I still love to run Han Solo (preferably with Chewbacca, of course).
I realize this is not a competitive option, but it is a lot of fun, and a well-timed Reckless Diversion or Change of Plans is pretty dang satisfying. If and when he gets a drop in price, I shall sing and dance in the streets!

The Imperials aren't adapting their tactics and strategies to the varied and changing methods of their enemies? And are losing because of it?
Sounds pretty on-theme for the faction. I don't see the problem.

To be fair, Han's combat abilities are explicitly better than Rex's (Pierce 2 on every shot is insane), it's just that Rex does everything else that is not combat better. Han's command cards are better in my experience, though Rex's certainly aren't bad.

Don't avoid anything. Nothing is horrifically unusable, though the Airspeeder struggles competitively. Wookiees and Fleet Troopers aren't super good at 800 pts but excel in Skirmish. I wouldn't dare to tell someone starting out to avoid something if he thinks it's cool.

I shrunk the area of the glow down to focus it on the face, helmet and shoulder, darkened the unlit areas and added some orange to the 'core' of the glow.

Since I have 3 vader models already (core set, LED modded core set, and the con exclusive). I decided to do something really different with the operative vader model.

Im going for a 1980s marvel comics look to match the Mcquarrie inspired pose.
