I'm going to be building a full 4x6 table for my local game store that is just now branching into Mini's with the release of RW. I'll just be building a storage box under the tabletop for different sized and style terrain mats to be rolled out for various games. I'm assuming that FFG will follow their practice for x-wing and release nice game mats for Runewars...and I'll probably pick those up if they do make them. My buddy is thinking of making an actual board but he may have given up on that.

Maybe I'm just picky, but spending years upon years in some for a service industry position and being regulars at several stores ranging for tradition art stores to video game stores to games stores (independent and GW) I will say I think it is always ridiculous when people only give short or curt answers to any question where someone is trying to get information on differences of products/techniques/opinions. It is bad for business and in the tabletop gaming world it help kill the stores that we play at because bad employees send people to online stores to buy product. I just don't get the whole thing, why make people feel they don't belong or you are wasting their time...

I agree with @Budgernaut, I think I have started several post like that, If all you want is big units your best bet using core boxes to fill out the extra models or buy them from ebayers that are breaking down the cores to sell individual components (that how i'm going to get my 4th carrion lancer) it will probably be the most cost effective. With reanimates and spearman? we have no idea the size of the unit in the expansion, my bet is they will follow the pattern from cav and archers and release the same size that comes in the core, hopefully for only a bit more $$ like 30 or something, in regards to the control dial? maybe there will be two in it maybe not, I don't want to speculate that far though I would hope they go with two for the people wanting to run MSU lists. I don't understand this army type but other seem to really dig it so I hope they aren't punished into dishing out ridiculous money for the ability to run it...if they do release an expansion with 4 trays of skellz(for you @Muz333)/spearz(there I did it again) but only one dial I will wonder why they even bothered making a 2x1 option for those if it is going to be stupidly costly to run... The blue is almost how the boxes are priced the only difference is that you get extra cards, since after the price reduction every store should be using the box will be between $20-22 2 boxes then gets you 8 horses or 16 archers and runs $40ish

I'd like to see this game take on Lore how Privateer Press took it on, slowly ramping up lore with each major release as well as having a page or two about each unit in the game (army books for PP maybe just part of the insert that comes in the each expansion here) eventually novels would be a cool Idea but I think fleshing out the lore while expanding the game is a better starting place for now, Yes I understand that there is a decent amount of lore from the other games already but it is not as available to many of us who are really only getting into the world with this game.

But really what bothers me more here is that text typing is far to commonly used, u is not a word, r is not a word, y is not a word...this made sense when you texted on a number pad and texts could only be less than 150 characters or some garbage like that, but now...it's just annoying...especially when people do it when using a keyboard or something, we seem to have been getting off topic again...I'm back on the buying 2 cores boat after selling some old games I never played on ebay.
