    I've always been a fan of yorr, especially back in the day with 3 RGP w PTL before autothrusters. His ability will always make him usable with aces, especially with ptl/expertise epts around.
  3. I want a tie Punisher/ large base (either decorator or firespray) with harpoon-quality torpedoes.
  4. If the timing is the issue with TS, why not make the system require dropping the bomb at the same timing as a phantom decloak, after dials, but before anyone moves?

  7. Imperial thanks to Tie Fighter video game (its also what got me into the game in the first place). The best part of the game is the outthinking in the maneuvers, and no one does that better than empire. Granted, those green dice gods have been angry that ive been playing with my arc 170s lately...

  10. I'll play 'palp aces' but never the standard ones (juno/phenir/yorr). I'd rather fly something fun than something OP, even if it means i lose store championships or tournaments.
  11. I've won vs soontir with red ace/D2/comm/autothrysters. Without TL/Focus he wasn't able to deal with the amount of negation and regen. So time was on my side

  13. The F/O and TAP suggest the empire has reached that point. Different greens, an s-loop, +/- 1 hull for a shield, but basically the same thing. A ship baseline cost under 20 for cheap aces around 30 points (+/- 5) with 3 green dice and movement actions. The only ships that feel unique, imo, are the defender, phantom, and the large-based ships. And there is nothing to say that FFG can't modify the original design slightly, to add a turret or something (though not sure where they'd put it...) to make it more unique than it could be otherwise Negative. The Empire lacks 1 ship type... Heavy assault, jack of all trades type fighter. An Imperial version of the B-wing. Something that could take ordnance if it wanted to, but also excels at close range dogfighting. The TIE punisher is a bit to sluggish for this role, and the TIE defender fits more of the interceptor type. (especially given imperial veterans). A role that the Gunboat could bring to the table, but also with it's own mechanics, and not just be a copy paste of the B-wing. (The mist hunter did for the scum faction, gave them a healthy ship with lots of attack, but also some unique ways to play it. It fills the role nicely). Yeah, this is exactly what I'm thinking. TIEs just keep filling the same holes over and over again. Something new for the imperials is needed.

  15. I feel like it's quite similar to the sith ship for the warrior/inquisitor in the old republic mmo. Which I loved.
  16. Or an ability that makes the attacks of people out of arc of a jouster less effective, sorta like reverse outmaneuver, to make people kinda want to be in their arc to get all their bonuses
  17. Only problem with vi is all the PS 8/9 like poe and Vader taking it, making the ability less useful, but it's still my go-to for my favorite squint.

  19. i personally find juno's dial easily makes up for her not being vader, but i like to run her with yorr to take her stress from ptl
  20. All i know for sure, is if they can dock, they can use the x1 title and ATC that vader loves so much, as both state tie advanced
  21. Does their lack of excitement for the tap suggest they are bored of ties and thinking of gunboats/Cygnus designs? I can hope.
  22. Yeah, man is what I've been able to read, but that's about it, so I've been leaning to maneuver as well.
