  1. It wouldn't be the first time a game I play gets cancelled or dropped. Not gonna take any chances.
  2. Haven't bought anything of the newest stuff and been waiting for the new rules reference. With the vague information we are getting I'm gonna hold of buying anything new untill we learn more. Who knows what kind of changes we will see or if legion is gonna be turned into a legacy game in favour of new stuff.
  3. I love how this thing have worked out. People running around to stores hoping they got em, some stores or countries won't get any. Stores can sell them fro whatever they want making some getting them from free or even multiple copies for free while some go for 150+$. People scalping them on ebay for a bunch and people being salty for not getting one watching people posting they got multiple copies. You really did the community good with this one FFG...
  4. Out early is a bit late, been playing legion since start. Buying alot less models now though due to price increases or the models I want being out of stock. Limited edition stuff is just annoying in any mini game since it's mostly for ebay scalpers, but not a deal breaker. Most third party is pretty good, but even with some nice resin prints the quality is not the same and shipping costs makes the cheaper argument go out the window. I'm just venting since all these things along with cancelling the customer support stuff is alot of negative steps IMO for the future of this game. Not being able to get my hands on exclusive or regular reprints of expansions and seeing others share the same frustration is a bit disheartening.
  5. Units keep going out of stock, prices gone up and now more exclusive models I can't get. Getting less interested in buying stuff for this game 🙃
  6. Cool mini, it's gonna make alot of ebay sellers rich. Doubt we will have much chance of getting one outside the us. Enjoy
  7. It would be good if you got something for spending dodges, taking a dodge action is rarely a good thing as you rather double move with your jedi characters and use force reflexes for the extra dodge or command cards.
  8. @Caimheul1313 I agree somewhat on the only competitive players. However I have heard that in both x wing and armada. Both games in my local area/country made the games harder for new players since most established groups is/was tournament focused so the learning curve and buy in both in learning the game, meta and erratas + buying expansions for fix cards was high. So if you only play at home it's no problem, but in organised groups is usually standard with the tournament rules. I just don't want legion to go through the same cycles as x-wing 1.0, but it's probably to late to change it. I still enjoy the game though. Maybe their new bombshell errata/point changes will convince me otherwise.
  9. Yes, but you wont have incorrect information printed on cards to confuse people. For competitive players the current system is fine, all though it's boring to have some iconic units rarely hit tables. Point adjustments and potential fix cards are a halfway measure at best, but at the least the new expansions will keep being cool. I think future wargames will have more fluid and digital rules and stats for a faster and easier way of doing balance. Will be interesting to see.
  10. Printed book no, digital book yes. Granted you can use a pdf of all the erratas but there will be so much to keep track on eventually and you can't do much with the printed weapons and such on the cards. I have already faced people that didn't know the point changes or range changes for snipers in tournaments. When half the units/upgrades have some point change and or errata why even have cards when they will mostly display wrong information. Using digital tools like the x-wing app (a better one though) they have the option to change anything on the units. Speed, dice, add weapons, remove weapons. That would be the best IMO. However even if we don't go this way, legion is already doing what x-wing 1.0 did and I don't think people will like what comes next. Will have to see what happens though.
  11. If you go with 3 strike teams, you would want 3 boxes. However I think 2 boxes is the more practical option
  12. They did a small point increase on the classic strike teams. However unless you want to use 2 or more expensive special forces units you can't go wrong with 2-3 strike teams since they are so powerful for the point cost even after the increase. Promoting 3 strike teams is a great move though. It would be great for ffg if every clone player buys 3 arc trooper boxes. Do you need to go with max strike teams to be successful? No, but it sure helps you add activation to any lists. Range 5 attacks with pierce that is probably the strongest weapon keyword in the game (lethal for the newer once ofc) and the trooper unit type to hold objectives. It's a great deal for any list. In my analysis of a prime championship there was 21 strike teams for 20 players. An average just above 1 per player, despite half the armies being clone wars era before arc troopers and bx. Only one tournament ofc, but 2 strike teams for me feels like auto include unless I really want to play with something special in the special forces slot.
  13. Will be interesting to see what they do with the new change. However with all these point changes and erratas, there isn't much point to keep this focus on upgrade cards and unit cards. If alot of information is gonna be incorrect on them, why not just go with army books and have free room to change units keywords, dice and points. It Some units will be fine with just point reduction and small erratas, but if they keep inventing new keywords and push powercreep with new expansions, the core problem will remain.
  14. The biggest problem in legion is that I still can't field the Ewok glider. Come on FFG!
