  1. Okay, so anytime a RENOWN character claims a power token for having RENOWN, I'm talking about aside from whatever they win from a power challenge, it ALWAYS goes on that characters card and stays there?

Also, lets say a RENOWN character wins a power challenge with a claim value of 2, does that mean they win 2 power tokens for their house plus one that goes directly on the character or they just simply take both power tokens and put them on the character's card?

Next, does everytime a RENOWN character win a power token for themselves does it always go on their card? That would mean by the end of a particular game you could have a RENOWN character with 6 power tokens on them?

  2. I've read on seperate occasions that if a character with RENOWN just so much as takes part in a challenge they recieve a power token for their house, win or lose, and that this is the power of having RENOWN.

However, I've also heard that with RENOWN you just simply put a power token on that particular character as soon as they are played and leave it there until they die or are discarded or just basically taken out of play for any reason. This power token counts towards your total power amount and cannot be taken from you in a power challenge.

Which of these is correct? Am I supposed to do both with a RENOWN character?

  3. This card says after you win a military challenge in which Robb Stark participates, to choose and kill a character from the losing opponents side. Does this mean before or after the opponent chooses to kill one of their characters from the lost military challenge or is this the same character that has to be killed but having Robb Stark just gives me the added perk of being able to choose?

In other words, if my claim value is 2 and I use Robb Stark and win a military challenge does my opponent lose 2 characters from the initial challenge PLUS whatever character I choose for them to have to kill?

  4. What's the point of being able to put the power token on the character? If you have no power tokens but lose a power challenge you still lose that power token which is placed on the character with "infamy", right?

Im just trying to see what the differance in having it on your house card as opposed to having it on a character with "infamy" is.

  5. 1. I'm trying to understand the whole control thing. Im obviously new to this game. How does this work? If I, with the "Seductive Promise" card take control of an opponent's character, does it become mine for the rest of the game? I mean, do I just take it and put it on my side of the "table" or play area?

    2. How do the "HONOR GUARD" cards work? As soon as I bring them out do I just hand them to my opponent and as soon as they use them in a challenge they have to hand them over to me?

  6. 1. If a power challenge is defended but lost and the only power point the losing defender has is on a RENOWN character does the winning attacker get that power point or no power point?

    2. Can a character that does not have to kneel during a military challenge get to make another challenge since, after all, he is not kneeling after the first challenge he made?

  7. On this card it reads "Kneel one of your House Stark characters to choose and kill a character witg equal or lower strength." Does this mean your own character or your opponents? Plus, does that character that you kneel stay that way until all the way until the next round during the stand phase?

  8. I'm very new to this game so please excuse the questions. These questions are for the HBO version of the Game Of Thrones LCG.

    1. If I try to make a military attack on my opponent but they have no military symbol on any of their characters does that mean I can't attack? Do I get to attack but the attack goes unopposed? What if I do this with any other type of attack? Can I still do it or do I have to waot until my opponent has a character that has the ability to participate in that type of attack?

    2. Bran Stark's card says that you can save him and put him back into your hand. Let's say the plot card only allows one character to die during a military attack, what's to stop someone from just putting Brsn Stark out there every turn in order to be sacrigiced? It seems a bit unfair. Am I missing something?

    3. If I lose a military challenge does the character I choose to die have to be the one involved in the challenge directly? Does it have to be a character that only has a military symbol on it or can I just sacrifice any character regardless of what symbols they may have?
