more popular than both footballs combined. 

Bummer, I was hoping Revel Swiss was going to be some new exciting thing I had missed.

I think it’s cause most people don’t see any tauntauns in person after like age 7. So in your memory they’re huge. But really you were just smaller then. Since I still work with live tauntauns everyday, the sizing of the models didn’t surprise me. 

If the price is indeed lowered on the units to the "regular" pricing, it will alleviate all of my previous concerns and fill me with untold joy 😁

For me the article still says the higher price, but when I follow the link, the website lists them at a lower price on that page. Weird stuff...
Edit: Checked miniature market, which has their retail listed as $35 and is selling for $28, but on FFG's webstore you can put them in your cart for $25.00. The first time I have ever seen FFG direct be cheaper than Miniature Market!

There isn't on their own website. Both the Droids and phase I clones are listed there at $25.  I'm not trying to be a downer here, but the price increase from $25 to $35 seems massive to me, and I'm not sure how they are justifying it. If B1s cost $25, it stands to reason the other sprue models would be similarly priced as well, especially since B1s actually have more models than the expansions in question.
The price increase just seems excessive, and very Games-Workshopish...🙁

The heavies are also a price increase from the AT-ST, Landspeeder, etc.
Otherwise looks cool!

The Heavies are probably more expensive because they're huge - in scale the AAT and Saber are bigger than the Occupier.

I am still cleaning up. One free squad of Rebel Troopers. Use them for amateur tournament prizes, to get your first 800 points painted up faster, etc. etc. etc. Just be cool and don’t sell them.
