SPOILERS!!! Mando Chapter 13. Spoilers and speculation
KCDodger replied to drail14me's topic in X-Wing Off-Topic
Luke is a possibility. Right now he's building a new Jedi Order and Ben Solo is... About 4-5 years old right now. Ezra is slightly more likely, but I'm not banking on him. Ahsoka's on her own quest, away from Din and Grogu. Cal is a possibility, but I doubt it severely. Seems strange to me he'd appear before his Jedi: Fallen Order 2 appearance. Y'all expectin' Kyle Katarn though, as a Jedi, listen the time lines up for Legends but thiiiis ain't Legends. I'm... Not expecting it. Cool as it'd be. -
It's honestly amazing he went on so long... But, it is a sad day.

This is the cool part about being a Pagan. I have my beliefs but I'm not about to say others are false.

They couldn't get anyone who sounded less like Finn tbh. -
That Yeet dude.
-
He still hasn't proven instant fossils!
-
Listen, I've always preferred running beefy generics because running THE HEROES does about as much for me as... Well think of something vulgar that isn't good, I guess. idk man, Hyperspace can be cool and good but I like having good generic choices, dammit.
-
It's grossly transparent Hyperspace is being used as the "buy pls" format and it has like... Very few interesting options. Don't get why so many factions have so few generic options like, come on I don't even LIKE running named pilots most of the time... Ugh. Names names names! Come on. This sucks.
-
Not often we agree, but on this? Entirely.
-
To get ME SPECIFICALLY to buy even MORE.

That’s ... that’s a TIE Mangler !

Wh- No it's not! -
He still hasn't proven fossils forming instantly.
-
Wow that is terrible. Thank you for sharing.
-
We're waiting.

Go find some bones. Go make some fossils. You clearly know how. I want you to prove this to me, show us how fossils form instantly. Explain how.
-
Oh that's unfair. What's the rundown?
-
Oh that is, that is not good. The B-Wing will have a special instrument in the cockpit to track its body's position, according to Ian Frasier. So no matter what it ends up doing in its bomber role, it will fly like NOTHING else..! As for the TIE Defender, it'll be a hardy fighter that'll be hard to kill that cannot power shunt. What Imperials do with that will be really interesting, but I wholly expect to see people who are more comfortable with New Republic ships jump in on that.
-
You need to prove that claim.
-
It's less draining and more disappointing honestly. But yeah, kudos to you too.

Don't suspect there'll be any real use for the Quasar or MC-80. They both lack attackable "Landmarks" that the MC-75 and ISD-II have. The BFF-1 would make an utterly fantastic little bit of obstacle. Gozantis would be very fun for protected group spawns - GR-75s could do the same thing. Lambdas could work for objective modes if they ever add them. I'd like a New Republic equivalent to the Quasar but as of yet none exists, except maybe the Pelta and that's very very very up to debate as Phoenix Home was absolutely a unique craft. The Rebellion as a whole just, lacked small scale carriers but largely because they flat out did not need them. But yes, the MC-80 will likely never see competitive play. Like I said, it has zero landmarks to attack.
-
We're honestly just tired of wasting our time.
-
They never said that..! They said "No plans". Which is corporate for "Maybe, if it does well." Oh, easy. TIE Defenders will not have power shunts like the TIE/LN does. No shielded ship has had both and I highly doubt that'll change here. If anything, flying the TIE Defender will be a lot like flying the X-Wing, which is great news for me since that's my ship of choice in the game! Oh yikes who got fired? Can't think of anything the T-Wing can honestly do differently. TIE/v1 would be an interesting shielded interceptor choice though tbh. I guess the T-Wing could be unshielded and be the only New Republic ship with a power shunt... The XG-1 was straight up my pick for balancing the B-Wing, but they went crazy with this one so like alright sure why not? E-Wing, can't think of any advantage it'd have over the X besides alternate weapons and being more nimble. They'd be genuinely better off adding the T-70. Hmmm. I do like the idea of the TIE/v1 being a shielded interceptor choice. They're already considered close to the A-Wing here, so an Imperial True A-Wing equivalent would be wild...
