Unless he's packing 2 xwings I always shoot Han First so he never gets to shoot first! The few games I've lost to YT builds have been me trying to take out supports first. Cut the head off and then feast on the body.

I'm guessing some silly Vader/Soonir/Turr trix where they win the game by never actually get shot at. Also, with Kir coming giving him PTL would be pretty brutal. For Rebels the last thing Han needs is more power and more options. -
I love interceptors but just can't ever get a 3 interceptor list to produce like it should. They are a hard counter to some things but ion's just hose them.

I like Decorated, but I don't think it would be a title. Seems like it could be something like: Decorated: 2pt(Elite Pilot Talent) Requirement: Minimum Pilot Skill: 5. Any Pilot may take this EPT. Add Elite Pilot Upgrade to your upgrade bar. I don't know about allowing a second EPT though. That sounds like a recipe for something broken to happen. Also, 1pt is a little low. Giving something without PTL the ability to take PTL should cost just a bit more. -
I think he can be better. Auto damage is auto damage. How much damage do you get out of your 2 academy pilots usually? I bet it's somewhere between 6-8 before getting blown up and he'll definitely cover that and probably be around longer. PTL on him would have been great, for now we'll have to find a way to pair a viable squad leader with him, or fly him like an alpha who happens to have a higher PS and will almost always do an extra 2-3 damage a game. I think he's going to be like backstabber and mauler; sometimes they are way better than the standard ship, sometimes they get one shot.

It's a lot like VI, some games it will matter big and you'll be glad you have it but some games it will do nadda... except VI is the entire match and not just a single action so not really at all.

Yeah. The N-1 as statted would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 17... same as Prototype with different upgrades and barrel roll... so better. Drop down to one proton and take away either boost or barrel roll (boost to differentiate from Awing).

Far too many actions and upgrades a ship. Over at Board Game Geek there is a thread with many of these ships done and they are pretty good; a few are underpowered (bigger ships) but none are overdone. Take a look there and adjust from there. Baseline is PS- 0 Att - 2 Ag - 2 Hull -3 Shield- 0 After that PS is generally + 1 each Att and Agility are 8 each Hull is ~3+ each Shield is ~4.5 Large ships get a discount (~-7) and some upgrade and movement dials (shuttle and hawk) are weighted but that should get you started.

Many are going 2 of each with the exception of basic Ties and Interceptors for the imperials and Xwings for the rebels. Many 3 xwing builds and tie swarms of 5-8 ships. Buy what you like to play if your group is that small. You'll have fun and that's what matters. If you start going to leagues and tournaments you can still compete with these lists and as you get better (and win) your collection can grow that way too.

I've been working on this for a few weeks now! Love the idea. I have no problem with the simultaneous attack rules and prefer them to the "basic rules" where you do things by PS and then by point cost. I expect we will see a 3rd or neutral faction OR we'll see a whole new "sister" game with the same rules just ships from another era. I would like to see more asteroid interaction or just more options for terrain that do different things. I would like to see some force users moving asteroids, bumping asteroids making them move, and just more terrain options. The ealier listed EPTs are good too.

Still wish that first image was a go! The white planet is growing on me. Some shadow or other break up is needed because it is a lot of eye strain. Clouds/weather instead of shadow? Just something to break it up a titch more.

5-ship Rebel Build for upcoming tournament

ABXY build is my current Rebel favorite- Green + cluster + PTL Blue + FCS Rookie Gold + Ion Green is just silly, Blue and Rookie keep the pressure on, and gold is surprisingly good with the Green able to pick on stuff or Blue just slow rolling behind the ionized ship. A few points left over but not quite enough for a major upgrade. -

Your squad is interesting. I havn't had a ton of success with bombs but keep seeing how useful they are. Are the 2 bombs better than 2 missiles + something else? -

Getting closer! Much more elegant. "He can't do that"- when you reveal your dial, instead of performing that manuever, perform one maneuver speed 1-4 maneuver not listed on your dial and gain a stress token. Immediatelyroll 1 red die; on a *hit* result discard this card, but on a *crit* result discard this card and deal yourself 1 face-up damage card. How much are we costing this at? -

What if you went 2x bwing with FCS and an Awing? Give you a blocker as skirmisher and 2 big guns. Might be a nice alternative. ORS + APL/Intel 29/28 Blue + FCS x2 = 48 Green + PTL = 22 99/98 pts depending on what you put on ORS. Downgrade the FCSs and Put a missile on board? Prototype + Homing missile instead? Still some wiggle room there.

Awing just needs a tich! I love em (but am an imperial player). Advanced are probably the least popular and least supported. I think giving them a few named pilots would be good. Another title card for them could be: Prototype- choose advanced sensors, torpedoes, or bombs. You may add this upgrade to your upgrade bar.

"He Can't Do That!" is amazing, and broken. With it, I have a 5/8 chance of performing a white koiogran or the shuttle's park. Alter it to always stressing. Also, I'd have "Roll 2 attack dice. For each [crit] rolled this way, deal yourself 1 face-up damage card" How about change it to "perform any 1, 2, 3, or 4 straight, bank or turn maneuver. Roll 1 green and 1 red dice. On an evade on the green die gain a stress token. On a crit on the red die, take 1 damage and 1 stress token and discard this card." More manageable? -

"Watch this!"- same as above but as an action perform a barrel roll, evade, or boost action. Points on these would be tricky. Less powerful than an engine upgrade or navigator but better than daredevil. With PTL at 3 everything else seems like it should be 2. Awing title: rear firing arc. Ywing title: extra crew and/or advanced sensors Tie advanced title: prototype- may take 1 upgrade not listed in upgrade bar. Tie advanced unique title: Lord Vaders Tie- may take 1 free EPT Lots of options! -
Love the first one but it is less green than the original (which I liked). The white planet just doesn't quite do it for me. It takes up a bit too much of the space and doesn't have a lot going for it. The background could use a little something since the planet is already white/grey/black. Still interested no matter which route you choose but I would love an eclipse one and the original planet from the 1st post.
