  1. So you think he's following Luke's path from Dark Empire. Following the Dark path to destroy it from within.... his costume really screams Luke's Dark Empire one too actually. But he's super pissed at Fin calling him traitor so does seem very much indoctrinated to the First Order.
  2. It's an Imperial ship with a turret on the roof
  3. Kinda interesting how little we saw of ships they had designed up in the concept art leeks from months ago. Like the Quadhopper which was clearly originally Rey's ship this one looked very cool too which looks like it has a pair of T-65 engines on it. also this big fighter I really liked the First Order landing craft, I've seen what could be close to x-wing scale version from Hot Wheels that comes bundled with a T-70 though there's also a Titanium series version, looks like it has a turret on the roof, not sure if it's a quad or a double barrel like a Y-wing.
  4. ...And where might one find said resin model? >3> https://starshipmodeler.biz/shop/index.cfm/category/40/star-wars---full-kits.html
  5. Bought the 1/48 AT-ST it's brilliant, I can't afford it right now but I want them all.
  6. Have you seen the original trilogy? how effective were stormtroopers in general? the one time they are super effective is when Vader is behind them at the start. Or sheer numbers when they assault Hoth. They are recruited and indoctinated to be loyal not effective. I think it captures that pulpy adventure feeling very well.
  7. good initial advice is try several thin coats till you get the coverage you want rather than one thick one that will details
  8. That is part of the crashed Aquila shuttle from the Warhammer 40,000 starter set a few versions ago. Great bit of thematic terrain. Here's the whole thing painted http://robjedi.blogspot.com.au/2013/10/crashed-aquila-shuttle-bit-of-airbrush.html
  9. Also that thread can spell Rogue
  10. It may actually be a gunner's pod. http://www.imperialshipyards.net/SMF/index.php?topic=5110.0 scroll down till you see the B-wing with the concept B-wing, the Rebels one looks like a combination of the two. If you go down further you'll find the concept AT-ATs as well.
  11. I'm still waiting to see the Ghost and Gozanti carrier from Rebels. I'd be happy to see new inverse TIEs and T-70s. I think FFG deliberately gave us the version of the Z-95 that they did so it would be different to the T-70 down the pipeline.
  12. No one mentioning it didn't just crash, it went down upside down. Or possibly rolled a few times.
  13. Interesting that the Corvettes seem to be scaled like the ones in X-wing rather than the much bigger size from the movies. They seem to be up gunned a bit too
  14. CyCo click the hyperlink to Armored YT-1300 in my sig
  15. Yes, actually I got it from the forums from an old Otana thread https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/92450-yt-2000-otana/ here is the file https://www.dropbox.com/s/h2qgrxi1oxtq26w/YT-2000_new.zip
  16. When I was looking at the cards it seemed hard to skip over B and it's free gunner effect for the cost of Mangler cannons. 1 point cheaper than Gunner and you get an auto crit out of the deal.
  17. Doh you're right http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/270257
  18. Well a mate just got a 3D printer and this was on the top of my get printed list: was going to use it as an Outer Rim Smuggler but it'd be cool to have an official one in scum. This thing needs a heap of sanding before I get it painted.
  19. guessing from here: http://www.starwars.com/tv-shows/star-wars-rebels/rebel-resolve-concept-art-gallery
  20. I liked it too, just saw a post naming the ship on the Star Wars Rebels facebook group. So just started googling it: 200 meters long 4 quad lasers (the turrets top and bottom) 4 double turbo lasers (the broadside guns) 4 missile tubes (2 per side between the broadside guns) it was in the Clone Wars show, there was even a LEGO kit I think
  21. YT9999 it was all done with plastic card cut into strips or panels and glued on. Though lots of the surface panels were etched. The goopy looking putty is just for gap filling not sculpting and is mostly sanded back. Green stuff is great for organic sculpting but not so great for hard edge sculpting.

    Forgot to post Corran's E-wing
  23. Those are the best card ones you can get but cost $20 for 4 printouts I beleive. You can't get that one as a PDF and rhe ones available as PDFs don't look good. Back to the GF9 ones, the towers and turrets stack with square pegs and sockets so you can't rotate the turret but you can have it change facing by 90 degrees. Which rules wise I think would be easier to manage: Turret has 90 degree firing arc like a ship which is easily worked out from the base of the tower, choose a facing at the start of the movement phase then ships can try and evade them. I'd make the turbolasers use the same rules as for the corvette's range 3-5 guns. The ion cannon though is a ball that fits in a dish base and can rotate as mych as you want, so a bit trickier to use. Might need something to work out arc on it. Rules wise I'd treat it the same as the turbo laser but say it deals 1 damage and however many hits you rolled in ion tokens so it can be effective at shutting down large or epic ships. For collisions I'd use the overlapping ship rules since you obviously can't stop on top of the things like an asteroid but you still roll for damage, so they are like a stationary ship with anti pursuit lasers.
