  1. Roll20 works fine for this one. My group uses Google Hangouts with the dice roller app.
  2. Hi Shaak Tea, It sounds interesting. WHen does the game run?
  3. I'm so sorry for the delay. I was sent out of town a project and I haven't been able to get back to form. It may be best I sit this one out.
  4. If you're still accepting applications, I'd love to get in on the game.
  5. swtor since beta, Jedi covenant server. PC name: Dramar
  6. Hi Prog, First I'd like to thank you for sharing your beautiful obsidian portal style with the community. Very much appreciated! I had a question about implementing the various block quotes you used. The only one that I can get to work is the standard blockquote <blockquote>. I guess the problem I am having is figuring out what the code is to call up the other blockquote styles. Coding is not a strong suit of mine. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. https://star-wars-skewed-universe-the-rise-of-the-fallen.obsidianportal.com/
  7. That reminds me of a book called "the power gamers guide to roleplaying", it had a list of how gun (use) could be substituted for other skills*: Persuasion: KLICK- "you agree with me right?" Barter: KLICK- "how much?" Streetwise: KLICK- "tell me who runs these streets!" Stealth: if they are all dead they can't see you. Perform: KLICK- "are you not entertained?" * all done tongue in cheek (at least i hope so) Sadly this is SOP for one my groups I GM for...
  8. I'm definitely going to have to figure out how to do this for my game. I currently do something similar to the Clone Wars news updates. Since the game has moved from the Dark Times into the rebellion era, this would be more fitting.
  9. More than likely several of us from the RPG Academy will be running games on demand throughout the week. If you guys are interested in playing in one I'll put them out on twitter when they happen. Brad_Knipper@brad_knipper See you guys at GenCon!
  10. Simon your build of an electrostaff looks pretty good to me though I might offer one suggestion. I personally would drop the hard points by one due to the number of qualities the weapon has. Also, I agree, linked shouldn't apply to melee weapons. Great work!
  11. Alternative/infinities universes are a lot of fun to run, especially if your players happen to know a lot about star wars lore. You aren't bound by the cannon events. For example, the expressions on my players faces was perfect when they found out that Yoda died in the confrontation with Poppa Palpy during the clone wars.
  12. I agree with Vonpenguin. Concussion missiles and proton torpedoes are also restricted military hardware. While the players might have the credits to purchase new ones, it doesn't mean that they will be able to find new ones, especially true if they are members of the fringe. Besides, their flight leader might be kinda pissed off if they continually use up their torpedoes, which are a precious resource for the rebels, to take out a TIE fighter.
