  1. 2x expert shield techs 2x auxiliary shield team 2x weapon battery techs 3x reserve hangar deck 3x proximity mines 2x advanced transponder net 2x linked turbolaser towers There are also 2 take evasive action, but it a unique card.
  2. I know this is weird and maybe I am crazy but if you can double arc a ECM ship with an ISD 2 WBT can acutely produce a crit pretty reliably with only two blues and with MS1 you can negate ECM from your side than shoot out your front lock up the brace for a good chunk of damage. Its a bit crazy but it works oddly. Imperial II (120) • Weapons Battery Techs (5) • MS-1 Ion Cannons (2) • Linked Turbolaser Towers (7) = 134 Points
  3. I think Linked Trubolaser towers will be amzing and really shake up fleet builds because now you dont have to take leading shots for rerolls.
  4. Its got rerolls sustain damage from the scouts burst damage from the torpedos. Would probably struggle against Squadrons. Its got the right tools just would need to be exicuted correctly.
  5. Maybe a mix Hammerhead Scout Corvette (41) • General Rieekan (30) • Task Force Organa (1) = 72 Points Hammerhead Scout Corvette (41) • Task Force Organa (1) = 42 Points Hammerhead Scout Corvette (41) • Task Force Organa (1) = 42 Points Hammerhead Scout Corvette (41) • Task Force Organa (1) = 42 Points Hammerhead Scout Corvette (41) • Task Force Organa (1) = 42 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points
  6. 10 is cool but wont have upgrades or rerolls 9 on the other hand Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • General Rieekan (30) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 70 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Hammerhead Torpedo Corvette (36) • External Racks (3) • Task Force Organa (1) = 40 Points Squadrons: = 0 Points Total Points: 390
  7. I have had success with gherant on a raider with Vader on a nearby flotilla in Imperal MSU. The crit effect has come in handy in 2 games but I use him and Vaider plus Ordanace experts to really fish for accuracies or doubles it works out nice.
  8. I will tell you right now the spread does not show us everything so I find near impossible to predict it token suite.
  9. Love the K-wing its a weird ship but I really hope we see it in the future of Armada.
  10. In essence that is my solution by exhausting ECMs to cancel an accuracy before it is spent means they need at least 2 in their pool to lock things up. I dont see officer palp as a big issue most ships are fine spending one token even some cases two. It just really hurts TRC ships IMO. If manage your tokens and time when you attack Palpatine's ship you will be fine.
  11. Okay its just been a while since I last played and could not remember the details. Legion would be a much better game if it has a victory system baised off of how many points you lost to get the victory like major victory is a 4-1 if you losse 200 points or less minor victory a 3-2 if you lose 200-400 and a pyrrhic victory being 400 points or more 2-2 games won becoming a tie breaker. That's just off the top of my head but it would be a much better system, IMO.
  12. a few locals have had trouble with the SSD here are my thoughts about taking one down. https://nichurz.wixsite.com/mysite/blog/concentrate-all-firepower-on-that-super-star-destroyer-taking-down-the-beast
  13. Unpopular opion Lucrehulk will be large.
  14. If I remember correctly you can actually have nothing on the table and you could have killed nothing of your opponents and still win the game if you have more tokens.
  15. I am hoping my FLGS got in they had regionals the first 2 years, but the last few years have been declined. I just find it odd as we have a game Night every week that gets 8+ people and when we host a tournament we normally get a least 12 people, I know some regionals last year that had fewer people than that show up and that includes people traveling to play there.
  16. This is why I stopped playing legion. It is 100% if you are able to complete objectives, and it felt like 90% of the objectives required troopers units to even do so if you took one big unit you where passing up on 4+ trooper units you could take that would help you win the game so it was never worth taking, and I still don't think it would be with these changes, unless they add more vehicle friendly objectives or change how the game is won, its because you can only win by objective play and for the vast majority of objectives in Legion can only be influenced by trooper units that is what breaks legion not the unit cost. I felt like games just devoled into trooper units grabing an objective and hunkering down behind cover taking pot shots at each other. Armada on the other hand I feel I can run pretty much whatever I want. I have even recently started to have success with Imperial MSU agian. Sure there are some upgrades I would like to see changed but I think things are fine the way they are. I would welcome some changes, but we don't need them so I am happy ether way.
  17. Like I said before I feel like every ship is viable, however I do think ECM should be a discard, and they should get rid of the dumb interaction between X17's and Advanced Projectors, IMO, but as is game balance is pretty soild I just wish accuracy generation was a little more meaningful. I would also be happy if ecm was worded in such a way that it could discard a single die with an accuracy icon.
  18. There is only a handful of upgrades that I think could use a look at but every ship is a viable option right now. legion reblance from my understanding was because viable options where limited I doubt we will see it, but if we do I think it would be price reductions on just a few upgrades.
  19. Whatever boat they put the SSD on FFG should always use that boat.
  20. I think the Rebel titles and squadrons are great. Vanguard is super flexible. It can be great in a squadron list by tacking on Flight Controllers or Ruthless Strategist to it, want more of a gunship Gunnery teams Caitken and Shollan are great options. While I don't think Vanguard is going the first title taken for a Neb in most list because of the titles flexibility I can feasible see a double Neb list doing well, and who knows maybe I will be surprised and a lone Vanguard will be great. Liberator is great, as it gives you one super turn all your ships are not in engagement range dump IF, you need to boost your B-wings speed for that one key turn no problem AFFM, want to have a Ozzel jump effect once per game EF, some yaw adjustment for the messy turns TEA, again its not amazing but is very flexible in list building it will do what you want it to do. Lando is amazing put him and Ten Numb in your fighter wing and well Tie fighter aces can say goodbye. Kanan with Toryan Far is pretty gross, particularly with Rex. Malee Hurra- she is the only way the rebels have to guarantee a crit. Nothing else on the rebel side can do this, this makes her a great inclusion in any rebel fleet that depends on critical effects, particularly CR-90 B's. She also helps out Sato Lists a lot. Mart- I will agree I am a bit underwhelmed with him, but maybe I will be supersized placing a mine can be extremely useful in the right circumstances. Personally I feel that the Rebels are built around synergy much more so than the Empire, and all these upgrades and squadrons seam to really tie back to that idea, sure I don't think that one of these upgrades or squadrons by itself is amazing they tie back to what I think is the theme of the Rebel faction they are a piece of a fleet built to synergize together. While the Empires Individual pieces are much stronger (again in my opinion) than their Rebel counterparts once upgraded sure they can have some synergy together, but not to the extent the Rebels can have, and I really think that is why these cards might seam underwhelming because by themselves they kind of are, but you need to think of the full 400 point picture not the 2, 4, 19, 22, 23, or 26 point picture.
  21. Looking at my final thoughts about the officers that came with the SSD https://nichurz.wixsite.com/mysite/blog/the-bridge-crew-the-ssd-brought

  24. I actually think it does the opposite if salvo becomes prominent and most ships can gain access to it if you are chasing a ship and it attacks from its rear you can salvo out what is likely your strongest arc and they get a week rear attack. The current issue with chasing is they move away before you get a good attack off now that is not possible with salvo.
