Just throwing this out there, it looks like we are in the boat because of the split release of the 1st wave...because it really looks like going forward if all neutral cards are coming out in each wave...I don't know and I'm primarily basing this theory off column tactics...which has been a stupidly heated discussion. But I feel that right now no one is on the ledge and know one really is trying to be offensive they are all just seeing a narrow scope. I could be wrong but I just think outside of the split wave FFG is showing that neutral cards will be releasing across all factions in the waves... I also think with that we are going to start seeing a LOT more faction only upgrades...
  2. Small request when show the list as a text file to copy can it show point values? I'm not sure how difficult that is and it is a minor thing so you can probably ignore it!
  3. Hooray a peaceful resolution! Thanks everyone for the comments and such! Next thing we post might be an audio thing talking about stuff...and things... Like strategy and releases, and how I want an army of worms to devour my opponents. Also I'm busy working on modding all my daqan bros to be Shadow Council Daqan slaves and such...so many arrow wounds...need to make a few with arrows in the knees...they used to be adventurers and all...HAHA dated humor...well that is my little contribution for today...off to sell more GW stuff I have lying around...and finish the whole painting stuff...and well gah it never ends...ramble ramble ramble... If anyone is ever in the Orlando area and you would like to be a guest opponent let me know and I would be happy to fail at playing a faction again! I will roll the right dice this time though soooooo yeah... @Tvayumat we will need a rematch in like the next 5 years when you make it back to the swamp...by then Uthuk will probably be out to so I will be able to play my skels...   6. Wanting four factions fleshed out doesn't mean we don't want to see more factions it just means we don't want to see factions for the sake of factions. Personally I would love to see more factions but I know that if they are not done well then we will just be buried in 4-6 different units for 10-20 factions where one or two factions will be cycled through the "just got a new release and is now the only thing competitively viable" situation. I really REALLY don't want to see that...and going slow with the big expansions is how you avoid that the most...Also I think someone already mentioned it but if the game just is all about cross faction army building then that kinda throws the whole only need to buy your own faction thing out the window...
  7. @Willange I think we will see some neat cav in a week or two and we will see things pop out of the printer around the same timeto have a unified wave 2(or 3?) release filling the holes in each faction...
  8. BWAHAHAHAHAHA I've already started modding my daqan stuff into waiqar slave legion...arrows and sword hilts sticking out of them...they are going to be all pail necrotic flesh with glowing eyes and blight oozing from them...

For a damage dealing tar pit Weapon Master, he adds a red die which 1)makes blight SLIGHTLY less effective against the block of spears, 2) it is a potential increase of 10 damage in a 3x3 with FRG 3) does not need to be exhausted, if you want the defense buff take shield wall to protect against a hit...I know it is only one attack but still. 4) I don't have a 4 it just seemed like a better idea to add one more topic and end on an even number.
  10. I'd rather they get the 4 factions out, and work on those to keep them well made and balanced. Slowly add new units to them and grow them into fully formed armies with strengths and weaknesses then possibly launch a new faction or two... Going with too many factions too fast will just ruin the game IMO...
  11. Wow, this discussion is really heated, and I had no input...I feel so left out lol. But I agree with @WWHSD cards have to match unit type and army faction, not unit faction. Unit faction is only a thing for army building, if you get abilities like AM's and Kari's then you add an out of faction unit to your army. Outside of fluff these are not allies or anything, they are just a unit in a Waiqar ARMY or Daqan ARMY so If you want to throw in a group of dumbface crossbowman into AM's Waiqar army they can be equipped with combat ingenuity because they are in a Waiqar army. You are not running a Waiqar Army with a little side army of daqan bro's who just decided they might give bones a chance, they are part of the Waiqar army...
  12. I'd take master crafted weapons and Combat ingenuity on a worm death star turn all your surges into hits...lots of hits...

  14. Archers, Lancer, and Ardus can roll accuracy, if Ardus had fortuna's dice he can just set his die to accuracy.
  15. I thought Rank Discipline was in something else already...I assume it will either be in the reanimates or lancer box...probably the lancer since it is really the only other unit that regularly would benefit from it...

  17. I made a thread called magnets how do they work on showing how to do this... one change I suggest is using 1/10 inch magnets instead of the 1/16 i used apparently those for the hole without the need for putty just glue them in.
  18. I cut the sides of the puzzle piece that sticks out of the base off so out was just wide enough to slide into the corresponding hole then drilled holes into the base to flush sink magnets into the trays... not sure if I like it or not...
  19. you could also throw them on a block of worms...they get a lot of surges potentially, so you could dial in a hit, roll damage basically turn everything to a hitthen multiply by 3, max damage 6 from the dice with that set up and then 1 from the dial, 21 damage? for a unit that ends up with more damage soak of 54...

  23. Yeah but most S1 morale tests are just get more panic...steadfast has saved me a lot in past games...

I learned Infinity from the guys that own Warsenal and used to finish in the top 10 of ITS, that game is complicated but I love it...wish I still played it more...Top quality models, that to me are better than anything I see coming out of GW...and an actually fun game system...but I like RWM more just because idk I just have not not enjoyed a game yet even when I am being destroyed...but I can understand if the models aren't your cup of tea and you don't want to invest your time and energy into painting things you don't like...
