  2. Falling in that fun 21-25pt range makes him pretty useful in a lot of lists. Inaldra and Sunny make it really easy to go four ship Scum. It's all about EPT/Missile choice (and to fill illicit or keepnir cheap) What's his best 3 load outs and why?
  3. It's a whole new maneuver since it adjusts arc and range. As good? Not on red, but on a green it would be.
  4. Green/white tallon rolls? Beats kturns all day. I think he's still super fun.

  6. TLT is another 7pts. We were talking about an unguided rockets build. A more expensive, less durable Ywing isn't great. A HWK is still bad with a +1 primary and better dial 2.5/3/3/2 already happens at 21pts in the tie advanced. Those don't see play, either would this. 3/3/3/1 is also 22pts of alpha with a shield upgrade. Not really viable either. Out of faction gets just as close and just as No matter what load out you pick there are similar ships in faction (or out for TLT) that do pretty much the exact same thing and usually better. The empire doesn't have very many "Imperial only" upgrades that break either and NO unique slots to help.
  7. Back in Wave 4 we tuned it down to 86...14pt bid man. That's a real bid.
  8. It's worse than a 3 die attack. Do not kid yourself. That same 28pts gets you an actual 3/3/3/3 stat line instead of 2.5/2.5/4/1. Heck jump to 33 and you even get double tap. That's its problem, it's not too bad, but it's not good either. Except TLT there are other ships that do it and those don't see play. There are other TLTs that do it just as well that barely see play.

  10. LWF and rockets yes. I just assume LWF goes on most things these days. It just won't outlast for me. It's a mid 20s to mid 30s ship that doesn't t punch and doesn't grind. I don't like playing turrets but I'm trying and I don't see the draw and unguided rockets is a joke so far.
  11. I think you mean: the short straw for the past 6 waves. Mild exaggeration? I do think the Deci beats out the YT but not by much since Dash is still in play. The best imperial ship in recent times was the SF... probably still the 3rd best ship of the wave behind both the shadowcaster and the proctorate fighter. The last time the Empire got the clear "best" was wave 4- The REAL Phantom. Now it has recieved a lot of help from other packs but having to go back to a time when there were only 2 factions in the game to get to "best of the wave starting chassis" is telling. There is a reason you can only High PS Ace and Decimator Ace.

  14. I'd go about it the other way: don't play NPE squad VS. New players.
  15. First Order Interceptor, Title, 0pts: Tie/VN and Tie/In only. Your upgrade bar gains a tech slot. When you reveal a ___ speed maneuver you may treat it as a troll(or sloop. Either will do). You may equip a second title. Silencer, title, 2pts, Tie/VN: your action bar gains cloak.
  16. That's one of the beauties of this game: if you are a critical thinker with any spatial recognition skills and love Star Wars, it's an easy sell and an easy game. Both of those issues are concerns these days as we see combos that crest NPE and don't see x-wings, tie fighters, lambada, Slave 1, or Falcons on tables to show off. It's been a worry from xwingers for awhile now. I think my first "newbie" squad was Vader with squad leader, Turr+PTL , alpha x2. Swap in FOs and swarm leader and make Turr Another ace and I think it's still a fun list.
  17. Shouldn't Vader just get errata'd to have Intensity built in...might be the most intense guy in the galaxy.

  20. Without reading a word of the thread: Hammers. Break those minis with hammers. Then they have an illegal list since they don't have ships that match thier cards. Hammers is the answer.
