  1. It's not a birth certificate so I can't see why not?
  2. 18 pieces? I want to see the pics. I didn't think there was that many pieces to it.
  3. It's ok to talk to yourself. The problem is when you start answering yourself. LOL.
  4. The only reason why the Prequels get a lot of hate around here is because people grew up. If they didn't have Original Trilogy Star Wars when they grew up, and are adults now. (most cases not all cases.) The Original Trilogy would be getting the same hate just like the prequels if most people watches Star Wars with adult eyes. I really do hope we get some prequels. I think a lot of people want them. You know what they say, it's the Internet Minority that is the loudest. So I am guessing it's the Internet Majority that is quiet that want the Prequel ships. Let's not go down the "Prequels vs. OT movies" path. It only leads to anger, and hate. Let's focus on where the ships belong. I get that fans of those films and the stories that grew up around them want to see their ships on the table. But shoehorning them in as refurbished antiques, with little to no precedent for their presence in the rebellion-era EU, hardly seems like a fair deal for anybody. If your love for these ships is lore/fluff based, why do you want to see them so completely out of their setting, which is the Clone Wars era? I realize it's logical to imagine that there are extant examples of all the craft of the Clone Wars still kicking around during the Rebellion era, but their heyday was the Clone Wars, and that's where they would really shine in a game. In a clone wars setting, you would have access to all the droid, clone and Jedi pilots these craft had, and you wouldn't have to make excuses for their appearance and clash with entrenched OT fans. And those fans have a good point too. From a lore perspective, there is little concrete evidence that Clone Wars era ships were used in the Rebellion era, Y-Wing aside. There are no ARC-170s, V-Wings, V-19s, Eta-2s etc. in evidence in any of the movies, and a vast majority of the EU games and literature. From their perspective, these ships are an unwelcome intrusion. It's a game? It's for enjoyment. We are already using our imagination for lasers that go "pew pew" Who cares if these ships are 30 years obsolete. Are you telling me that all the rules in X-wing are real and we can't subvert our imagination? I am sure especially with all these cards we are using our imagination and a lot of the rules on the cards really don't represent real life. So why bring in real life mechanic of saying something is 30 years old it can't be shouldn't be used because it doesn't make sense in real life. Clone Wars setting, Star Wars setting EU setting, it's all STAR WARS, so it shouldn't make a difference. Star Wars is Star Wars. Hell lets go one better. Technology hasn't changed in over a 1000 years with Knights of the Old Republic. So what is a mere 30 years compared to the 1000 years for KotR?
  5. Where is the imoicon with the jaw hitting the floor? That is great.

I am really looking forward to the Jedi Star Fighters. I would even love to get some of the mini star destroyers that the Clones use as well for the bigger ships.
  7. I say keep them all. Why? In a few years when your kids grow up they will want to play with them. Now you have spares for when something goes missing, breaks, or gets ruined. Keep them. Keep your self happy so your kids will be happy when they will want to play with them.
  8. It looks like this. You drop the dice in the top. It makes it less likely that the dice will fall off the table and prevents the occasional off roll (like when you roll the dice and they just land and don't roll). I dislike them, its like eating pizza with a fork and knife. Thank you for the answer, greatly appreciated.
  9. In todays age of everything being so expensive it's hard for a new IP to take off. It's always easier to go off on something that has been established. That is why Star Trek was rebooted. Sequels were just sucking so bad, but they still wanted to milk of money out of the Star Trek name, it's been rebooted. So it's easier to use Star Trek because the name is out there, the characters are known so it's easier to use something that people already know about and not much explaining is needed, especially for a 2 1/2 hour movie.
  10. Wrong. Now if you are talking about 7th edition then maybe. Still with restrictions though.
  11. Oh great another, lets throw everything out the window and it didn't mean anything and anything you liked means nothing now. I HATE REBOOTS for series. Battlestar Galactica was an interesting way of doing it. It took me years to get into it, because as I said, I hate reboots. When I finally did watch it, I liked it, shockingly for me. It didn't make the original obsolete at all, as I feared it would do. It payed homage to it. So maybe there is hope. BUT how do you make a reboot in 2 1/2 hour move and do it justice? These take time and the move will not be able to accomplish what the series did if it is going to be a reboot. I see another Star Trek coming. Maybe everything will like Apple products? Maybe it is Babylon 5 90210 just like Star Trek so the General Audience will get into it? Worried. Really worried. Reboot on TV, they can get away with it, and do justice to it. 2 1/2 hour move? Be scared. Very scared.
  12. That is what I was about to say. Just wish I played it more. Only reason I couldn't play it, was when you paused the game, you can't issue any orders or build orders for your planets. I am just not capable of playing RTS games.
  13. Thank you Buhallin, I didn't know that. Nice to know.
  14. I don't know much about X-wing so this is why I am asking. The Scum of the Villany, is that a new faction or is it the Empire can use them only? Not sure what the discussion is about. Why wouldn't the Rebel players be able to use them? After all, it's who has the money who can use them. You telling me the Rebels never hired Bounty Hunters ever? TL;DR Is this a new faction or Empire Faction only? Why can't Rebels use them?
  15. Explain me this then. Painted minis are cheap, unpainted, unassembled minis cost 5X more. Complain about what you will about WizKids, they prices are still cheaper than the alternative. Sorry for being off topic. On topic now. I wonder if this will dilute the X-wing. By that I mean, isn't WizKids now and I guess FFG by giving out the licences watering down the Flight Path system now? For someone who doesn't know, and see X-wing for the first time, then can groan and then say, "great, another Flight Path System game, how unique." I forget which game made the Flight Path system unique, then X-wing adopted it, made it cool, but now, with WizKids having a licence I can start seeing this as another board game now. The uniqueness that X-wing I believe made popular (because I never herd of it until X-wing came out) the flavour might become stale now with too much Flight Path games out there now.
  16. I always liked the quote "Who is the more foolish, The fool or the one who follows the fool?" or something to that effect. Could never remember exactly how it goes.
  17. Too bad those guys didn't ask what licences they have for what ships to make. This way we can find out once and for all if we are to get any Prequel ships Episode I, II and III or if we will get Episode VII ships later as well.
  18. Well, now we have an answer as to why we need Prequel ship from Episode I, II and III. This way we can put in Obi Wan into the mix. We really need that Jedi Star Fighter for the minis. Now the question will be, how can we have 8 year old Ani, Brooding Skywalker on Rebles side, with Darth Vader on Empire side in the same game.
  19. How are we suppose to have money to buy all the products that FFG is giving us now?
  20. And here I thought it was a Battles Star.

    "Boop" 2.0

What's a boop? I don't get what it's suppose to be. Pew Pew, I understand but boop?
  23. Scratching a different itch? You mean Capital Ship combat? That is what I thought Star Trek Attack Wing was for. To have capital ship combat. Will have to wait and see how good it is. I mean right now, I have my itched scratched with Attack Wing.
