This thread have been mostly positive and people enjoying the show. Having some issues with the series finale doesn't mean I suck and can't enjoy star wars. You don't have to love everything just because you are a fan you know. 😉
For me it comes from the fact that this show was so good and when it suddenly felt a little mediocre it really stood out. For the series I would say it's the best live action star wars since rotj. Honorable mentions to the space battle in rouge one and the millennium falcon jakku scene in awakens.
However having this series finale being a single episode vs a 2-part like the first season really showed. It was over quite fast and left alot of questions. I wouldn't say bad, but it felt rushed to fix every thing brought up earlier in the series. Boba, the child, dark troopers, the dark saber... everything.
After season 1 I felt like I finally got some good star wars for a old trilogy fan and the sky was the limit. Now I wonder if this series got much juice left, they might surprise us with a bunch of new stuff in seasons 3 though. However I still had a blast with 15/16 episodes and that is saying a lot for a series like this. I would say the last 5 minutes felt rushed and that's about it. Unlike the last jedi that took a dump on the thing I love right in front of me, the season finale was just a small ***** in the beskar.
I just don't get the whole fans can't criticise or dislike something they like. It's such a fanatical way of viewing the world IMO.

It will be interesting to see what contingency really do and how well it will work.
I start to feel that we have a real bloat in the commander slot for empire/rebels. So many options at 100 ish points and it's gonna be hard to get a good internal balance. 

I had several moments in this last episode.
Me: "Is that a Juggernaut?"
Wife: "What?"
Me: "An A5, maybe an A6"
Wife: "What?"
Me: "Like an AT-AT with wheels"
Wife: "I guess..."
Later when they said "Juggernaut" I squealed with joy.
Me: "Shoretroopers!"
Wife: "What?"
Me: "From Rogue One. On the planet with the Death Star plans"
Wife: "Sure"
Then I went and got one of my legion figures off the table (it was still there from a game I played the night before with a friend).
Wife: "Yeah, I see them on the screen."
Mayfeld: "I'm going to go fill out those TPS reports"
Me: laughing so hard I'm nearly crying.
Wife: Laughing quite a bit as well.
Me: "I hope he remembers the new cover sheet on his TPS report"
Wife: Laughing

The main reason we have mandalorian show is that boba fett costume in Empire, might as well tip the hat. In Empire he is pretty much all he needed to be, a evil cool looking dude with a fancy ship that outsmarts Solo's trick and delivers him to Vader and then Jabba. A cool side character that makes a cool action figure. Then for some reasons he is given a pretty lame "death" in Jedi, but nostalgia about the best movie in the series is strong.
Granted the fan service boba action montage was a little much, but hey if they give him the axe in the seasons finale (leaving slave 1 to mando since he got no ship now) as I'm predicting then at least he might get a cooler end this time around. 
I did squee when gideon launched the dark troopers though. God I love the Kyle katarn games 😋

It was a really good episode, I even enjoyed the fangasm boba fett moment. Also the reveal of dark troopers was amazing as a dark forces fan. Will we see a mortar heavy weapon for stormtroopers?

They could easily FAQ this, however it's pretty much like bringing ion and impact. It might be completely useless in some matchups.

From a rebel player who have used the harpoon quite a bit in the early days of legion. Not only do you need to put yourself in position without being blown out of the sky. Your attack needs to be without cover otherwise you have a 1/8 chance of hitting (2/8 with new rrg). Then your opponent still have a save so often 33% or 50% of ignoring your harpoon when you actually manage to hit then. In the rare instances I managed it either the at-st still did an aim shoot from spotter and another time, I couldn't get every unit out of arc with a 90° pivot. He was either gonna shoot some of my troopers or my speeder without moving.
Granted it is still a very fun thing to try and do, but it is such a jank ability. Very hard to pull off and it rarely have a big effect and of course not much more than a suppressor vs non vehicle lists. I say stick with the ground buzzer 🤣

They did however do alot of the changes I have been talking about for so long. Scale to wookies, surge crit for the airspeeder, the bad generic 1 pip command cards for civil war. 
Stuff like field commander as a commander and open transports. This makes me sad they kicked Alex though since this is a major patch for most problems with this game.
 

Bought and painted a second airspeeder just in time for a major buff. Point adjustment down to 130 is crazy and surge-crit?

Been waiting for new rules and points to come out so haven't bought any of the new expansions. Gonna keep from buying untill we get some real information. Kicking out the guy who designed the game is just a **** move so I have no faith in this moving forward.
