  1. yes in that case as long as your charge doesn't negate your shift speed, also you should get that cough looked at!

Honestly, I don't want to see thing...1) If it is a mid game change it will slow play down, and that would be annoying enough 2) To remain balanced, which is the reason you see the set formations with point costs as opposed to WFB style of just a min unit then add what ever you want, the cards would have to also have a very specific formation you can shift into for very specific units, which honestly can be accomplished without the change of shape and just have more options similar to Column Tactics. I feel that it is more likely we will just see different units with more unique formations...

So as @Tvayumat pointed out in one of his many topics, either here or on FB the launch kit mentions the campaign coming with this game...I wish it was already out because I want all the things and I want all the things now...But mainly I want to see what it brings to the table and what can be adopted for league play. I'm honestly not expecting much non-homebrew leagues to show up for this game because in the past FFG has done a very good job of tournament resources (which will easily be adapted to a league type play) but I can't think of any real league OP. I could be wrong but I digress. The talk of campaign is completely ambiguous that I am now trying to figure out want we will see from it and what I hope to see from it...and the main thing I really hope to see is a build your own hero type thing, it was one of my favorite things Infinity had in their Spec Ops character. Also there was that super interesting looking X-wing thing that did the same thing I don't remember what it was called but I know it has been mentioned a lot here through out various conversations of what other people are hoping to see in regards to support. Also a map in the campaign info would be nice... So what about everyone else?
  4. 200 point games are a whole other glorious monster, I have been doing the 200point games for the battle reports but then have to drop back into the 100pt skirmish games for the league nights at my FLGS since, not everyone has been able to meet up with their trade partners yet and only have core sized armies...I'm going to end up having to buy everything I realize now...the game is just too much fun and I want all the options...
  5. there are so many better systems than DnD...IMHO for general roll playing I like Savage Worlds, the FFG star wars system is great for cinematic game play, Iron Kingdoms is basically narrative warmachine...the D20 just seems...bland and slow to me now...

  7. if you like the two core factions and can afford it second core is definitely the way to go!
  8. Or they could just retcon the lore around runewars, or use this as a starting point for all lore from this point on, and eventually do some stuff to cover the other times...
  9. I feel like a lot of the initial 6 month from reveal to release was because they were still working on a lot of mechanics to make sure they worked properly. While yes there is still a decent amount of balancing involved in a new faction, it should not be the same pace as they had with the initial launch. Also it already looks like the expansions are going to release close enough to their intended time frame that I feel comfortable that we will see the Latari and Uthuk early to mid Q3...

    Objectives

    spikes only deal damage not wounds...so one bump into Ardus should deal 3 damage causing 1 wound, unless you defended then Ardus can pinball around at defense 4 and not take any damage...I would not recommend that though.
  11. 3x6 flows perfectly for this game, would not want to play on 4x6 as is would just add an arbitrary extra turn of walking forward.

  15. I believe that the pigmentation is different in the Quickshade than for the minwax...also the army painter inks match the similarly named dips... I've never used minwax for anything other than staining wood though, I did know a guy from a previous gaming league that switched to the army painter dip once it was released from using minwax, he said it got a more distinct shading...

Saying you lied to me because you said I wouldn't have to buy outside of faction and just spoiled a card that is meh for any released models besides the one that it was spoiled with is an argument that confuses me... because it is dumb...if I have to wait for a neutral card like column tactics that is BARELY applicable to anything I currently have, until I get some unit that can actually be awesome using it, or play dramatically different using it, then I will wait for that card...that doesn't translate to "well you will have to always buy everything or else fail" in my book...

  19. this would be my go to also before putting column tactics on a reanimate block, because you can either get the 3 threat 3 reroll results @drkpnthr mentioned for cheaper, or you can get 4 threat 3 reroll...Column Tactics...oh that card is causing so much fun...I wish they had previewed a different card for the riders...
