Another great model from @melminiatures, based on the ship seen in the Poe Dameron comic -- the Maxima-A heavy cruiser.

@Arknur - Mel has minis in multiple scales and most (if not all) of his 1/47 minis are also now in IA scale after this awesome update. If you see a figure you like in the 1/47 scale if you copy its name and do a quick search you should be able to get results for each of the scales it is in, just select the one whose name includes (IA) in the title.

I'll go with some shameless self-promotion and throw up my "Comms Net Gozanti" ship mod (IGV-55 Surveillance Vessels from Mel's Miniatures).

As far as repaints (I think that's what you meant), I still like @Ginkapo's Imperial Star Destroyer Repaint (and the corresponding fleet).  I did see an ISD in camo with a Union Jack once that was pretty sweet, but unfortunately, I can't find a picture.

So Im the guy that modded the stands and painted the ships...so here is a build breakdown...
The stands are from etsy: BGHQ, and are the bottom load option, I used 2 sets so every character has their own stand and I can glue the bottom piece on.
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/714888491/star-wars-outer-rim-player-stands-set-of?ref=yr_purchases
Next up is the peg, which is also from Mel's...
    https://www.shapeways.com/product/YYYPM82ER/armada-4x-squadron-pegs-for-2-ships?optionId=56589680&li=ostatus
I bought this set then used a sprue clipper and some sand paper to cut off the "cup" that the squadron peg goes in, then superglued it to the top of the BGHQ character frame.
Finally, the ships are from Mel's Outer Rim Full Player's set...
    https://www.shapeways.com/product/B9LRMQM2H/armada-outer-rim-full-player-ship-set?optionId=110919944&li=shops
I used the paints from the Vallejo Game Color Intro set, plus some GW Nuln Oil to paint them.
Next up is Mel's set of the non-player ships (ie the patrols), but I am still working out a mounting system I like for them that holds the token in an indent on the bottom, plus then has a peg running up that can support the larger models of the Home One class MC80 and Imperial Star Destroyer.

While clone troopers were best deployed in large numbers, articulated battlefield armor such as this Republic scout walker transformed a single clone trooper into a formidable anti-infantry unit. Designed primarily as a reconnaissance vehicle, this two-legged open-cockpit walker is nonetheless swift and heavily armed, letting a clone trooper cut through battle droids easily. It was employed in such campaigns as the Battle of Kashyyyk. It was the precursor to the All Terrain Scout Transport seen during the Galactic Civil War.
FFG already announced their model, but I wanted mine now. Since I had a couple of walkers from the Legion core box and I do not like them for Rebels the choice was simple, get a Clone Rider from Shapeways and all is fine. I went for one of the great Mel designs, but as always the Shapeways printing material was not as good as any mini from FFG. Otherwise it fitted perfectly, only the brittle blaster broke off during painting, I replaced it with a FFG arm.

melminiatures reacted to Big Nancy in Mels' Minis- Vigil Corvette, Hammerhead Corvette, Assault Frigate Mk1.4 Dauntless Cruiser
Haven't really posted here yet. I only started playing/collecting Armada in February, and had the lock-down not happened, I may not have gone quite so far so fast, but it's been a lot of fun and quite a learning experience modding and building my Armada fleets.
Recently got some Ships from Mel's miniatures and despite having painted over 2500 Warhammer minis, painting ships was not as easy as I thought it would be. They came dangerously close to being gray blobs.
Vigil Class Corvette- I got this because I love the design and I wanted to use it as a Raider. Consequently, it's kinda CHONK and is even larger than the Arquitens.  Looks great, but not to scale with Fantasy Flight ships... relatively speaking.
Sphyrna Class "Hammerhead" Corvette- I got this because I wanted to also be able to field the more robust and heavier looking version alongside Fantasy Flights renderings. They look great together, the combat refit is definitely a little beefier.
Mk1.4 Assault Frigate. Such a classic design, can't wait to fly a list with both the Mk 1 AND 2. The paint job on this is a thing that I am not proud of.
Dauntless Cruiser- This is one of my favorite ships in Legends. When I first saw the MC75 in Rogue one, I thought that it had to be inspired by the Dauntless cruiser. In case you were wondering, here's a comparison side by side. Dual MC75 lists; all the black dice!!! The paint job is a little too muddy, and I may have to try to fix it.

    Thanks Mel!
Yes this is the discussion we had. Without the luxury of television where things can change when they need to.
Are you going to do any more ships from this show? There are the pirate one's and Yeager's ship, his brother and Rucklin.
I found this image that shows the relative sizes.

Those are just amazing! Thank you for posting, it's great to see all the Aces in the same place with such incredible paintjobs.

And yes, about the size of the Black Ace, the thing is that if you scale the TIE cockpit and the astromech droid, the fighter should be larger than the rest of the Aces, but in the show, every shot of the fighter next to the other fighters it has been scaled down to fit their sizes. My guess is that they designed the ship and then cheated in the animation to make it smaller than it should.

I decided to go with the original large size so it would look nice next to the other TIEs.

#55 So once my HWK got blown off the table I had to replace it with something new. 1. Another full metallic base but this time with less rust. Also knowing that I'm going to make most of it much darker with shading. 2. Quite different knowing that I want to make it dark I was super liberal with the washes. 3. Red stripe was pretty easy to do, freehand. 3 layers and i'm calling it done.   Black Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer Leadbelcher base Lots of Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Mephiston Red stripe Abbadon Black for some details

#56 OK! Now on to my next Shapeways series from the Resistance TV show. Starting with Bo Keevil's Yellow Ace. 1. Yay Yellow, actually I don't see why so many people have trouble with this. Just be patient and build up the layers, i think i did 4. finishing touch is the shade to smooth it all together. 2. Finding the right yellow is tricky. I started with Contrast Nazdreg Yellow but it came out WAY too orange. So I rebased the whole thing in Dorn Yellow which hit the mark right after i applied the shade.   White Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer Dorn Yellow base Averland Sunset for the stripes Mechanicus Standard grey and Dawnstone for the engines Thinned Casandora Yellow shade Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Ardcoat over the Abbadon Black canopy as usual

#57 Green Ace belonging to Hype Fazon. You may have noticed I didn't do all the sponsor logos and stuff. Too small. Sorry. 1. Interesting putting 2 different hues of green next to each other and makes the yellow really pop. I like. 2. There is no #2   White Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer Moot Green base Sybarite Green layer Flash Gitz Yellow for the stripes Mechanicus Standard grey and Dawnstone for the engines Biel-Tan Green shade Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Ardcoat over the Abbadon Black canopy as usual

#58 is the Red Ace flown by Freya Fenris. I like this one, maybe I just like designs with white and red. and black. 1. This was a pretty good exercise in detail work again. A few really thin lines here and there and getting the hang of freehanding it. 2. For the emblem on the nose I started with a red triangle decal to get the shape in place. Then painted over it to get the design, because the red was more orange and it was a full triangle.   White Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer Ceramite White base Wazdakka Red layer Mechanicus Standard grey and Dawnstone for the engines little bit of Carroburg Crimson shade Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Ardcoat over the Abbadon Black canopy as usual

#59 Almost done. Blue Ace for Torra Doza. Nice curves on this one similar to Emon it makes for some nice brush movement. One more to go! 1. I had some difficulty with the basecoat. The Blue horror was a nice base but it needed something a bit more so i tried to lay down some thin Drakenhof but I ended up with some nasty tide marks so there are quite a few layers of layer and base there to get a clean finish. 2. The orange was really nice to lay in. The curves of this ship make for really smooth lines. 3. These tiny little emblem details is some of the tiniest stuff i've done so far. Mostly just dots...   White Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer Blue Horror base Very thin Drakenhof Nightshade Troll Slayer Orange layer Mechanicus Standard grey for the engines and guns little bit of Fuegan Orange shade Yriel Yellow for the stripes Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Ardcoat over the Abbadon Black canopy as usual

#60 Last ace! Black Ace flown by Griff Halloran. Group shot coming soon. 1. Seemed to struggle with this guy a bit. There are a lot of lines and designs and layers everywhere. It's a pretty intricate ship. 2. Size, spoke to Mel about this already but the size is kinda of off. It's so much bigger than the other aces so seems a bit out of place. 3. Love the ship design. Start with a TIE and go aggressive and go nuts. and mostly black.   White Mr Hobby Surfacer 1500 primer No proper base just went over the primer. Eshin Grey, Administratum Grey, Pallid Wych Flesh and Abbadon Black thin Contrast Apothecary White on the flesh to get the contrast and pull back a bit from the bone color Nuln Oil and Tamiya Panel Line Ardcoat over the Abbadon Black canopy as usual

    Hi Mel,
I'll second the call for any of your Mandalorian minis, but I also was looking at some of your EU minis. Specifically Kyle Katarn (what? no Jan?! 😉), Mara Jade, and Jaina Solo.

I'd say that all the minis that are offered for the Legion scale. If that's too much, then the ones related to the Mandalorian show and the Clone Wars/Prequels characters.
By the way, thanks for asking.
