Rauhughes got a reaction from Amuny in Seeds of Corruption. Reading, reading and more more more reading.
I'm piping in here right in the middle of OP and DAMaz. I think the added flavour the intricate back story and development is great for overall feel of the campaign, adding a level of involvement you didn't feel with Kindred Fire.
However, the walls of text are irritating and I feel a narrator and some more audio would enhance the experience even more so. There are many choices in the game granted, but we're not talking about hours and hours of script like there would be in a standard RPG computer game, so it feels like ffg could record the narration for the entire campaign in a day.
I just struggle to understand why they don't add this feature and it is by far the most requested on these forums.
Edit: for what it's worth, we take it in turns to narrate the text to each other. Some of us have grown to love the opportunity to add or own funny voices to characters. One of our parties Verminous impression is always the highlight of the weekly session. A bit of humour breaks up all the reading imo

Avric the bard is my personal favourite healer. If you can get the staff of light, 4 xp to get cacophony and understudy will generally give you all the healing and stamina recovery you will ever need, with the potential to 'cure' 6 health and 6 stamina on ever hero each round, without considering that surges can be spent to 'cure' two damage or fatigue, plus the lute. Guy gets crazy. Only real downside is you will rarely be attacking and your leash is quite short (3 spaces). It's fun spending about 10 stamina in a single round though
By far my favourite class/char combination in RTL, and still effective in classic descent.

I've just started running a squad with QuickDraw with nothing other than title and draw their fire. He's alongside howlie and is generally getting 1-3 turns of double-shooting with three dice and a howlie reroll. For 30 points he really helps tip that early damage exchange in my favour and gets the snowball going. If people go for him, great! If not he's still a PS 9 pilot and has won out a few games for me on that basis alone.
Not had chance to tinker around anymore with the ship but from my perspective it looks promising.

Dengaroo is probably not broken, just incredibly good and efficient. However, it is an incredibly NPE list to come up against. It removes a lot of standard x-wing gameplay from a match. Primary turrets. Constant dice mods. Modding your opponents dice. It very much feels like a dice-fest stacked in Dengaroo's favour. I for one don't want the game to go in the direction of 'oh well this card says you can't do that, or that, and this one says I get those aaaaaaand your dead. Good game.
    Bring back the dogfighting days!!

Rauhughes got a reaction from Rytackle in Worlds 2016 Prizes Announced
I dunno. I'm a practical guy. I like practical things. Thus I like prizes I'm gonna use. Alt art cards, tokens, dice, templates. All nice useable things. A hard copy of a sheet of cards where every card is the same? What am I actually going to do with that? It's not even a little thing like a coin I can throw in a box and forget about. Such a weird prize. I hope the print them on 6 foot squared boards. That'd be a hoot at least!
'And for the top four, off-cuts from the card factory in China!' Not really seeing the cloud go wild over that one myself.

I've seen Paul play in videos and I'd have to go back and check but I'm pretty sure he has the standard ten fingers. Out of interest what are the other 16 bikers going to do and how you going to decide who gets in on the action.
I for one wouldn't want to deal with sixteen finger-breaking bikers all revved up with no fingers to break

Not at all. Your hull upgrade fel has 2 hull left. I fire a proton torp at you from a scout. Hit hit blank eye. Free blank to hit (chips), free focus to crit. You roll evade, blank, blank. Palp a blank, spend an evade and take a direct hit. Your dead and Hull Upgrade made no difference. It is not 100%. Stop selling yourself a lie.

Except when you take 2+ damage on the kill shot and hull upgrade did nothing for you as you would have died without it too. It annoys me that people think hull upgrade ALWAYS works. It only does anything if you survive a shot with one hull remaining or your opponent has to spend a token to deal an additional damage to kill you. I'm the latter case 3 points to discard one token you can only trigger when you die is a terrible deal so that's almost null and void anyway.
I'm not saying stealth is better than hull, I just hate this myth that hull upgrade is always 100% effective when it isn't even close to being that good.

Rauhughes got a reaction from The Cocky Rooster in The Delve!
Without wanting to sound like a bit picker, I think there will be 3 'normal' stages and 0 - 4 boss fights, which would then correspond with the lieutenants you get with the boxes ( SoN for example comes with 4 new lieutenants, I'd be crazy to think that they don't all have a 'Boss' version in delve so that's leave you with 3 normal stages, which being the minimum would correspond to any exp that has no lieutenants (maybe mists or chains as it's the same lieutenants))
Pure speculation, but the maths looks good in my head

As a general rule of thumb, in this modern game of cat and mouse I find it best to take the initative (figuratively speaking) and force yourself on your opponent. So many squads nowadays want to prance around to get you into the right position. I would say being aggressive catches around 30-40% of players off guard in the current meta, which buys them on the back foot and allows you to then capatalise on this.
Obviously this is only really applicable in tourneys as in your local gaming group once you catch someone out once or twice they will clearly know what's coming
