    cracken uses Decoy to shoot last then gives Corran a free action Expose so on his second shot he gets 4 attack with target lock could be a nice trick

    Why wouldn't you just use corrans action to expose? Then you get the bonus twice.

    That's what I do.

    I don't want to see anything from Rebels.

    Remember, Ep VII is only 15 months away .. and FFG already has a monster range of models and related games set for release. I would much prefer to see them continue to create a great, well balanced game, fix known issues (Eg. Tie Advanced, Imp large ship) and fully develop exciting related materials than fill our tables with a salad of obscure EU rubbish. 

    What would I like to see? Scenario packs with new missions and terrain features, an imp large ship and well thought out fixes for known problems. 

    Who cares what you don't want? FFG?

    Why should they. All that matters to them is "do enough people want it?".

     

    And in the case of the Ghost and Gozanti the answer is an overwhelming YES.

     

    No salad of rubbish, just the important ships from a currently running, *fully canon* star wars property.

    Rebels is happening.

    I think wave 6 may be the worst selling.

    Not because of armada, but because a lot of people only play one faction and this set has nothing (or very little) for those 2 significant groups.

    Yep, except it gives me for example a faction that i really want to play over Empire or Rebels. Tastes. Not everybody is just empire or rebels.

     

    Such wisdom.

    No, not everybody is, but a hell of a lot are.

    Get it?

     

    I don't know a single person in my area that is just a "imperial or rebel", we mostly play what we want to play at the moment. In my zone i don't know a single person who isn't excited. Many people don't follow the game only for lore purposes, gameplay is important for them (myself included), and a new faction can open a new can of opportunities.

     

    I stand by my point.

    There are enough players on this forum who play one faction for me to feel it will make a difference.

    And enough EU haters.

    We'll see.

    I've also heard it argued (though I'm not entirely sure I agree, I'd like to see FFG FAQ it anyway), that you cannot 'guess 0', as the card specifically asks to guess the number of Evades Symbols to be rolled (edit: meaning it needs to be at least 1), not the number of Blanks. 

     

    Have fun with that  :unsure:

    But you wouldn't be guessing the number of blanks.

    If it didn't work it would be because 0 doesn't count as a number (some games it does, some games it doesn't).

     

    I'm sure we would have heard by now if this wasn't a valid move.

    We all know the new trilogy is coming, but what about the movies set to come out in between the trilogy chapters?

    (for those that don't know, we are getting a movie a year, alternating between trilogy and stand alone character based films).

     

    We only have rumors but they suggest a Fett movie, then a Han movie, then a movie starring the best character, Red 5.

     

    I've seen speculation here that the trilogy itself won't introduce loads of new ships (like the originals didn't) which makes sense to me.

     

    But if these other movies are going to delve back into the heart of the rebel vs imperial conflict maybe these are the ones that are going to lead to cool models for us.

     

    If the rumors are accurate that's 2 fringe setting movies (calling all scum).

    And a Red 5 movie? (squeals)

    It was a throwaway comment, I don't need slaying.

     

    I'm merely restating an opinion that's been voiced here by others:

    They didn't give us an epic yet because they don't want to muddy the marketing waters for Armada.

     

    Edit: actually, don't I remember you voicing it?

    Him and *many* others on this forum have been behaving this way. It got ridiculous over the weekend and made the situation much worse.

     

    And the 3rd faction wasn't *needed*. I would argue that the epic imp is.

     

     

     

    But even here, you're pretty much making my point.  What YOU wanted was far more important than what anyone else might have wanted. 

    You need to realize it wasn't a case of one or the other.

    I don't begrudge you wave 6. Why do we have to shut up for you to enjoy it?

    They are completely unrelated.

     

    Also, some of us play epic for fun. We field the big ships because its the main appeal of epic (for us).

    *Everyone* knows an Imperial epic is coming.

    Most of us know why it wasn't now. And it wasn't because of wave 6.
