  1. Hit me up on Discord. DM me for details.
  2. Hey y'all. If you need to hit me up on Discord to keep talking to me, DM me. I'm gonna' miss these forums. They've been a part of my life since late 2013. Just over six years. Through all the ups and downs it was my main place to go for any and all Star Wars content. I hope we can maintain contact.
  3. Oh yeah, I definitely caught that, it was great.
  4. Sorry I must have missed all the guy power scenes for the last entire series
  5. Five years and you guys still can't tell a T-65 from a T-70? And you call yourselves X-Wing players..!
  6. Hot doesn't matter when she's a transphobe and anti masker. I love huge strong women as much as the next person, but even the hottest of women are not immune to my ire. Thanks, Fig. I can always count on you to be a real one. No, not different than us. Intolerant and indifferent to our suffering and plights and willing to encourage more brutish carelessness. When a Viking calls you careless, you've made a terrible mistake. That is worthy of ire. I don't believe in end of life redemption either. A few nice words and a sparkle in the eyes cannot undo a lifetime of causing misery. Not saying that such is Gina's, case, but well. Vader's "Redemption" is, let's just call it personal and only to Luke. Please, I hardly hate George Lucas. If nothing else I would thank him for all he's done were I to meet him personally and probe his mind about the creative process of writing Star Wars. It would be an interesting discussion to be certain, one writer to another. Homage is one thing, but a season of fan service is another. The Like-Poetry-It-Rhymes philosophy is... Foolhardy.
  7. This is a pretty decent take, though I will say I did somewhat enjoy the girl power scene in Infinity War quite a bit because it was so utterly unapologetic. But yes. It immediately stood out to me they were all women, large in part because I... kinda' wondered where the **** Bo-Katan's other lackey went. That was an odd departure for that character, lmao. Even still, I strongly enjoyed so many (pretty hot) women kicking ***. Except for Gina Carano. She can find the nearest object to run into and do her best impression of a certain blue hedgehog at full force at it. B***h.
  8. First episode and the one where Boba showed up proper. The rest, well... Gotta' be honest. I do not wanna' see so many heavy hitters in the rest of the series. I want something divorced from The Skywalker Saga and The Mandalorian literally could not help itself. Four different lightsabers this season. Drove me ******* nuts, hate it. Season 1 was much more interesting and daring and the Dark Troopers, while very cool and menacing, were a total waste so that we could finally see Luke power scaling and give fans the Luke they cried the last three years for. The whole season felt like wish fulfillment to me. Honestly, it was wish fulfillment and not a whole lot else. I vastly prefer the story of Season 1. Okay but should they? Honestly? I don't think so, personally. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I don't know. Like TRoS there was cool stuff in the moment but the longer I sit on it, the poorer it ages, this season. Whole lotta' wish fulfillment and "hey you asked for it well here it is" like okay I get it Mando is a vehicle for other characters to get their own shows can we please go back to mando being the ******* main character again?
  9. Mh, I forgot about the Yahg. Entirely and completely. Real big power players to be.
  10. 😕 Y'all hold onto legends way too hard, and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight is my second favorite Star Wars game, The Moldy Crow my favorite ship. Think on that.
  11. Krogans would be in a good position if the Genophage was cured. They can live basically forever and could absolutely breed armies in the time it takes to get from point A to point B. Turians have loads of military might. Salarians are likely not in a good state. Humans are in a bad state as well and very very very scattered. Asari will likely be just fine. Quarians... Should be okay. Batarians are screwed. Elcor should be okay. Volus should be fine. Hanar, fine. Drell, no reason to be doomed utterly but not doing great. Vorcha will be okay. Rachni, jury's out on them. Should be okayish?
  12. All very ture and good points sure, but they're not doomed is what I'm saying.
  13. Y'all are CRAZY with this Kyle Katarn angle. You finally got to see Luke Skywalker at the height of his power and you aren't happy? ****.
  14. So this is just incorrect flat out. I need to address this quite badly. People very easily forget that FTL travel is still a thing in Mass Effect. Yes, Mass Relays definitely are helpful but are very far from the end-all-be-all of space travel. Indeed, the entirety of Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place with absolutely zero Mass Relay tech (technically. It IS strange that the Angara's weapons - not The Kett's, used the same or similar mass driver technology that utilizes Eezo as the Milky Way races' weapons did...), so it was no trouble. Sure, travel was more limited but did it feel very slow to you all at all? Didn't to me. But the thing is, FTL was used plenty in the original game. https://masseffect.fandom.com/wiki/FTL So, yeah. Nobody's stranded or abandoned. Not to be a jerk but it does pay to pay attention to the lore of the setting itself. Granted, as a kid I slaved over the codex and memorized a majority of it. Andromeda's, "Tempest" can travel at 13LY/D. The Milky Way is roughly... 100,000LY end to end. From edge to core, 50k. If my math and measurements are right, The Citadel in its original position, where it currently is not but hey, you know, why not use this - is ~13,500LY away from earth. Girlfriend helped with a little math here, that'd be about... Ah, yikes. 1,038 days travel. That seems a little excessive, but hey. It's about right if the sluggish pace of 13LY/D is to be believed. Unless my math is all frakking wrong and it's like... 138 days. Okay, so 2.8y to get to The Serpent Nebula from The Local Cluster is pretty bad, especially compared to the Mass Relay nigh hours time, but... Here's the thing. How hard are Mass Relays to build, really? Why NOT build your own networks. The Crucible happened and though it took everyone... Well... Everyone's at Sol at the end of 3. Might... as well try to build a relay. Point it in different directions and adjust its trajectory. Unless of course you have to build two to connect, in which case, well yes that does get far more complicated. But consider the fleets and productions the Citadel races were able to make. These Mass Relays would NOT be impossible to build yourself. Sol itself as a system, has the resources to build more Relays.
  15. Believe me, I wanted to. But it has no repair feature of any kind, moves like dookie and frankly just, isn't what I need out of a fighter in this game. If its Ion Turret was useful and it had a repair droid, and I could throw a light hull on it likE THE TIE BOMBER CAN GET BUT THE Y-WING CAN'T FOR SOME FRAKKING STUPID-ASSED REASON then yeah I'd absolutely be flying the Y-Wing! But I don't. It is lazy power management but also really hurts you, tbh. It is logical to assume a bomber can drop several bombs, but using the same gun ports for three different weapons? ****.
  16. A paintjob doesn't really dictate OT to me, but everything being weathered being OT is such a worn down aesthetic point of the OT that it's lost all meaning.
  17. Oh Gods, don't do that. for your own sake. For one you should always bee full-to-engines. Resonant shields do NOT decay and being full to shields doesn't make them stronger or make them recharge faster. Just overcharge and switch full power to engines. Try to get used to 8/4/0. You lose a lot of speed and turn rate if you're ever-... Why don't I just add you on Origin/Steam/Whatever and we play sometime? DM me and I can just teach you things you probably need to know but trust me, those are features, not bugs, but they're not as powerful as you may think.
  18. The B-Wing not firing both beams isn't really a bug. As for the TIE Defender, yeah. In my hands it's especially deadly. That's not boasting, I'm just the right kind of skillset to fly it.
  19. It is live and it is good.
  20. You join us, that's what you do. Plain and simple.
