  1. I'll say it but I think Poe Dameron is overcosted and hope he comes down in price with the next points change. There's no way that his ability (which isn't that much different from a linked action which comes on a lot of the ships natively) and going from 4 to 6 initiative is worth a whopping 18 points, or that he's 16 points better than Wedge in a T-65. Fenn Rau is the other pilot who has a similarly high cost vs highest generic (also 18 pts for 4 to 6 intiative plus his ability) but at least his ability is probably one of the best in the game (an extra dice at range 1 both ways). I don't know, I'm going through a period where I'm somewhat disappointed by the design of the T-70 in 2.0 in general, with its weird s-foils implementation (no native barrel roll?) and its lame ship ability (the very dull hardpoint addition), and the high cost of Poe stings. It's not like he doesn't then has to pay extra for his upgrades...
  2. Hmm, that's interesting. I've tested the AI moves by doing very unexpected things (like doing a 5 straight or 3 turn disengage when it makes no sense to do so) and the AI consistently puts their ships in places where I will end up, places where no human could predict. What's difference in the Aggressor AI compared to HOTAC? Still I appreciate all the effort you put into this.
  3. I've noticed this too, with this and the AI doing its moves based on your moves, it's become a bit frustrating playing.
  4. Do You Own Huge Ships Already? Yes, the Tantive IV and the Gozanti (I bought two of these for some reason and since sold one) Did You Play Epic in 1.0, or Were They Dustables? Never played with the large ships, still don't actually know how they work! Do You Plan to Play Huge Ships in 2.0 (in Standard/Huge/Epic battles)? Maybe, depends on how they implement the rules. I have Armada for my fix for larger scale battles though. Do You Plan To Play Epic Missions? Likely, depends if it's similar to HOTAC or just the old missions, which never really inspired me much to play them. What is Your Biggest Draw to Epic 2.0? Campaigns, possibility for squadron-level play.
  5. Resistance / FO. Cooler looking ships. More interesting conflict. Great mix of classic and new characters. Lots of potential as it's ongoing and expanding. I'd era lock them, and market the conflict as a quicker version of the game, a hit and run raid vs control and defense style skirmish to distinguish it from the GCW. In time, with new content they can increase the scope. I'm just not a fan of the CW designs, with the exception of the Radiant VII/Republic Consular-class cruiser and I don't find the conflict itself appealing.
  6. Couple of things. Ruthless isn't adding a damage to friendly ships and the bullseye isn't always registering targets clearly in arc when the T-70 has closed s-foils.
  7. I can't quite understand why BB-8 is the most expensive astromech (8 pts) given the restrictions on use (blue moves) and the 2 charges. He seems pretty expensive for that maneuverability, when you consider that the repair droids (4 pts each) are giving you a buff equivalent to 2x Hull Upgrade (5) and 2x Shield Upgrade (6). But then there's a lot about this game I don't understand.
  8. May have been mentioned before, but the FO Atmospheric Assault Lander (AAL) would be great to see.
  9. Depends on what your goal is. The right approach would be to think of the story that's being told and to improve/enhance that, rather than propose alternatives that drastically change the themes or character arcs. When you say that the Rey storyline needs more time so that Rey can be trained properly or to mature, I take that to mean that you want to see a different story with Rey that's in opposition to the intended goals of the writer/director. That doesn't sound like a pacing or timeline issue.
  10. I'd argue that's the point. She doesn't get trained by Luke and isn't supposed to. She's not on the island to get XP so that she can level up, she's there to bring Luke back to save the galaxy (and get some understanding of what's happening to her). Luke doesn't want to come back. So she goes off to get Ben to get him to save the galaxy. Her arc in the story is realising that she can be hero to save the galaxy. You're not going to get 'The Adventures of Master Luke and Rey'. Small rewrites aren't going to make that happen. It's fine to have wanted a whole new story entirely but arguing that key parts of the story we did get were unnecessary because they didn't conform to your ideal story isn't the right approach.
  11. It feels you're cramming too much into this (you've got days and days of space battles). And ultimately what you've done is replace one set of questions/issues with another fresh set.
  12. Thought so. I don't know whether Wave 2 has been released Stateside yet, but it's out for a week in the UK and it's equal parts baffling and disappointing to have the app not include any of the new content.

  14. The 3-packs I find very interesting and I hope to see more of that type of release for the other factions. It's a good way of release thematic repaints out there.
  15. Thanks for posting that. I really liked that design (probably my favourite of all the racer ships so far) and wanted to see more of it. It feels sufficiently Star Wars in its asthetics, without going too far, and importantly has a nice simple silhouette. It's basically what the Z-95 should have looked like.
